Love is neutral :-) It's intelligent. The Godhead, The Universe. Of course, it loves itself. Of course, it is not hate? -

I think it's worth mentioning that there no implications for anyone until 'they get there' themselves. Don't fool yourself into doing stupid things now? -

He is awake, but he lacks integration/groundedness. His ego -- which broke down/is breaking down...is being restructured in insane ways no ppl here can imagine how feels. I hope he doesn't hurt himself. 40 days seem a bit too dangerous, hope he settles for 30. -
so fucking beautiful and touching this clip. watch it from start to finish. <3

Haha, Leo, I love you Just listened to 20 minutes of his newest video "The Ultimate Structure Of Reality Explained" and he has never been more on point. So clear and straight to the point. I love it. I also wanted to make this "topic" just to mention that what Leo is saying in his video, is exactly the same message that Alan Watts is communicating in this talk: That it's all your doing. I can recommend just the first 44 minutes of this talk (listen to 1,5x speed, it's fine, if you're good in English), cos the first 44 minutes sums it all up pretty well: It's all your doing.

Selfish, but they don't have a problem with it. I.e. they dont go around 'worrying' that they are not selfless enough -

I was 1 ½ year ago (winter 2019) very suicidal. Very close to ending my own life. I was a big victim, crying over my inability to sleep and how cruel the world was to me (mostly because of my inability to sleep well, which made me feel like a zombie all the time). I was at the last step before actually doing it / trying it. Planned it. Wrote a note. It was hell. Like a "bad trip" that'd never stop. What stopped me from commiting to the plan/actually killing myself, was my love for my family. After I "chickened out", I told myself that I was just not "strong enough" to "do it", and I just said to myself that I had to continue living, doing my best to become more happy again -- whatever it would take -- having faith in the universe that my sleep issues would slowly go away... they slowly, slowly did, but are even today creeping in the background. I then got a job that I'm now very happy for, and yeah, suddenly the world just started being friendly towards me, even though I was still struggling/still felt like I was in "a bad trip" until around early summer 2019. I have been suicidal at many points in my life actually. This winter 2019 was the most dramatic however. But even this winter, 6 months ago, I was also somewhat suicidal (also depressed). But it was milder than the 2019 one. And where am I now? I'm awake, and I'm sure I would not have been without my depression. However, I suppose you can become enlightened without depression. We are all unique. This Tolle-quote resonates SO fucking much with me: "The world is not there to make you happy, it is there to challenge you. The interesting thing is that when you stop expecting the world or situation to satisfy you, it usually flips and shows you it's friendly/benign face." -

On point <3 It's the greatest gift exactly because of the infinite contrast between the "separate/finite/lacking/fearing self" and then the awakening *of that* which now makes *that*(=you) conscious of the opposite: "Oneness/Infinity/Wholeness/Love". Not only concious of that (Love) but you actually BECOME it. You become Whole/Complete/Infinite/Love. That's awakening. Remembering that you are that, and always have been, and forever will be ... I want to cry over how beautiful it is ... <3 -

<3 Yeah, well, thinking is not a problem in and of itself. Thinking is only "a problem" if you "identify" with the thoughts. Of course, in order to not identify with the thoughts, you have to first have reached a point where you are capable of not having any thoughts. Because until then you cannot not stop identifying with them, since you have nothing to contrast them with (peace, silence). How do you stop thinking? Welll, you stop feeding the mind. You don't try to *stop thinking* (that's pointless, like trying to still flowing water with a flat iron, another AW quote;)), instead you just *listen* to the mind, observing it, without giving "monkey-mind" any bananas. Bananas = identifying with the thoughts, believing in the stories they tell you. Just listen to the thoughts like it's a story. When you listen to a story being read up to you, you just enjoy it/observe it, you don't buy into the story like it was real. -

I'm glad you like the music! <3 Thank you for the warning. But it's not that needed, because delusion is already what I fear most, so naturally I have always tried to be careful of that:-) Delusion have always been my number 1 fear since I was a teenager. I have always had a very deep passion for understanding the world/myself, just for understanding's sake, not for any real purpose. Of course, some people will read this, and say that my fear of delusion is in itself a delusion, and so we could continue to spin around. I'm not up for these language-games, they are pointless. I do me. You do you. Sort of I have never said I don't listen to other people's opinions. Of course: I actually want to listen to my own opinions. Other = me. Me = other. What I was/am saying is that I don't go around -- as per default -- fearing what other people/strangers/new friends/new dates think of me. I used to do that all my life, always trying to please people. Now I don't do that anymore, cos I see that all people are me, and there is no point in fearing yourself (when you fully know yourself at least) ! :-) <3 -

