I agree! Have you read my thread "The discrepancy is infinite"? Anyway, I had the destructive systems of society and economics in mind when I wrote it. We should really work to liberate ourself as species, but again, what is is, and what happens happens. There no one to do anything about it really.. -

@DocHoliday I only have one objection with reality. I don't like the fact that it's possible to carve out so many mundane things out of that white sheet of paper, to use Leo's metaphor. Too many mediocre and mundane things going on in the world, don't you think? If reality is creation, we should have more of creativity in the world. Humans are like sleeping sheeps, how come the creative spark is so absent in human race when the creative spark in reality is infinite! -

Yes, but that unnecessary suffering(as long as it last) were also bound to happened, right? So any idea like.."Why didn't I get this earlier on, that would have spare me years of suffering" That very thought is only possible if you still believe in some old paradigm of reality? Since that suffering was bound to happen because there were no one there that could have understand this earlier? -

@Patang @DocHoliday @egoless VERY good responses from all of you! Thank you so much! @DocHoliday I'll definitely check out your post on "reality grants everything" This is a very interesting topic I think. -

@Ether Hehe, are you ironic? Of course why-questions of dual nature like those you just asked can be answered, but here we have a tricky non dual component to deal with! -

Very good! Thanks! Would you mind giving response to my other thread about the "why-question"? I would appreciate that! -
Today we saw Leo's second video containing a trip report on 5-meo-dmt. This was his deepest awakening so far, he even call it a total awakening or perfect awakening. The search is over from his perspective, from now on the meditation sessions will not contain any search, just dissolving into being infinite. Being infinite is the perfect meditation so to speak. But I noticed that in this episode, LOVE was not present in the way it was last time around(sept 2016) I thought that the deepest layer of existence was UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. It can't be more profound that unconditional love I thought. But love might be arbitrary, something you even have to transcend to go further down the rabbit hole of what's absolutely true. In fact, this is maybe precisely what Leo did, since this awakening was deeper this time around compare to his first experience with 5-meo-dmt. And if you compare the two episodes you'll notice that love is the only greater difference between the two. In his first video he really highlighted the aspect of unconditional love as a fundamental building block for the absolute, whereas in this one, that aspect was completely absent or transcended. First episode with a 5-meo-dmt trip report. (30 mg up the nose) Second episode with a 5-meo-dmt trip report. (10 mg rectal)

You're saying that unconditional love is more then sex? Or not even sex at all??? Don't be harsh man, realise that not everyone is on the same level of understanding as you. Other than calling me clueless, it was a great answer though! Thanks. And congrats the the silver medal in the olympic hockey tournament, only seconds away from gold, beating Sweden, Canada and almost the russians as well. -

Let's not talk about who YOU truly are, but what humans truly are! I am quite perplex when I think about it. It's like humans experience reality in two different planes(dimensions), without no bridge or link between them... ...the infinite and the finite. Thus humans can only experience one part of themselves at the time, and that part doesn't even know there is another part/aspect to be experienced within the human nature. It's like humans are bound to have a constant blind spot to half of its nature. Think about it, as soon as humans are involved in mind activity, in duality mode so to speak, when the human mind are active, concentrating at something other then itself(duality). It might be thought-activity or some physical activity. (Involved in thinking, analysing or manipulation of reality). In this duality mode(mind), the human is not even aware of the other side(nature) of itself, the non dual state that is, the infinite nature. This is the blissful nature of oneness or wholesomeness, where everything is complete, thus no presence of mind/mind activities are possible. This state basically correspond to the consciousness that are present when the mind has dissolved (traced itself back) into pure awareness (limitlessness). At this state there is no form, no nothing. Just peace, happiness, truth, love and beauty but of course way beyond all of those concepts! All there is to this state, is just awareness knowing itself. In this enlightened state, there's no awareness of anything like a mind/mind activity, just awareness of itself. The two "halves" doesn't know about each other. But both are contained within the human nature. Nothing unites the two, no bridge or link so to speak. Humans go trough their daily life constantly unaware(naive) to half of its own nature! Now that's awkward! Does this make sense or does it sounds like gibberish to you? Regards Markus

