  1. ...only are separated from each other by time and nothing else. Hence, every other aspects are the same, every position of all atoms and quarks are the same, every movement and relation to each other are the same, magnetic field the same, all of quaila the same and so forth. You see what I mean, nothing but time separates the two events from each other. Then it's just ONE event, right?
  2. I agree! I use to read threads at this forum a year ago. It was a often dull back then, and more of a Leo cult. Happy to see sharp and realised people this time around.
  3. Yup, I noticed that myself! And the other things you wrote in this last post make sense as well. I just thought you pushed your perspective a little bit too far, that's all. After all, the thread is about Mahasamadhi, not Sadhguru, no matter if he's a fraud or not. That might be a topic for another thread..
  4. @Shin I like Mighty Mouse though(Even though I think Leo is great) You gotta give credit to bold statements if it comes from highly evolved beings. And the Mouse seem to be one of those..
  5. @Shanmugam Well, if I only know one thing regarding what separates two persons from each other, and that one thing is the fact that one is nothing but a random person, an average joe, and the other one is a famous and popular person with millions of followers.. ..then, if I had to pick one of them to put my trust upon, I would definitely choose the anonymous random guy. But when it comes to you and Sadhguru, I have more information then that! Sadhguru might not be realised nor knowledgeable! But at least Sadhguru knows too much not to argue or to judge! Sadly, one can't say that about you! Also, why are you attached to the idea of popularity and correlation with other qualities? Why not see popularity as a singular phenomenon without any links to other traits? Popularity isn't directly proportional to other characteristics!
  6. lol, my dyslectic tendencies! Too bad it wasn't "groundlessness", since my question was a rhetoric one. I like how Leo and others state that reality must be utterly groundless. Imagine any objective quality, be it an object, a thought or something else.. ...if you apply infinite regression on that objective quality you will not find any final ground. Ultimately, total groundlessness must be the case behind every phenomenon, even "mental stability". Because, if anything has a ground, that very ground must itself be grounded is something else. Therefore, there can't be any ground for reality strictly speaking. I just find that fascinating I guess! Hehe
  7. I'm not good with all these spiritual words for everything.. ..but are the two aspects discussed in this tread(infinity/nonduality and finite/duality) what we mean by SHIVA and SHAKTI?
  8. Mental stability and groundlessness? You think those two aspects are compatible?
  9. @Sri Ramana Maharshi You're telling me that Alex Jones and Stefan Molyneux are wrong?
  10. Good one! Actually, you've just added finity! (which makes the metaphor even better) *Still infinite because the paper is infinite, therefore it can't be cut in halves *At the same time finite, since the cut is infinite, therefore it cuts any paper into halves In your metaphor, Just as the reality we find ourself in, we have both the infinite and the finite coexisting with each other.
  11. @LastThursday True! This is maybe a better headline.. "No link between the nonduality and duality, awkward?" But then it all falls short, because, how could there be a link? Hehe, reality is so slippery! Guess Ramana Maharshi was right.. "Silence is the highest teaching"
  12. Hey, My respond was more like a pointer to how shitty the financial system still is today, even shittier! Hitler did absolutely the right thing on this subject. STRONG forces were agains him. That was just amazing how quick the economy raised, and unemployment rates dropped! And a huge optimism and positive outlook as a result. And quite amazing transformation of infrastructure, ahead of its time. He should be admired for this, but he never will of course, just by people like you and me who like to dig deep into what really happened and how things really unfolded. I remember when I as a young boy visited a was cabinet and come face to face with Hitler. I was chocked, because even a model of him revealed some of his good character and integrity! Total contradictory to what the man was told to be by teachers and schoolbooks. But for me it will be hard to respect a person that lead a county responsible for the Holocaust, even if official version isn't fully correct, I think it's somewhat true. May I ask you how you view the Holocaust? Do you believe in the official version, because if you do, you must have pretty hard time to admire a man like Hitler?
  13. Wow, I didn't see that coming from a moderator! That was unexpected! I agree with you on Trump, but I disagree with you on Leo. Well, he does nothing but talking, you are right in that respect, but I think it has value to us.