Hello brother. I'm happy on your behalf to hear that you too have awakened. Yes, I like your wording. We are still infants. However, I must say I already feel pretty much like a grown-up capable of enjoying and watering this beautiful garden of God (i.e. my garden), we normally call life. I have to say, my integration is going pretty smooth. Dno why. Always in the past, after trips, I have found integration very, very difficult. Especially after my Ayahuasca-trips. It took time. Now it just seems to happen without me doing anything. Of course me writing a lot on this forum is how I sort of integrate it a bit. But I don't even -- most of the time -- feel like it's me writing these messages. It just happens. I follow you 100%. My thirst for life is infinite/unlimited, right now, it seems. It's sort of scary to have so much "creative force" inside you, and so much freedom. The world is literally at my feet and it is OF COURSE beautiful beyond beautiful... but also a bit "wauww-let's-just-relax-for-a-bit-shall-we":-) -

Almost all people are experiencing non-duality without knowing it. Only people who are awake are experiencing non-duality while being aware of it (i.e. *knowing it*.). Non-duality = Reality = God = Consciousness = Love = Absolute Infinity -

"The universe gives back to you what you put in. Many spiritual teachers say this. How is it then that lottery wins happen to people who give nothing and are totally selfish? " First of all, money will not make you happy. Maybe temporarily, but not permanently. Secondly, imagine for a second, that 'some people' are by God/You chosen to be more lucky than 'you' -- i.e. wins the lottery even if they are "evil"/"bad" motherfuckers -- only for one purpose: to test you. A challenge. A test. Life is the ultimate test: How Loving can you be? If you go for the bait and project all kinds of labels onto these "lucky motherfuckers" and then project back onto yourself as "unlucky" etc.. then you are: failing the test. If you want to pass the test there is only one thing to do. Stop looking outward and look inward. It's INSIDE that the "Real Money/Real Treasure" is hidden. -

God is the most selfish "being" you can imagine. He wants nothing but Love to himself. That's selfish man. ... but wait... there are no other han himself to love...... nothing is outside Him. So he got no other choice! You see, your dualistic belief of selfishness and selflessness being opposites... it's wrong. Selfishness and selflessness is one and the same thing. You can call it Selfishness, you can call it Selflessness. It's One. One. One. One. Oneness. Non-duality 101. OF COURSE: Relatively speaking, within the dream, selflessness and selfishness are indeed complete opposites for anyone not awake. And even for the dude's who awake, he can still pretend to talk about it as opposites, just to get people to follow the Loving/Conscious path. Because of course: God is completely Selfless, and the complete unenligthened ego is completely selfish. Of course. I'm not denying that. I was just -above- talking about the Absolute Perspective, where everything is seen to be Oneness. -