MarkusSweden replied to WildeChilde's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@WildeChilde I can explain what he meant.. Follow me.. Imagine that you somehow got magical skills and that you could fly. Just out of your desire or wants to fly you can do it. And if you take of from the ground right now and decide to fly, you would experience that! You see? The absolute/infinite consciousness doesn't discriminate anything! EVERYTHING is possible. Even impossible things are possible. Since if you did a magical fly tour, the absolute would not refuse to experience that. Absolute has NO resistance, it can be and experience EVERYTHING. And it's not even hard to imagine, since if you somehow know how to pause physical laws for your body so that you could fly, you know just by imagine that, that your consciousness wouldn't shut down because "it's impossible to fly". No, it would experience that impossible event. Do you see how the absolute is "EVERY POSSIBILITY" now? Regards -
I love Jim, his early movies are pieces of art! The pet detector in action is hilarious. He seem to be smart and friendly. I saw an old episode with Charlie Rose. Rose went home to Jim, and they had such a good meeting, such an inspiration. Jim told rose how love was the only possibility if two people are open with each other. Thats true! I love that enlightenment not only gain reputation from gurus around the world, preaching for those who already buy the message. With Jim it's different. People might be interested and look into it. Not having anything to do with the spiritual journey before. More celebrities should advocate enlightenment. Well, Operah does, but it's more like her guests, not her really. However, as much as I loved him as a comic actor, as sceptical am I of him as a famous model of enlightenment. It's like he's too hysterical. Too much of that "No Jim Carrey exist"-non sense, even though he's right, he turning it into a weird event or something. Enlightenment is not a stage kind of freak show or laughter. To me, enlightenment is about deep deep feelings of impersonal consciousness! It's impersonal consciousness going full circle to become fully intimate and deeply personal on an existential level. It's peace, like blissful peace, so quiet, so long from Hollywood and glamour. So, is this beloved and intelligent man right for us!?? I'm not sure, it might harm the mass adoption of enlightenment by normies in the years to come.. 2020-2030 What do you think guys?

Great! That was my point! I only contradicted Osho to make his point even more clear. Of course I love this teachings from Osho. A purposive life is the life of a slave. A life without any purpose is playful. -Osho Wonderful. -
Although I love Osho, he's absolutely wrong here. He seem to advocate joyful activities like dance, song, love, beauty and other nonsense that doesn't serve any purpose at all! If children are this deluded, that's not the end of the world, but any grownup should know better. Joy doesn't bring food to the table and doesn't give you an authoritarian personality for other people to respect. To any sane man, life is about having a real purpose, to take responsibility, to bring control and order to society in exchange for other peoples respect! A man who stands by his life purpose in a stoic way without being mislead to happiness will gain good reputation, much so deserved. That's a man to honour, worthy of his status, a man who refuse all that joy-nonsense to stand proud by his purpose instead. Apparently, even the big masters that we tend to respect the most, like Osho, can be wrong sometimes.. ..here's an example of that. This was really a bad day at work for Osho, to say the least.

