one holds what he believes to be his, like a prisoner who drags an iron weigh, with a chain tied to his leg. should he let go of any of it, he'll know what freedom really is.

Indeed, the path to freedom passes through all layers of illusions. -

i am nothing as i am now, unchanged, unseparated, infinite absolute. -
Patang replied to Patang's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
indeed, everything that has changed is the "self," which is not the real you. the real you never changes, never existed, it does not exist and never will. this is why "people do not change". -

@Faceless indeed. judgment is what the mind does. -

@eputkonen of course you can evaluate things and events as good or bad, but the thing is you do not have to. and, lack of judgment means that you have no opinion about things or events. -

@tsuki thanks for your addition regarding the mechanics of thoughts. regarding to the ego, gee i don't know, i can only refer to it as a concept, as a label, not something that is real, simply because i can't feel it, so to speak. actually, for me, all things are merely concepts, you know what i'm talking about. -

@tsuki bullseye besides, a contentment that is felt here is absolute. -

i only referred to the one closest to our existence as human beings, not to all the rest of the illusions. this is how communication among humans is made. but you know that, don't you -

@tsuki nothing is divine about reality, and it has nothing to say about anything. i know where thoughts/feelings come from (internal) and where insights come from (external). thoughts produce beliefs, insights produce realizations. there are layers upon layers of illusions, so to speak, and i refer to the one closest to our existence as human beings. i try to be precise in what i say, but under the limitations of language and of myself, i sometimes find it difficult to do so nowadays. -
Patang replied to Patang's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@tsuki as i see it, thoughts are merely an ego/mind interpretations to the perceived reality, while insights are being received from the nature of reality itself. it's what lays behind the illusion itself. -

@Neo if there is no question about it what so ever, and nothing can change it, then it is an insight. you see, when something is a belief, it is always being challenged deep deep inside. -

yes, what i'm looking at, in it's core, is truth. i'm truth and so are you. the truth is what there is, and what is around it, is merely an illusion. the truth in nothing. -

@Joseph Maynor it's a bit tricky, you see, an idea is a concept developed in a process. however, this topic is an insight, emerged in one glance. nowadays, i'm not looking for ideas, i don't think about concepts, i'm just looking at what is in front of me. @Faceless yes i can accept that, it's like the difference between sawing and cutting. @Monkey-man It is not about being sure of the correctness of an insight, it's about knowing that it's correct. if you're not sure then it's not an insight. -

i don't know how to refer to the ego/mind concept anymore, it is just a label for me. -
done, my journey is done, i'm done, it felt like something was totally removed from me, like a heavy burden was lifted from my shoulders. i'm familiar with that feeling, when i continuously felt lighter, it happened before, but not this time, not like that. now i feel as if i could hover around, i'm totally not grounded, so to speak. years ago, the name by which i chose to be called, patang, which is a kite in sanskrit, symbolized me that i could fly anywhere, without being tied to anything. now however, no name can define me, nothing can define me. i know the exact moment it happened. It happened a little after i answered a question asked by one of the members here (deep, as i recalled), what to do when you feel that the "self" has gone. before that, i felt that i was just before the end, on the verge of discovering something i had been looking for years now. i knew that by sharing my insights with you guys, i would be drawn toward the edge, so thats what i did. as much as my dancing with each of you progresses, what was about to be unfold, was perceived crystal clear. the big picture of what was done here by me, in infinite details, is finally revealed to me now. the aftermath of it all, is perfectly closes into itself, and disappear into oblivion. everything that was done here, had to be done in the precise way it was done, shaped and reshaped in a perfect synchronicity. is the way to enlightenment straightforward or easy? the answer is certainly not! everything i have ever knew is worthless now, everything i have ever been familiar with is useless now, every imprints and beliefs, every opinion, judgment and criticism, all my fears, all that was me, was thrown straight out of the window, torn apart and thrown into oblivion. it was a long and agonizing work sometimes, but then it was done effortlessly. it was a no-return journey to a place i only glanced at from time to time. if you wish to see how reality is perceived in my eyes, then it looks like this. the visual (matirial) scene is much the same, but there is no event causality, events are not been triggered by other events. an event is just an occurrence, and it happens only in time and in a way that it should happen. looking back, i can see why is that so. all of this is just an illusion of all the possibilities in the inevitability field, which is the true nature of reality. there is no point, nor purpose or meaning to anything. no usual thoughts nor feelings, no questions nor answers, nothing to stand on, nothing to cling to, just gracefully hovering through the streams of occurrences, empty minded. no special powers, no happily ever after, just pure joy. the most profound feeling i have right now, is that i don't care about anything at all, even writing these words suddenly seems hard to me somehow, i'm taking long breaks, and it takes me hours to do it. it's a little confusing because sometimes i feel like doing it, and sometime i simply don't. i don't care if i would drop dead right now, simply as that, knowing that a final death is not an option. i'll probably still be available here from time to time, to share some insights, and to answer some questions. but i promise you nothing and i don't really know if it will happen at all. now i have to adjust anew to reality, which seems now much different from what it was. love you all, unconditionally, just keep going and let go of it all. keep looking inside and you will find it, it was there all along.

