  1. @Leo Gura In no way I am saying that there is only one way. There can be a million ways that we couldn't even imagine. All I am saying is that, having a glimpse of truth gives one the real or complete perspective of where one wants to go (here and now), and they can start working for much stable platform. M not even against 5-MEO-DMT as long as its just needed for the glimse. BUT, on existential plane which has absolutely finer aspects, using some chemical is a crude way to go all the way. Using blacksmiths tools may work with gold also for certain purposes but not for finer work. One will not want to watch the trailers again and again if it excited him a few times! We do not even know the movie yet! Trailer may appear exciting just because most haven't watched it yet.. Having established stability in one's experience can help delve deeper to know the mechanics. Once Again m not saying that glimse is giving any less Truth - it is the absolute truth, but post that, the mechanics of creation can be understood and played with ! Infact, as per the Patanjali's Yogsutra, which is the legitimate but misunderstood basis of all the yoga practiced today: Enlightenment is the "First Step", and not the final step!

  3. @Leo Gura With all respect, I believe you are misunderstanding the term Karma. What Sadhguru or any genuine teacher is talking about is enlightenment, and what you are talking about is "enlightening experience" by using 5-MeO-DMT which is not permanent. At some level Karma is the basis of the body or to be more specific, basis of holding the life (consciousness) within the body. It's continuously being worked upon and new karma may or may not be generated based on how a person conducts himself or herself. On the other hand, any drug or specifically 5-MeO-DMT is an external chemical which frees the experience seat (can relate to Pineal gland) from the Karmic substance of multiple sheaths of body - giving the temporary enlightenment experience.
  4. Ohh - thats a good book - you could have given it to me instead of throwing away
  5. @MM1988 Nothing to argue about what is being pointed is right or wrong.. but just to broaden the perspective it should be understood that in all of the observable universe there is only 1 place where Life forms exist. Definitely there is a lot of supporting system for life to manifest itself on this planet on various layers and levels.. The very fundamentals like earth's tilt is responsible for various season changes which goes hand in hand with sun and moon positions making life possible on earth. One won't be alive to be asking this question if he is in space.. as the life forms are not supported there (no atmosphere either). So minor variations or certain activities in the immediate entities close to earth can definitely impact this supportive system. @Shanmugam I agree with you totally that a lot of bullshit is prevalent around with lack of understanding and or "lack of will to understand", so best to ignore such bullshit. Almost everyone points the wrong but hardly anyone ever works to correct it because of lack of this will.
  6. @MM1988 I posted this comment on some other topic too.. so pasting it right here.. It takes a fool's confidence or real insight into life's fundamentals to say something like that in public. So everyone has to make the judgement about the video themselves. In yoga life forms have different sheaths of body. Physical, mental, energy and 2 more. What is being talked above is about energy body maturing. Not much to comment but I searched top countries that consume Frozen food are very much inline with top countries with maximum cancer cases. Frozen food means preserving the physical form from changing irrespective of what goes underneath. I just added a bit of context for the video. There are lots of points or opinions that may/may not call this stupid.
  7. @blazed Just messing with you brother.. My original answer was right before the comment..
  8. @see_on_see It would appear that your point is: @blazedon psychedelics is almost same as @Shanmugamon Sadhguru Both aren't ready to agree they are against them.. but mostly they talk about the risk there is with them Isn't it.. Yes or no...?
  9. It's really a sensitive topic and a bit of sense is needed even by those who have experienced certain states using psychedelic. Human system is a very subtly balanced system.. for enhancing that to a higher level right tools are needed which can work on that level. Using psychedelics for experiencing higher conscious states is like going to a "Blacksmith" when you should have gone to a "Goldsmith". Finer work needs finer tools. Maybe for a few times the work might be accomplished by Blacksmith but the gold loses its lustre and can very well go out of shape etc... It's just that with human system there might be no coming back when too much Blacksmith technology is used with the system which needs much more fine work than that needed for gold.

  11. Yes.. Osho too recommended vegetarian food... http://www.osho.com/read/featured-articles/body-dharma/being-a-vegetarian However, I believe Sadhguru did not say to be vegetarian but he tells to eat simpler food... That whose structure can be easily broken and integrated with the body (makes sense as less energy is spent in digestion ). However certain veg food (like mushroom) are more complex than certain non-vegetarian food ( like fishes)
  12. Ohh @Shanmugam, Whenever I open your profile - it's mostly with "anti-Sadhguru" content You seriously need to move on from that - don't let this become an obsession. Those who are not the blind followers will anyhow get the point. Those who are blind followers (devotee) won't care for the point. PS: I understand concerns of yours from the video and your blogs - but I don't suspect the intent of Sadhguru's work. Considering Life is supposed to be imperfect(that is what makes you alive) - take what works for you and ignore the rest.
  13. @Ether Ohhhh I didn't mean he is judging. I just meant he is biased with "Shiva" and not "India" And he very well justified it!!
