  3. theres no amount of time you should finish a book, ive finished books in 3 days and some take 3 months, as long as the book gives you something of value
  4. I dont know, I just want a solution that lasts beyond the substance in my bloodstream. I believe moooost people have the ability to solve even their deepest problems by awareness and self-reflection... and tons of patience... It may take you a year to even start feeling a tiny bit better... Is that worth it?
  5. Also changed my view on society, I used to be to critical towards society and government but now I realize its importance and even beauty. I would rather live my comfy life protected by laws and government than live in the wild getting mauled by bears.
  6. People live in subjective bubbles hypnotized by their own thought patterns. One of many. Now of course, by people I also mean myself.
  7. Went in for social anxiety, talked alot and got my thought-patterns challenged by the therapist, did some CBT on myself. I feel that Im about 75% "healed", whatever that means, pretty damn amazing. Used to very on guard in public and social situations, now Im way more relaxed. In general I feel like all Ive done is become aware of my patterns... Thats all... Awareness is curative... But I needed some help to see what those patterns were.
  8. Talk therapy, all the way. Has helped me enormously, been doing it for 4 months, but having some meditation as background helps alot. Medication puts a bandaid on the problem and can you make easily addicted. I would only recommend meds in very very rare cases as in crippling depression. ps. Not medical advice.

  13. You need to set some boundaries for yourself, what is it you get out of these experiences? To me it seems like youre making yourself suffer. I used to be like you, I really tried to like smoking but just in the past year Ive just totally given up, I hate being the introverted, paranoid spaced out dude who cant even talk to people because I took two tokes, no thanks.
  14. I think I have a mild form of synesthesia, I see vague abstract colorless shapes in my minds eye when I hear sounds and music. I dont have to force it, its been happening all my life I just didnt realize it. If I look closely at the shape I could probably draw it on a paper, but its quite dynamic and changes shape a bit as I try to look at it. Do you guys and gals have this too, or maybe you see colors from sound? Do you think its useful? Or maybe some other thing thats not audio-visual?
  15. You got paranoia from the THC, dont smoke, weed is not a "soft" drug, for some people it can mess up their head when theyre in that state, stick to mindfulness or some other substance that makes you feel better.
