do you know the feeling when you know that no one misses you, no one is waiting for you or expecting anything from you? do you know the feeling when you know that no one thinks of you or feels anything for you? do you know the feeling that you do not miss anyone particularly, do not think about someone especially and do not feel something for someone on a continuous or permanent basis? do you know the feeling that comes from the fact that you no longer separate the inside from the outside as they are one. do you know the feeling that you want nothing, there are no desires or impulses to change reality as you wish. do you know the feeling when you know that time has stopped chasing you? do you know the feeling when you know that your work is done, regarding your life instead of some job. these feelings can be referred from two points of view. one is of misery and suffering and the other of infinite awareness. what is your point of view?

i am much the same as i was before, still feeling my body, the mind is working, thoughts are being fired through, feelings are being blown up inside and sensations are felt in full force. the only difference is that now i know that it is not me who is having all of those life experiences, i am nothing, i'm only watching the one who lives. you see, it's like being in your car, you know, those new ones, an autonomous car, yes, you're taking a ride, watching the scenery, sensing the wind on your face, but hei, you're not the fucken driver! did you know that?

when we were little, we believed that when we closed our eyes, the others stopped seeing us. the older ones chuckled and explained that we could be seen even when our eyes are closed. the funny thing is that this was right all along. when we close our eyes, the illusion of reality turn into its natural state which is nothing, meaning that there is no one to notice us.

as a no-self human being, in order to communicate with the presented reality, i can adopt any false self, with any characteristic i like. i can feel and think like that false self would feel and think, and experience life as different personalities, one at a time. although i know that it is all an illusion and it's running according to plan, i taking nothing for granted, and being grateful for anything there is.

@Nahm not lost nor found, this is a miraculous playground, and i can play with any toy i like. i'm not attached to anything, and nothing can define me. @Serotoninluv i hardly remember how "my" used to be "self" felt. i could not be a bollywood dancer either due to bodily limitations. @Hsinav It's like skydiving where you can sense the wind on your face as it passes through you. -

"you" did not exist before "you" were "born", "now" "you" do not exist and after "your" "death" "you" will not exist. all of "this" does not exist (including this reply). as for "your" question, stop identifying with your "self". -

there can be only one unlimited absolute infinity. another "thing" would limit the unlimited. some call it "god", "consciousness", and so on. actually it's nothing, not a thing... -

there is no meaning to categorizing beliefs as true or not, because they are within the realm of all possibilities. in a non-dual reality, every possibility will exist in accordance with the circumstances that make it possible to exist. -
the hard part of enlightenment is to tell those who loves you that you are no longer the one they love. the one they love is dead now, no longer exists, and you are the one who killed him without their consent.

when you meet someone for the first time, are you sure he existed before your meeting, or you assume so. are you sure he exists at all, or you assume so. does any of the people with whom you have any kind of human relationship really exist, or you assume so. is all the living, growing and inanimate objects in your reality really exist, or you assume so. do you exist at all, or do you suppose so.

when his life environment changes significantly, a series of events takes place in order to prepare him to adapt to the new reality, in order not to change radically his life expectancy, as defined by the rules of the game.

you have a free will as long as you choose to believe it. when you drop that belief, free will dissolves right after? -

@MarkusSweden the only answer to the why-question is because it cannot be otherwise. -

when "no-self", the only way one can refer to himself is with unconditional love, that is because of the lack of judgment and conditions of any kind. when one knows that all is one, how can he refer to others otherwise. -
do you remember, when you were just a child, when you asked for the first time in your life, "who am i?". can you connect to that moment, can you connect with the one who asked it. now, close your eyes and ask again, "who am i?" is it the same one which has not changed at all in all those years since then?

@Hsinav probably my writing was not clear enough. although time is merely an illusion, i temporarily ignored it, for the sake of illustrating the illusion of human existence. how else can i communicate through the screen of illusions. -

@Joseph Maynor indeed @Hsinav -

@Joseph Maynor yes, shit happens to all of us from early childhood this is not an opinion, this is a fact and it's ok. this is all about the human experience. -

the mechanics of an illusion -
Patang replied to Patang's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ether there is nothing to prove. @Joseph Maynor indeed. @John Iverson @Faceless ok, i understand your point, let's dive into the depths of illusion. when we imagine an object, we activate a process of thinking that realizes what we imagined. when we see an object through our eyes, the understanding of what is in front of us is also a thought process. and that is precisely the point, seeing an object is not a thought process, only the interpretation we give it. the same thing happens when we think of an idea and when we get an insight. -
the similarity between them is that you do not know where they both came from. in one instant they both appeared out of nowhere. the difference between them is that thoughts are a distinct process, gradually constructed and matured into an idea. the process is accompanied by internal questions and answers that guide the way, like a flowchart. the thinker believes that the idea is true, but he does not know it, and he must verify it against the perceived reality. insight on the other hand is not a process, it is a realization obtained at once. there are no questions or answers, no examination is made to validate the concept and it is accepted indisputably as correct.

@pluto the questions why did or would i just show up now? and Where was i these millions or billions of years up until this point? are pointless because time is merely an illusion "outside the reality" that human beings experience, which is an illusion by itself. when we are "born" and been exposed to the reality perceived by our senses, to the illusion of existence, we are been taught to accept it by the environment of human beings as real. with time, our belief system is being built and then we are starting to truly believe that this is the case, we "forget" what we are and what it all is, submerged in the illusion, living in a dream. -
