I want to have this space to write down things about the complete surrender of everything I know about life and myself to this present moment, the oneness and bliss that flows like a river through my heart. This isn’t a rational choice for a deep voice within calls me everyday to let go of all limitations, and remain steadfast in the seat of my soul even if fears arise. And all of the time, I will take take each step gently, softly and with kindness. Beyond all barriers, dimensions, time, space, forms, thoughts, this world as I see it, beyond the “I” for no reason whatsoever!

That was a lovely read Gods Love is always here. So too is the empty space of your awareness. Sat-chit-Ananda. Truth-consciousness-Love. That is the nature of reality! You got it. In your meditations you can reach this. Have a blessed day. -
Use a genuine meditation technique: https://channelhigherself.com/blog/types-of-higher-self-meditation-practices/ The importance can’t be overstated for the changes it has brought in my own life.

I understand now Leo! When I talked about enlightenment I was always referring to stage 10. No wonder I was misinterpreting you. So am I correct in saying that picture #10 (Sahaja samadhi) represents ultimate mastery over the mind, body and emotions; and the equivalent of stage tourquiose? -
I have started the beginning, ground stages of this surrender for around the past week, it has flowed very harmoniously. I have realized that I am free as pure awareness to project myself anywhere, and I don’t need my mind to convince “me” to be in that state. For many months I had been trying to get to the ultimate intellectual conclusion that once and for all made my mind want to dissolve itself. But I learnt that using the mind to make the mind silent was completely ineffective. Instead, I now know experientially that I only need to move my awareness back to my breathe instead of fighting against my thoughts with thoughts. This has lead me to here. A place where being in my breathe to discover the deeper layers of myself may not be my minds or emotions cup of tea (in fact there is a constant subtle resistance) yet the awareness that I am remains completely uneffected by anything external or seperate or dual and so, jumps at this opportunity (or at least some inner part of me; I don’t think awareness jumps, it just is). So there is this magnetic pull back into ego, and it is strong at rare occasions, but mostly gentle. That is all it is. Energy pulling at my awareness, not at all who I am as the awareness. And as I keep proving to myself that I can transcend the ego by remaining in the breathe, it gets much easier overtime. I do believe the easiness reduces greatly at the start as I’m experiencing right now, but like a square root shaped gradient on a graph, it will level out over time I presume. Life has to give some sort of a challenge of course, that’s what makes surrendering meaningful. It is a deep and beautiful experience. Very touching and moving. It’s like putting the emotional and mental body on coffee, because surrender allows emotions and thoughts to heal at a faster rate as described by Matt Kahn on many occasions. My step now is continuing to be in the breathe more. Right now it is about half an hour a day. That will change very fast for two reasons: I know am one hundred percent committed to my spiritual technique, and I see just how free I am to do it. Also I am getting my teacher to make me a guided meditation that I can use everyday, and eating a pure sattvic and balanced diet. I am so very far from my ultimate goal, and after watching the ox herding pictures I understand I have a quantum leap to jump. But I am different than most people, I will never stop until I know the Truth, I will never stop abiding in my breathe in my chest. This part of my mind writing this as well will be transcended entirely. Again bringing Matt Kahn in, all of life is helping us to live in our hearts as unconditionally as God loves us. When anger is triggered it’s another opportunity to grow to new spiritual heights by staying in my breathe. When the thought arises telling me, “You should be doing something else. Why focus on the breathe when you can go make your family happy by creating a nicer looking ego, with a nicer looking plan for the future”, i just go straight back to the breathe, it is the most harmonious that way. Genuinely I intend to stay in my breathe for 100% of the day. I will write when I have achieved this consistently. The biggest barriers (even though there is none when outside the ego) is only the thinking mind which tells me all of the reasons not to be in the heart. It’s not powerful at all compared to my intention. I learnt this today from the higher self, that only a fraction of power is given to the thinking mind, but we retain the overwhelming majority in each moment. With each letting go of a thought a more fundamental and “important” one will arise. Some of which really surprised me. Will I stay centered or seek refuge in the mind? That is the only question. I intend for the former with all my heart and soul, will and creative freedom and power as the Higher Self I am. And so it is.

That’s so lovely. I knew you were a softie for that. @EternalForest Yes go for it. Make sure you do a retreat somewhere supportive. I did it with family last year, and it was distracting to say the least. And remember, the aim is to open your heart up.