Give me four and they'll build a pyramid. Give me five and they'll make one an outcast. Give me six and they'll reinvent prejudice. Give me seven and in seven years they'll reinvent warfare. Any of you familiar with the mary and jane metaphor? It's a popular metaphor that Rupert Spira tells his audience in basically every satsang he hold. Anyway, the metaphor is that Mary(metaphor for consciousness) falls asleep and start dreaming she is Jane in the streets of London. Now, Jane experience herself as a separate self, but when she starts investigate who she really is, she finds out she is not a separate self (jane) in London, but that she was Mary all the time. Everything was just Mary, including all the objects and other subjects in London, all was just a dream in Mary's mind. This is the metaphor Rupert often tells us, it looks like a conventional dream. And it only include ONE subject(jane). If I apply this metaphor to our reality, that means Mary(consciousness) "falls asleep to herself" and dream she is Markus in a country called Sweden in a world called earth. But going with that metaphor I end up with solipsism, right? I don't believe this of course, but isn't the metaphor lame in comparison to how great Rupert is otherwise? And what is the most effective argument to debunk solipsism?
-
MarkusSweden replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No guarantee, but if I'm wrong, then we have to go with solipsism, and that's madness! And you can't find any trustworthy teacher that not share my assumption that the waking state is a SHARED dream. Therefore, my question to Leo is legit. -
MarkusSweden replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura The whole point of this thread was to shred some light on one aspect that I think you and Rupert Spira don't give a fair amount of attention to.. In your Dream episode two weeks ago(which I loved) as well as in all the Spira episodes when he talks about the waking state dream and compare it to conventional dreams at night. Both of you don't highlight enough that the waking state dream is a SHARED dream, whereas the conventional dreams at night are private and happens only to ONE mind, not to several billion minds as this waking state dream. I can't understand why we don't talk more about this fact. For example, lets say you do some "important" science for the world and humanity in this waking state dream, and then you wake up, laughing that it was just a dream. All of your "important" science had no importance what so ever, except the enjoying part of doing it, since enjoying experiences are always valuable, but your science had no importance as such, since it was just a dream. However, that's only true from your perspective since you're awake from this waking state dream. But seven billion other minds are still dreaming the waking state dream, and to them your science might have a HUGE impact and importance. Whereas in a dream at night, if you do science, it had no importance what so ever after you wake up, since you were the only one having that particular dream. I'm almost prepared to argue that the waking state dream can be reclaimed as REAL reality again due to the fact that it's a SHARED dream, with so many minds involved in it. You see what I'm saying here Leo? -

Here's what Leo wrote a few hours ago and it serves as a good metaphor I think.. "Reality is an infinite singularity. It is ONE object. On the surface of this "mega-object" are sculpted an infinite number of surfaces. One of those surfaces is your present experience. This object contains every experience ever possible simulateously. There is no consciousness. There is only this object. You are it. But right now you only identify with being a tiny part of the whole. Imagine a giant fur ball, where each hair is a creature such as yourself. This ball contians all creatures and non-creatures alike because it is infinitely hairy. It looks precise as your present experience shows. You are presently being one of those hairs. But you are also the entire ball because the ball is made of nothing but hairs." My elaboration and interpretation: Imagine that this hairball exist within a space. Of course this is just imaginary since the fur ball is everything that is. The added space just serves to explain my insight conceptually. Anyway, if the fur ball move upwards in the space it will increase its consciousness as a whole, it raise its collective consciousness so to speak. And in a corresponding way, it lower its consciousness if the fur ball moves downward in this imaginary space. Now, "you" as a hair are tied to the hairball. And given this circumstances you can't improve "your" consciousness that much if you work upon yourself. Maybe you can improve your position within the hairball, but that's pretty much it. Lets say you can improve your consciousness by a length of a hair to continue this metaphor. But people spend their lifetime on improving their "individual" consciousness to gain enlightenment or whatever, not realising they are on a hopeless journey as long as they are tied to the fur ball as a whole. Working on raising consciousness is a great thing though, probably the greatest way to spend time. But to me its obvious that their is only two approaches to do this in a way that will work and be rewarding. 1. You stop working on "yourself" and working on the whole. This way you work upon the collective consciousness and as a result you move the whole fur ball upwards, if you raise the whole, that means you raise your individual hair as well(since you are tied to the whole). You will end up with a greater gain in consciousness for "your" hair then what you've done if you only worked to improve "yourself"(your own hair). This is very much Leo's path as I see it. He works mainly on the whole, now planning to do traveling to meet people as a compliment to actualized.ord, forum and youtube teachings. 2. Here you need to cut all the ties with the whole in order to work only to raise consciousness in your individual hair so to speak. This way "you" will make huge gains in consciousness, but you can't relate to the whole anymore, it will start to look bizarre from your point of view. It will even start to look bizarre to see people communicate, you are beyond that, you are above thoughts. You will feel complete as this path continues, with intimate connection to impersonal consciousness and intuition, with absolutely no demand for anything the whole has to offer. By cutting ties here, I mean to choose radical solitude. You will no longer have any traction upon the whole(society/people). Your consciousness is above what runs the show on lower levels(the whole) Leo and others, please elaborate! Thanks!