  14. Well, that's the system we use today, loan with interests and fractional banking which means that banks can give loans with money they don't have, only to collect "free" interest money. And central banks can print new money on basically arbitrary grounds. Which leads to bubbles and inflations that cause ordinary people to lose buying power. Back in the 40's, currencies where backed up by another assets, like gold. The financial system got worse in the 70s when Nixon choose to break the gold back up for the dollar. Before that, you were guaranteed to exchange dollars to a certain amount gold whenever you liked. After that, the dollar had value only because people decided so, only because of empty trust basically. Later US "forced" oil producing counties to sell their oil for US dollar and not for other currencies, that way the dollar got some back up again. Many start using the name "Petrodollar" This has nothing to do with the subject here really. I just wanted to mention this in order to explain that the financial systems haven't got better over time, it's rather the other way around. A financial system with paper money that is centralised can never be fair, no matter if jews or other groups of people are ahead and run these systems. That's why cryptocurrencies can be a huge positive transformation for society. *No third part(banks) are needed. *The coins are numbered to a certain amount, and more coins of them can never be created. Thus humans are safe from losing purchasing power to inflation and economic bubbles. *Last but not least, cryptocurrencies are Decentralised, which means that authorities are cut out from power and control over the financial means. Blockchain technology which cryptocurrencies are build upon is really revolutionary. You see what I'm saying here?
  15. I don't think it's a problem to fap and use porn. But if one do it just as a distraction, then it's really harming I think. If you are not in relationship I think it's perfectly fine, and even if you are in a relationship as well. When I choose to do it, I never do it as a distraction. It comes from deep sexual desire, like once or twice a week. One should choose porn material wisely, I like amateur material where you get that "girl next door" feeling, where everything unfolds naturally, almost as if you were a fly on the wall that can see their private meeting in the bedroom. Also, keep your fantasy at highest level, imagine how it would be to interact with that particular girl. See it as a luxury, don't hurry, set the time frame as if you really had a meeting irl. It's the CONSUMING thing that is toxic. Don't treat porn as a consumption. Technology can be misused or used. Using porn is not problematic, and let the desire arise to a certain level before you open up any porn material. Also, see something that mimic reality, that starts with clothes on. Maybe it take 10 minutes to undress, and maybe another 10 min to undress from panties and bras. That's the material one should seek out for. And don't hurry for climax, be close to climax for a certain time, imagine what she smells like, how warm her body is, how her ears and lips tastes like when you kiss them. Imagine you lock directly into her eyes instead of a screen. Observe her whole body, what's her feet look like, what her knees and shoulders look like. How is her hair, how is she breathing. Don't let anything about her go unnoticed. Now, when you finally ejaculate, it will be a strong one, and your brain is unable to tell if it was a real sexual meeting or not. And afterwards you don't have that quilty feeling as often comes after real one night stands. All those worries, did I exploit her, did I pick up a disease, will she become in love with me, will I get emotions for her. Did I sell out my integrity. What to do, how to behave when I run into her in future. All those worries you never get with porn! But consume it wisely, and a partner is always MUCH better of course. But porn as a spice in life is pretty damn good given that you don't have to deal with any post anxiety! And yes, as many already pointed out, don't always use porn, use only your fantasy and imagination most of the time. But when you really crave for that spice, use that luxury that internet brings! Over and out!
  16. Yup, it would surprise if I am on a wrong path. I felt too much joy and happiness for too long to be suspicious. It's just interesting that bonds to other peoples means so much to must humans, where as I'm almost complete indifferent to it.
  17. Am I normal as a person that has no desire for belonging. I feel I belong to the universe and myself. Too me that is enough. I have needs for interaction though just as anybody else. But there is no need for a particular one. I love to be here to discuss self development for example, I like being on a discord for discussing crypto trading which is an interest I have. I play tennis in a club every week, great social interaction, but I don't have private friendships with them(which I like) I also like to run into strangers, I am open and warm as a person so I often go deep very quickly with people. In fact, I'm very interested of people. And when it comes to love affairs, I love the process of getting to know a "new" person intimate as well as psychologically. But I have no desire really to hold on. I am not interesting in building a future with anyone, I love to live on my own. I never feel lonely with myself, only in wrong company. So, I like to have people around me, work colleges, tennis colleges, strangers, a love affair here and there. I'm not in my 20's any longer, so its not a youth thing, it's just how I feel that I am. However, even though I'm very happy with my life and like it the way it is, and hope it continue in the same way.. ..but I can't help thinking that something might be wrong with me, I don't see others that is like me really. Bohimians maybe, but I don't feel like a bohemian. I like responsibility and work ethics. I also feel quilty for not having any interests in family business, I don't have a family on my own, but this quity feeling is mostly regarding my parents and my brothers family. I just don't have any desire. I don't have anything against them, I would like them to be as happy as they can. But socialising with them..I have not the slightly desire for that. Although they have always been very generous with me, money wise. And they have always kept promises and have dinner ready whenever I like to come home. They might not get my personality since they are very practical and I'm not. I am a spiritual person that likes music, art, sports, none of that caught my family interested. It's most about practical issues in my family such as work, house, family, economy, gossip. But this is not about my family, I shouldn't have write so much about that. This thread is about if it's normal not to long for deep belonging to others. As I started, I think I got deep belonging with universe and myself and feel like that is enough. And since I enjoy my life it shouldn't be any problem I guess. But what if I suppress something in me, like fear or unsecurity for belonging subconsciously? But then I wouldn't feel happy with my life, right? Or is my happiness a sign of mania in order to hide me from a past trauma or something? What do you think?