Suicide is only something God would do if She is imagining Herself so deeply to be a <separate self> that has forgot its Divinity AND feels very, very much like a victim of "a cruel world". But nothing could be farther from the truth: <the separate self> IS in Reality pure imagination and IS in Reality God Herself and IS in Reality therefore the opposite of a victim: i.e. responsible and in power/control the whole time. Therefore the situation of a 'imaginary separate self' commiting suicide is the complete opposite of enlightenment. It's the easiest way to not reach it. Cos God will try again right after, perhaps with a character that is slightly more in touch with The Divine. :-) But you still have to go through it all again. If you want to awaken, do it now while you got the chance. :-) Of course, if you don't want to awaken, you *could* still commit suicide, if you really wanted to (not that I recommend it: I don't at all, I'm a big fan of life/the dream). This would be equal to typing "-suicide" in a video game. The characther/NPC would die, but a new one would spawn again soon after. :-) The only chance to awaken is Now. Awakening is the NPC/character realizing its Divinity/Godhead-nature. It's the most beautiful event possible inside God's dream. Go for it. But don't take my word for it -- that it's beautiful. Search for understanding, honesty and truth for their own's sake. The truth may be bad, it may be good. You have no clue. Let go of beliefs and find out yourself... for understanding's sake. Knowledge is power (real knowledge, not belief-knowledge... although belief-knowledge sort of can be powerful too (in relative sense) if it's "relatively true"). With knowledge/power you can be free. Free to do as you please. Free to control yourself (and "others") as you please. As you please will most likely be in a Loving way, since God = Love (but again: don't take my word for it!). Don't believe anything I say. EDIT: I'm here talking about the case of suicide for a person who's not awake, i.e. asleep in the dream, i.e. not aware of the dream's nature: dream (probably instead believing it to be "real" / "serious business"). I suppose some enlightened human beings will choose to commit suicide. Maybe. I am enlightened and got no plans for it, currently, but who knows in the future. But that will be out of Love, not out of "lack/regret/fear" as in the first mentioned, asleep case. Of course, ultimately speaking: a human being, who's asleep, commiting suicide is also a Loving act (big L, non-duality you know). But in a relative sense it's the opposite of love: it's fear, hate, regret, lack, believing to be a separate victim-self of a cruel world. Anyway, thanks for the good question <3 -

“Wisdom is knowing I am nothing, Love is knowing I am everything, and between the two my life moves.” ― Nisargadatta Maharaj You see, "everything" and "nothing" are just words. Reality is both everything and nothing You are both everything and nothing You = Reality = Nothing = Everything Now this makes zero sense for the rational mind. To understand Reality / Yourself / The Truth: you have to let go of the rational mind and go beyond. There, beyond -- when you have fully let go -- is where you can directly "get it" for yourself. It has nothing to do with "language-games", rational thinking or logic. Nothing at all. -

"The only thing that creates value meaning purpose is the 'sense of self'.. and it's an illusion" Haha I agree in one sense. But to only take this perspective shows that you still got a long way to go:-) It's not the full truth. There is inherent Love built into the very fabric of existence itself. That you can't grasp this is something that makes me feel sorry for you. How can something that is not real, was never real -- i.e. not there in the first place -- create meaning and purpose??? Easy enough: it can't, cos it doesn't exist. There are more layers to Reality than your narrow and shallow nihilistic nothingness-awakening. -
WaveInTheOcean replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
An ego can be infinitely free, infinite in its understanding of its own unreality, infinitely Loving, infinitely selfless. This is an awakened person I'm describing, right there. Also: as the ego sees it's unreal/that its true nature is everything, i.e. it identifies itself just as much with every other being on the planet as with its own private body..., naturally you could then say that the ego is still *just as selfish* as it's always been: now it just defines itself as EVERYTHING! :-) The all-encompassing ego. The person who knows that he is nothing and everything. The awakened person. Infinite Selfishness = infinite selflessness "Love says 'I am everything.' Wisdom says 'I am nothing.' Between the two, my life flows" -
WaveInTheOcean replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes yes i agree But also: Enlightenment = ego seeing it's God (and getting it 100%) I know you don't agree with this, but yeah, i just want to ask then, who is Sadhguru then? Why will he respond to me yelling 'Sadhguru!' ??? Because he is an ego (an enlightened one) or because he is not an ego?? Ego = Person = Character The character still exist after awakening. It is just seen to be that: a character, i.e. illusion! All your talk and bashing of 'the ego', I find it rather funny: Cos from the Absolute Perspective, it's not real - i.e. doesn't exist. And from a relative perspective, ((i.e. looked on from inside the dream, and you and me and Sadhguru are still inside the dream, right? We can still meet up physically and talk to each other as normal persons (could be fun btw))), ego is always the case! ...:-) Be better at making sharp and precise distinctions between relative and Absolute truths. All confusion on this forum comes from the mixing up of the two. From the Absolute Perspective it's all Oneness. God=Ego=Real=Unreal From the relative perspective, what I just said about ego always being the case as long as you function as a human being (awake or asleep), and what you just said about true enlightenment=no ego.... Both statements are partly true, partly untrue! Anekāntavāda. Language cannot communicate the Actual Truth. Only point. We don't even know if the word 'ego' means the same to you as it does to me! All words are meaningless sounds, and only makes sense within relative contexts.
