Im sometimes surprise by Leo's comments, you think he would be aware of the dangers of climate change and not shrug it off like that, being a well-read person and all... 2 degrees of climate change could change our entire civilzation as we know it. Floods that submerge entire coastal lines, migrations in the millions because of areas becoming uninhabitable, crop failures, old viruses coming back because of melted ice caps, important species dying out. This could happen in the next 10-20 years, our lifetime!!! Considering he has such a big audience it seems kind of irresponsible.

Dont misunderstand me, Im not knocking any achievements. It depends on your perspective. It is a fact that Sub-Saharan Africa hasnt had many empires, you can pretty much count them on one hand, North Africa is different, they have been going hard for 5000 years. The reason why is like I said earlier, the Sahara that cut them off from the rest of the world and the Congo which barely Europeans could trek through until they started using malaria medicine and boats to trek around the continent.

I don't really read history books yet, Im just getting started (World history is so vast) so Im just learning the basics of every event right now, later on I will choose maybe about 10 books to do a deep dive into the most interesting eras (or my favourites). So nowadays I just search the internet for all the info I can find, Youtube, Wikipedia, Geacron for maps of different eras, doesnt matter, as long as I get the gist. Favourite History Youtubers are probably Fire Of Learning, Flashpoint, Ryan Reeves, I also like watching a guy called Terry, hes a history teacher reacting to videos, hes a chill dude. But I've created a a little system for myself after a lot of trial and error that I think finally works decent. Basically I create a Powerpoint for myself with pictures from eras and events and make little points with information that outline the basics of the events. My ultimate goal is to have all of it in my head, haha, crazy ambition I know!

Thanks, guys! Learning history has definitely changed my perspective on myself, my country and my society. Probably in more ways than I realize. Just two years ago when I started I was almost completely ignorant of world history.

Its a perspective. I dont find it very useful, I dont really believe anything matters, but that doesnt mean Im a nihilist, nihilism is very dark and I dont see the point in moping around all day, create a happy life for yourself instead.

But thats just society in general, like I said, noone is forcing you to wear pants, there is nothing morally wrong with being naked, yet you put on your pants in the morning without even thinking about it. Perhaps Hijab is no different, they just think that is so obvious that women should wear it, it feels weird not to, and then they make up excuses as to why women who dont wear hijab are sexualised immoral brainwashed westerners.