@Blissout that was my answer to you. the future does not exist. -

@Monkey-man sheer joy without any purpose. @starsofclay yes, the game continues, level 2... @Blissout SHYLOCK: "If you prick us, do we not bleed?". of course there is a physical pain, but it's the body's pain, not mine. suffering is not a direct result of pain, but the interpretation given to it. suffering is a direct result of ego/mind activity (thoughts/feelings) triggering emotions within the body. suffering is not my share. @tecladocasio the only time i used writing as a practice is here, by posting on leo's forums. it worked! -

@Neo didn't find any meaning for those emoticon as they are called. @Hsinav @tsuki @tecladocasio thanks. It's funny, because when i thank you, I'm actually thanking myself, and why should i? there is no purpose or meaning to that. OMG I'm talking nonsense already... madness is ahead... @Shin the i belongs now to my fake personsa. @Nahm infinite love as you familiar with. @tecladocasio the information about self-inquiry is scattered everywhere on leo's site. @Leo Gura leo, i had a different kind dance with you, a stormy one. thanks. ahhh... if all is not enough, in fact, my english got improved a bit. haha -
once you have really started your journey to enlightenment, it cannot be undone. the pace is determined only by your determination do make the journey. according to your determination, this will be the time to attain enlightenment.

yes, yes i know, it is all merely an illusion, but bear with me while i explain how i see it. we come here, born to this reality, living as a human beings, having a human experience in this vast amusement park, and return back to the same place we came from. the vast amount of living beings and their great diversity, can be explained in the balance between the limitation of life sustainability and the infinite possibilities to create life. like an orchestra musicians who can play any musical instrument, limited only by the instruments needed to play a certain musical composition. the outcome of our human experience is our bodily emotions, which are the jewels in the king's crown. this is what we are living for, here in the dreamers garden. when one attains enlightenment, it is like going backstage, seeing the play behind the scene and realizing how it all works, understanding the limitations, and yet comprehending the limitless nature of the absolute. you see, it is like seeing the mechanical components of an old clock, made up of cogwheels, springs and a pendulum (or a balance wheel), to figure out how everything fits together perfectly, allowing a smooth and continuous operation of continuity.

brain researchers hold the theory, that the phenomenon is caused as a result of the differences in a timestamps when an event is been registered, in each of the two cerebral hemispheres. the later event registration, encounters a memory created by the previous event registration, so the event looks like a one that already happened. is it a brain glitch or a glitch in reality? no, not at all. you see, since the brain is merely an illusion, what is really happening is that one is getting a glimpse to a hidden aspect of reality, when the same occurrence is seen in more than one perspective simultaneously. since time is itself an illusion, it is like perceiving reality outside the "normal" timeline. because human beings believe that time exists and is tangible, they perceive the event as having happened before.