@plutoI laughed while reading this because you just perfectly described my life. I keep things very simple at the moment so I can stay in peace. Walks in nature, eating sattvic food, breathe awareness. Although because it is nearing Christmas a good test for you Pluto is to go into the crowded shops and stay in meditative awareness! Black Friday is another good day for it, your soul learns so much from observing the human collective ego. Of course, I’m open as well to living a more turbulent life externally. I love the challenge, but right now it would be too challenging; my mind provides enough.

You can measure your spiritual enlightenment by how quiet your mind naturally is, and how open your heart feels. The heart is meant to always feel warm like a expanding bubble of bliss. When I did SDS or do nothing it didn’t awaken this, my consciousness stayed predominantly in my head where the ego identification is. Then I gave this up after a year of meditating and practiced Matt Kahn’s techniques to stay heart centered and love whatever arises. This lead to experiences of having no body, and feeling the heart blossom basically. Yet I knew there was more, and then I found other teachers that lead me to feeling the movement of air in my chest cavity which is where I’m at. All practices will ultimately lead back to the heart. It’s the only way to reach full enlightenment. Nearly all spiritual teachers have not reached this place, and still have an ego (one that talks and walks in a spiritual way). So I recommend you give up SDS, it isn’t direct. SDS has greatly increased your concentration levels so if you change your meditation to the rising and falling of the chest for 2 hours you would make massive progress. Let go of your emotions, and thoughts right now. Simply feel the breathing chest. The reason people find this challenging is because a doubt will arise about the technique or a fear; don’t listen to it, keep focusing on the breathe even if it says SDS is more effective. This is the most effective technique. It is the gateway to becoming one with your true self which always experiences a steady stream of bliss and love. Enlightenment and seeking begins and ends here. Don’t limit yourself, always stay in the breathing chest. It will reveal its magnificence very quickly. https://channelhigherself.com/blog/types-of-higher-self-meditation-practices/ -
Our diet, the people we live with and see most often, the work we do, the entertainment we watch, anything external including our own ego has no power over us. The ego uses the external world to change its emotions, and thoughts to create a false sense of identity, pointing to everywhere outside of it as the source of its unhappiness. We as pure awareness are completely free in this world. Our emotions can remain pure and stable no matter the food we eat, or from being in a crowd of people who project their own fears onto you. We are completely free, this is the most important thing to find. Any external change is not the answer when we still believe we are the ego, and act from fear. Instead focus ALL of your awareness on who you truly are, and see with your own eyes how your life effortlessly changes as your entire structure of beliefs is dissolved, and all perceived barriers that the ego created. Let go of any desire to change, and remain as you are in the present moment outside of he entire story of thought. You are already perfect, you don’t need to go outside of yourself at all and control every detail of this life. This is living as pure awareness, and not the ego you have your awareness to. Thank you for reading. This was a big insight for me, and lifted lots of luggage I was carrying on my back for years ?

Thank you for doing that! I wish the same great healing for you. -
Eating all or mostly Sattvic food (for your blood type) in limited quantities, while staying in meditative awareness with light exercise is the key. When meditating on the Heart we receive non-physical energy directly from it, as well as in sleep, hence less sleep is required (until the point where you are always conscious even in dreamless sleep). However it should not be a goal, it’s just a byproduct of awakening.

Looks amazing @passerby Replace mindfulness with heart fullness, it would make a big difference. -
“Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” It is best to focus on cultivating more love and compassion in our lives more than anything. The body will die, but our love will always remain. In fact, counterintuitvely it is love which helps us eat a healthy diet; because we have healthy emotions, and can feel the body’s guidance more. And there is no mental barriers

@Charlotte They are your evolution buddies! They are healing the deep emotions within your cells by triggering anger, sadness etc. Thats why I love getting triggered because I know it’s another moment of deep healing. So allow yourself to be triggered, allow the emotion to completely destroy you so you have more space for love. This is the silent journey everyone is on. Many times people have projected their fears on me. One time I was told by my Grandfather that he has reached this state of enlightenment and so he knows exactly what is going on, and then the next moment he says that God dosen’t exist, and I need something external to be happy. I let these words wash over me like a wave of purification, staying in the breathe which allows my confused emotions to release.

