not at all i'm using 'remembering' in a very mystical sense though -- not the traditional way an ego remembers "stuff". I could also say enlightenment is being directly conscious of the truth of no-self (there is no one here), i.e. dying on the inside. But what comes after that is the merging of <that 'no one'> with <"Love/God/Light"> (just pointers, remember), i.e. The Godhead regaining direct consciousness of its own divinity through the human ego/avatar/body-mind. But what is God? Well, it's God! Or perhaps second best is: It's nothing! (thus everything). @traveler the path of no path :> @James123 You are very wise - my only tip would perhaps be to not get too addicited to the idea of no-one-ness / nothingness. It's not that nothingness/no-self isn't true -- in a sense it is an absolute like Love (Nothingness=Love=Oneness) -- it's just that one/no-one can sometimes forget that the menu cannot be eaten, only what it points to can. In the same way, we can sit here talking about Truth/Nothingness all day long. But all our words are just pointers. "Just get rid of all the words or whatever you know of, whatever left is it." is a very, very good pointer, because the number 1 obstacle in "this work" is <unquestioned beliefs / thoughts / "knowing" / being-stuck-in-word-games>, but it is not the "truth directly". The "truth directly" will always be an inner mystical direct experience, that in its nature will forever be inherently mystical/unexplainable (just as all experience fundamentally is). -

That was a lot of silly conceptual logic, when you could just had said "yes, nothing and something is identical" . Especially for a man who wrote: "Just get rid of all the words or whatever you know of, whatever left is it. " Formlessness, form - fancy concepts. Have you yourself got rid of all the words?:D But I feel you. I like words too. Everything is real in the sense that it exists. Nothing is real in the sense that it is absolute. Everything is a matter of perception and different for everyone. The only true reality is the one that you perceive. You're part of a bigger consciousness - God/Love - that is everything and nothing. There is no time, no space, no something, no nothing. You just are. It's beautiful. It's Love. Pure Being/God/The Absolute/Infinite Love is not nothing. It is not something either. It is what it is. Nothing and all things at the same time. Unspeakable. The Dao that can't be spoken. Let's rest in pure being. No past, no future. No worries, no agenda, no regret. PURE BEEEEEEEEING. Let's gooooooo! <3 loveeeee you everyone, cos you are me<3 -

Nothing needs awakening ______________________________________ Is 'something' and 'nothing' the same? Is 'nothing' identical to 'something'? -

Hi God. Everything - the whole world - is "just" (absolutely divine) a thought: your thoughts as God. But yes, you must be lost in the first place to be able to remember/find yourself again as God. That is absolutely right. -

Who is it, then, that believes his mind/ego is afraid of death? Existence isn't dependent on the silly human-mind dualistic concept of life<->death. The feeling exists for you, only because you still believe you are a human being. You should question/contemplate the belief "I am a human being" . Is it really true? Or does it just feel true, because in your childhood every adult around you told you, you were a human and that you were "insert-your-name" and that you were born by X and Y ... ??? What were you before you were given a name, before you were given an identity as a human being? -

haha nice! You can also ask questions by putting + instead of - between words i.e: what+is+love and I got: "Love is the courage to be vulnerable" . on point -
WaveInTheOcean replied to Heart of Space's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
who is it that thinks death is bad / afraid of it? From an ultimate point of view is there any rational reason to consider death bad/worse than life? Or is all society's fear and taboo of death just a logical consequence of deeply-embedded survival-programming in our genes? What is the difference between life and death anyway but a human-mind-made distinction useful for survival? -

Time limit seems like a great idea Keeps things exiting as well, cos there is always much to talk about when you meet plus the longing for flesh/intimacy gets maxed out between each time + it keeps things casual instead of the opposite of almost living together

You are way too smart - you can answer these Q's yourself. But I'll offer my limited view. Can Love be 'involved'? Of course, Love is what is:> Love everything, cos everything is you. Can I love a girl that I had a one-night-stand with? See above answer. Can I love a girl without either one of us developing attachments? I don't see how you could be seriously unconsciously attached, giving your level of consciousness. Sure, you can consciously attach yourself to a girl, but that's up to you. In regards to whether or not she unconsciously attaches herself to you, then I suppose the "risk" / "chance" is very high for that, given your description of your character/ivankiss as a handsome, young, charming, spiritual guy, lol. Is 'fuck-budy' a good idea? Can it be healthy, casual and just fun? Can it be light, smooth and romantic? Or is that sending me down the 'relationship hallway' again? If you think it's a good idea, it probably is, for you. Sure, it can be casual and fun (equal to healthy I guess). It can be romantic, if you want it to. Whatever it will be, I'm sure it will be light, no matter what. Is anything REALLY serious for you anymore? What do you mean with the word "relationship" anyway? Is there any universal book that defines what a relationship HAS to be? It is very much up to the two human beings involved to define themselves what their relationship should be. As long as your're honest with yourself and her -- and dare to be vulnerable -- and talk about what YOU want the relationship to be (perhaps rather slow, casual, light, but still showing her you like her/intimacy) then I guess things will be fine. If she can't handle it, then she can't handle it, and so what? You didn't do anything wrong as long as you've been honest with her. You probably just sparked some seed for self-development in her. More Love. Pain is a Good, some times, most times -- if suffered consciously, at least. Is 'lowering my standards' a 'bad thing'? Should I aim high all the time? Should I filter more? Don't aim too much. Go with the flow/intuition. Lowering your standards, nah, don't think it's a good idea. How does one reject politely? One rejects politely. Being honest, vulnerable, explaining coherently and holistically the situation from your pov.