  14. @electroBeam He many times belittle's Buddha or many others who were born in India Watch the 2 below..
  15. @Leo Gura Another possibility is that Sadhguru is the most politically/socially aware Guru yet and speaks only that content which can help push the bulk of population in the direction he thinks can be best. Even if that means to lie to everyone. As far as I know his answers differ when he is talking in-person vs when he is talking to bulk of people. The impact differs from people to people.
  16. Let's define these: Intellect: when you have the data points for which you are conscious and also conscious of what processing you are doing - it is called intellect. Intuition: There is lot of memory(data points) for which we are mentally unconscious and still the intelligence of our system (not intellect) that flows through us does the processing. We know the result clearly but not the data points or processing very clearly - That is intuition. Osho gave a clear discrimination between Instinct, Intellect and Intuition in this article: http://www.oshoworld.com/osho_talk/talks/misery04.asp Further more - the video that you posted about Sadhguru - he is talking about gut-feeling more as an instinct than intuition. Here are 2 of his videos about intuition:
  17. The basic necessity when trying to make a leap is to have a solid ground. I have tried the practices of a few different schools of Yoga but Isha's practices are REALLY AMAZING to get you create a solid ground for your system. Most of the Isha followers get really excited when they are recommending Isha/Sadhguru which sends a negative or repulsive message, but leave all the talks and just experiment with the practices taught at Isha like Hatha-Yoga/Surya Kriya/Shambhavi/Shakti Chalan Kriya - Judge yourself. DO NOT GO ON INTERNET TO LEARN YOGA PRACTICES - you may end up reaching nowhere. There are very finer aspects that are covered RARELY by most and they make HUGE difference. Once you have sufficient balance within yourself - you will know what to do and whom to go ahead with.
  18. I have a constant twitching in my head not necessarily just in one place. It's like very thin hair like lines of sensations. On focusing/tracking all of them lead to somewhere near center and middle of the brain. It occupies most of the attention all the time and can get me irritated. Anyone else with similar experience? Or any suggestion ?
  19. Not sure - my life is pretty smooth and only stress that I think can be because of the dire-quest for enlightenment It may be because of too much information pumped into the head - I think I need to find ways to drain out the overloaded data.
  20. So how do you handle that? Any way you can overcome it?
  21. Hey - Here is a newbie to this platform.
  22. M not sure what to make out of that snippet.. I just understand that we can never know about an "Enlightened Person" just through his talks or content he says. It's many times with the authority with which they speak and the longing they have to share something, which they most of the times cannot do directly. Something funny I noticed - Osho was born in the same year as my Grandfather and Sadhguru was born in the same year of my Father. We do discuss/see/are impacted by certain revolutionary people when we grow up - this appears to be the case here. I do not see that as a reason to doubt someone's mastery. There is something at experiential level and something at capability level - Sadhguru may not be the most efficient but I do not see a greater Master than him in long time. If we see his activities and schedule, I just can say that something that made him that robust and Balanced and works for him will definitely work for any other human being. (You can say that it has nothing to do with Enlightenment - my point here is about ability to impart something) Regarding him being a "Sham" -> That is the risk we all take when becoming a seeker and can continuously work over it. No-one needs to be a blind follower of anyone. With current media/technology, There is always a lot to say/pin-point against some guy when he is alive because there is a continuous inflow of each and every activity or statement they make. As a seeker I know I need to gather all-that which works for me and let go the rest. Note: If we are going off-topic - you can inbox me your encounters with JV which make you think "less" of him.
  23. I happened to attend a few programs at Sadhguru's center - and what those programs are capable to do with you are mind-blowing (body/energiy too get blown out). I am NOT an enlightened being yet, and am a seeker - but it does not really needs you to be enlightened to identify a genuine master. I agree that the content of JV and Osho may seem similar and even that he might have read that but it's not about copyright but about the content. I also do not agree with his claims of not reading Geeta or any other scriptures - I agree with the fact that Sadhguru can lie - but from what I see he is not a moral or even a good person - his objective appears to be pushing most of the population on the spiritual journey and make them a genuine seeker with minimal resistance. A major difference between Sadhguru and many other masters (including Osho) is that his work on people is not just on the level of mind, he uses the body and energies (Kriya) to a GREAT extent. One does not just makes other people(me) get out of the body and bring them back OR One doesn't just fills you with energies when between an exhaustive activity you are total broken and can't even get-up ( I was not drugged or hypnotized in the program that m very sure of and I was also not supposed to tell such things outside - oops). M not a fan of that guy only, I am a fan of Vivekananda, Osho and Eckhart Tolle too... but the work this guy can do with you is phenomenal. Yes - he is in a marketing mode always on the TV and is repeating most of his content - but how many people do you see or have come across, who can repeat the same thing thousands of time with total freshness and enthusiasm within them? He is very hard-core and way too aggressive in terms of what he wants to get done which may not be evident because of the ease in which he conducts himself.
