Conspiracy theories used to be kind of fun and a curiosity 10 years ago, now theyve been become bloated and toxic and can/has lead to disaster. The WHO has classified anti-vaccination as a major global health threat, this is in very large part due to conspiracy theories. Not to mention that conspiracy theories lead to paranoia and outward projection, which is not the goal of a self-actualizing person.

Well known systems are easier to learn about for beginners since there is already alot of information about them, to my knowledge there is not much to find about "Spiritual seeking systems" unless you want to start a new sub-field.

Youre probably split between identifying with your religious mother and your own needs. So you get a sexual need, orgasm and then "become" your mother and beat yourself up for it. I usually dont like Freud but this is a case where it sounds like your Id and Super Ego are in conflict. Work on yourself psychologically like the others have said. Is it a weakness to want to breath too? To want to eat? What makes sexual drive so special? Why is it so bad?

It takes an extreme amount of meditation to reach those states and they probably wont last. Meditation is important, dont get me wrong, but its a tool, for deeply hidden biases there are better tools. Deconstructing thought patterns helped me overcome social anxiety, so I know this works first hand.