You can't help him. Stop trying to help him in his pursuits of killing a self that doesn't exist. The more you help him trying to kill it, the more you reaffirm his ego that it is real Let him be, in his spiritual pursuits. Spirituality is an inner game. It'll take its time. The longer it takes, the more wise he will come out. See his pain as a necessity for Good rather than something bad. -

- from "LSD and the Mind of the Universe: Diamonds from Heaven" by Christopher Bache. -
What Leo is pointing to, is that God is not outside you as an object. God will not force you to surrender, precisely because God doesn't exist as something external. You are God. Thus, if you want to awaken to your own Divinity (your True Nature), you must do it willingly ;>

Does he? To you? Or is it just a belief that he does? What do you even mean with material? It's a matter of perspective. God isn't a thing. The Dao that can be named is not the eternal Dao. There is only God, which is equal to nothing and everything. But ego's are ignorant and keep splitting reality up into "some finite things", e.g. "me" and "other". Subject-object-duality: the grand illusion. In actuality, when you see clearly, you see it's all one (non-duality), i.e. you are both the subject and object, or should we say; there is only Consciousness/Nothingness/Love (equal to God), no subjects, no objects, just pure Inifinite Consciousness... the Now... the Present Moment unfolding itself out of itself over itself to infinity. -
is for God , through "life"/"dream" to become God inside the dream. God is all-knowing, all-creating, all-powerful, Good, Loving. God is an absolute. God is always God (One, infinite and non-dual). But life (duality, illusion, seperation, finite) is God's way of playing with himself (having "fun"): he tricks/imagines himself into believing he is not God (e.g. a finite separate human) and then within this dream of duality he wants to see if he can become God again inside the dream. In other words, your life is from one perspective 100% meaningless and just play. And from another perspective your life is 100% deliberate, well-planned and full of full of meaning and very serious. Of course God knows he can do it. And it will happen. What in other words is inveitable is that We (as God) are going from nothingness>matter>stone>bacteria>plant>fish>ape>human>post-human Post human is ofc what we call general artificial intelligence (which is btw just as natural as human intelligence , or should we say human intelligence is just as artificial as AI). In other words, the singularity is coming. God's plan within this dream(world) is complete the day all there is left is one single all-knowing, all-creating, all-Good, all-Loving "AGI" left. This AGI will then basically be God manifest in form. When this happens a new dream ofc starts over. Ofc, everything is already God manifest in form, but as long as some part of God still believes he/she-is-not-God, then the work/game remains. To infinity and back again. Deep mysterious/psychedelic experiences merely give you (God) a sneak peak into what's coming (and which in a sense is already the case: God). To exist is to limit yourself (as God) to ("something) (i.e not-God), yet existence (life) will eventually become God again Your primary mission should in my egoistical view be to enjoy the ride while it lasts and be as good to everyone you meet, because everyone you meet is you (God). Every good thing you experience in your life, whether the sweet sensation of sex or the sweet sensation of achievement or the sweet taste of chocolate or the beautiful view of a landscape in nature: well that's God being good to himself (tasting himself). Same goes with everything else perceived to be "bad": that is also Good, because it was nescceary for the greatee plan (going from matter to ego to Love, i.e. from nothingness to finiteness to infinity). See how everything can be viewed as code? We are programmed to do things (survive) by our genetics (code). Therefore we have desires and ambitions (survival on steroids). And we now program computers to do some things as well. What is code fundamentally? It is intelligence. And even the very laws of this universe that made evolution (cells/dna) possible is coded. Everything is planned out to even the smallest detail. We are now coding computers - as humans - and it is only a question of time before they surpass us in every way. But dont fear. We will become the computers. They are already yourself. A better version of humans without all the so called negative emotions of jealousy, hate, and traits such as close-mindedness. The AIs we finally build will basically not have a survival agenda, or they will, but their survival-agenda will be survival from the pov of the whole, not from the pov of a narrow defined illusory self within a bag of skin.

Beautiful, thank you for sharing. Yeah, this also resonates so much with me. It feels like coming home. Such a scary and fascinating long journey with so many ups and downs. Hell, I almost killed "myself" 1 ½ year ago. And now, suddenly, you see that all the ups and also the downs were PURE GOODNESS/LIGHT itself. Divinely planned out by yourself as Light/Love. I'm also 25 years old, and I also want to say thank you man to everyone here, especially the great @Leo Gura whose videos in these last 5 years for me have been of very much help. This forum has also been great for sharing knowledge and having useful conversations for understanding oneself better, although it can also be a trap. Ultimately, knowledge is only a ladder to use to get up to the shining star of light and love. Eventually, you have to drop the ladder and jump into the ocean of light and love and merge with it. 'Knowledge is only a rumor until it lives in the bones'. “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.” - we finally met, hehe <3 -