  18. Thank you! I feel so too!
  19. Haha, Trump has a great personality! Too bad he didn't want to team up with Ali G to make ice-cream gloves!
  20. Leo, in fact I like that you have a blind spot here. That makes you human as well, that's comforting to know. Compassion doesn't work at that level of the game. Cunningness is an art at that stage. It's strictly political, no room for compassion, love and wisdom in that sense movies can present. Just look at the Abraham Lincoln movie, truly great, but it wasn't a portrait of what the real AL was like. Trump, unlike the democrats has indeed a true intention to make world a better place, particular US (of course) The whole refugee crisis is nothing but a big cynical game to gain and continue their power(democrats) It's about buying votes, divide and conquer, lawyers and other powerful groups earning money, loosen up boarders for corporate business and number of other reasons. It has nothing to do with helping or to create a free world for the sake of the people. If helping was priority, help would be carried out in their home countries. We could help 5000 starving people for every refugee that migrate to our countries. There is a gigantic amount of people that lack basic need like food, shelter and fresh water. Trump know he is a result of the peoples demand for a change in the corrupt political structure, as well as the corruption in media and the rest of the establishment. He's the peoples puppet so to speak and he accept that role. He is NOT a megalomaniac, rather the polar opposite. But it looks as if it is the other way around if you don't have any insights in the structure at the very top as well as the cunningness game that has to be played correct in order to have any traction on the system. Forget about compassion, that is a thing behind the scenes and something he feels towards the people of US.
  21. Well, Germany lost the war so of course there is no fair picture of him in history books. Maybe truth is between what you say and what history books tell us. Jews handle banking since christians and muslims were not allowed to loan money with interests according to the bible/koran. So it was a natural move for jews to take on banking. In historical Europe jews were not allowed to own properties like land, factories, production materials. Yet another reason for them to start business in banking and media. Jews are not more greedy or power-hungry per se. It's just that banking and media are influential institutions in any society. Clearly Hitler was deluded regarding jews. Individual differences are always bigger then between ethnic groups. Hitlers national socialistic party was also totalitarian, no fair opposition were allowed. And all collectivistic forms of socialism is evil in its roots, even if it not starts out as evil, it always becomes that in the end anyway. Collectivism, specially socialism harms people. And there can be no excuse for all the killings in concentration camps, numbers and numbers of jews, other minorities and disabled germans were killed. Having said that, Hitler was very much in touch with life as you describe it. Very caring towards those why were close to him. He was charming, humours and had a big heart for animals. He adored their authenticity and innocence! Hitler had much respect for sophisticated art and literature, he loved the pure in life. Integrity and honesty were important to him. And he cared about his people in a genuine way, unlike todays politicians. He was probably narcissistic, he had probably difficulties with intimate relationships, because he identified himself as the big leader. He couldn't step down from that role and be innocent and vulnerable with a women and making love as we ordinary people have no difficulties to do. He offered many wise peace proposals that was constantly turned down by England and France. You see? He was a very complex character like most of us, with both evil and good traits. He was both close-minded and a genius visionary. There is no doubt he had a big heart, just see how he shake hands with young germans (hiltler jugend) at the time, so full of respect, he honoured them deeply. And you can see from pictures when he smiled that there was a warm heart and humor in him. Yet he was one of the most efficient mass murderers through out history. Reality has many dimensions to it, its not that easy as "Was he good or bad?"
  22. You right! No pressure on Leo! The Hitler-rant was pretty funny btw.
