The globalist era that currently dominates in the western world and in Europe particular... is that a sign of humans waking up? That we finally start to elevate our consciousness where love, tolerance, truth and peace are natural to us? Or are the mechanisms behind globalism more cynical then the idealistic assumption above?

@Joseph Maynor I see what you are saying. But one good thing about Leo(among many others) is that you never have to guard yourself from what he says, simply because he always stand naked and speak his heart. Irony and sarcasm aren't in his awareness at all, thanks god! Unless for a few (bad ) jokes at this forum, but they were perfectly innocent and harmless. There should be no doubt about his pure honesty in everything he teach. That's why we love him, he's not manipulating at all. It's great to questioning though, we shouldn't take anything just for granted.

The highest purpose of art is to inspire. The same goes for people, right? Just as with art, the greatest thing you can do for others is to inspire them, don't you think? What else can you do? What else can you do for any one but inspire them? Or is there anything else that provides higher value that that, that you can give to others, given that basic needs are fulfilled(food, shelter and such)

@Faceless If you stop the movement of thoughs, you will find that LOVE and PEACE are the very same. When the movement of thought stop, not only love and peace are the same but love, peace, truth and beauty are all four of them the very same. But too see that you have to stop movements thoughts. Isn't is so, Yes or no?

From one perspective this whole spiritual thing we do is such a nonsense, so utterly stupid. Self enquiry? Lol. To keep analysing oneself is one sure way to come across emotional pain. Simply living. Just simply live an ordinary life is all you should ask for. On the other hand, this spiritual thing is really the pinnacle of everything. It really put perspective to everything else. The whole game of life, all the struggles, all the sufferings of people. All desire for carrier, material stuff, a great partner, politics, all societies and all civilisations seem so stupid and meaningless. So utterly dumb and crazy. This whole ego-game is laughable, but so is the spiritual game as well. Humans are like those sphinx's in Egypt, with a human head(metaphor for consciousness, no self) and a body of a lion(metaphor for ego, desire, separate self) Like a syntax error, that's what we are. Sometimes I feel life(human life) is nothing but a joke. Evolution can't be proud.

Agree 100% Even the whole game of humor almost disappear totally at higher consciousness. The profound love and beauty overthrown every cynical perspective. And all humor need the cynical to some degree. And specially sarcasm and irony that is super cynical. No one benefits, least them who use it.

Ok, I'll change it if I decide to continue to hang around here. People are great here(even you ). So much insights, but you got to cut yourself free from all of that at some point. And I think I start to reach that point. You reach a point when you have heard it all I guess. It should be a sub forum just for friendly chat I think. I don't think it's popular to just socialise, it should be free from that, but a sub forum for random everyday things would be great. The friendships you gain with few of the members are the only valuable thing after you've heard it all(All spiritual ideas and models that is) I think

Is No-self just another delusion? Well, you can't really put it like that. Existence happens in two reality planes simultaneously, there is no link or bridge between them other then that consciousness intersect with both of them. One plane corresponds to God- Love, beauty, peace, no separate self, absence of time. The other plane corresponds to Power, logic, ego, time, competition, thoughs, manipulation(not referring to lies specifically, even the most nobel planning is manipulation to some degree) What ever "you" experience you have a blind spot. That't the constraint for life, you must be half blind at any given moment

@Faceless Speaking of love, is it possible to be wise and in love at the same time? Or is wisdom mind and love absence of mind? And therefore not compatible? I feel like wisdom and truth goes together, just as love and truth goes together. But wisdom belong to the faculty of the mind it seems? And love belong to the faculty of NO mind, hence the faculty of nothingness. Please help me out here. Also@Faceless Thanks for your long and beautiful PM to me. By success I mean things that give you true development and wellbeing to your true self. Beauty is actually equal to Love, just seen from anorher perspective. Can you really do or succeed with anything of importance without Love/Beauty? No pure valuable thing comes from other sources Then love. And forget about truth! There is no big truth in the world where the polar opposite is not true as well! Truth is full of paradoxes and a matter of perspectives! Forget about it! All truths in the world add up to one big lie, so just forgot about it! But care about Love, without it, nothing that you truly wants is possible! Any thoughts?

I just had lunch, and I eat too quickly with too much carbonates I think. Anyway I went tired but I started to write on a PM to @tsuki I tried to concentrate, then my head doze off for a millisecond or something, then I continue to write, and it happened again, and then procedure continued until I decided to write the PM later. Anyway, during these micro naps, because it was so brief, I could almost notice the absence of everything, even absence of consciousness, like a short span(millisecond or something) of absolute nothingness, not nothingness in a new age fashion, but REAL nothingness, like a total blank. Like death. Maybe we are "dead" when we are at deep sleep, or are we conscious but we fail to recognise it because mind fail to grasp the "absence-of-mind-consciousness." ?