@thehero You just want to experience happiness. That’s why you want to be loved and accepted by other people. Cherished, just the way you are. Firstly there is no human who deserves to be lived more than you. But often, this is not the reality because life is teaching you something that will ultimately lead to a deep seated feeling of happiness beyond anything a person can give you. It is making you suffer, getting people to avoid you, because life wants you to find the peace that is already within you that can be accessed right now. Right this second, your very nature is peaceful and blissful, the goal is to become aware of this infinite, radiant being of light that you are, and have been all this time. The only thing that veils this peace and bliss is your thoughts. Thoughts about how lonely I am. Thoughts about how I am not loved, how I feel this sad emotion, and yearn to be seen and heard by another. Let this whole structure go by making your Heart the best friend you never had or the fatherly you always wanted but which never could provide quite enough love. Here is the most practical solution for you. It is called the Ujjiya breathe and i recommend you do it for 5 minutes morning and night at first, making it longer when it feels right. What you do is sit in a comfortable position, relax all of your muscles and then lightly tighten the muscles at the bottom of your throat. Breathe, and you should here something similar to the sound of waves coming in and going out. Now while making you this sound focus on the rising and falling of your chest; the expansion of love and joy for life, and the return to peace and stillness. Focus on the chest no matter what thought arises or emotion for the given time while making that sound. This will begin to open your heart wide open, and silence your mind. Very soon your desire to be loved will naturally disappear as you see that you were the one you were looking for this whole time. Be very dedicated and let the out breathe flow out of its own accord. It will feel uncomfortable! Keep going! Namaste.

Thank you for sharing this. It really coincided at a good time. One where I make that commitment to die by giving up the parts for the whole for no particular reason. It's beyond all reason, the mind is cut from its roots. Nothing remains. “Within me there was a steady flow of undiluted bliss.” ~ Ramakrishna -
@kieranperez You are not meant to know what you want right now in your life, otherwise you would know! Where you are at is perfect. Life is giving you one of the biggest lessons here, to be okay with having no idea what you want and to face all your fears surrounding that projected through the people you love, and your thoughts and emotions. One day you will know exactly what you want, and it won't be you who figures it out. It will be given to you as a random idea, or a strong impulse. So enjoy the experience of not knowing. Own it. Live it. All you can do is accept this, and start the journey of embracing your heart in each breathe you take. Whether you are in your heart or not you can't miss what you are destined to experience which may be a lifetime of having no drive, or maybe in a few years you will want to start a business. But until then, it is wise to remain in your Heart, where dependant on nothing you can feel the Unconditional Bliss that you truly are, that is not dependant on knowing or not knowing, or career. From that place, no question will arise, or doubt or fear about the future if that is what you want to be free from. Or you can stay in your Head and experience the consequences of that, and that is perfect too. These are the 2 primal locations to live from. Change the foundations, and all else will be revealed and given.

Does your life flow, is it easy and mostly effortless and joyous? You don’t need to do any spiritual practice. Really, you can give up all that you are doing right now, and trust more in the present moment. Just keep some awareness in your Heart throughout your day, and you will grow tremendously. It’s about letting go of control, and allowing your Heart to be your guiding light in all endeavors. It will lead you always to greater levels of Love, and act for everyone’s greatest benefit beyond any preconceived ideas I feel free knowing that I am unattached to no “spiritual practice”, diet, exercise, ideology, thoughts etc. Thoughts are the ultimate attachment of all attachments, and only the Heart can heal this, and pull us back home, so learn to stay in your center more and watch your life unfold is my advice; it comes from being in a similar place to you minus the panic attack. Release this pressure off yourself to perform, you are already perfect and complete and have been and will be. And also, the greatest spiritual practices are simple, to center in the Heart being one of them. It’s all you need to do! Feel life through your Heart instead of thinking about life in your head. https://channelhigherself.com/videos/satsang-with-the-self/how-to-stay-motivated-to-do-spiritual-practices-meditation-yoga-etc/ https://channelhigherself.com/videos/satsang-with-the-self/personal-power-breaking-the-patterns-of-ego-control-and-manipulation/ -

@Charlotte Embracing the deepest pain inside of us goes full circle and turns into an experience of peace or spaciousness. If we can become really aware, these emotions sometimes arise out of the blue, which adds to the beauty. It calls me to look at it just like you, to look at this emotion consciously, and feel it as best I can. I was the rabbit whenever I thought something external would bring me happiness which happened many times, lots of unnecessary suffering, all because I didn’t know about the Spiritual Heart. I made changes in the physical mainly like with diets, but that was like plucking leaves off of a tree representing the ego: they grow back. To cut it at the root I later learnt and experienced that maintaining heart centered awareness was the key, like the rising and falling of the chest; and to have the courage to surrender myself more and more everyday to this breathe I hope this helps you so much. The most important change is within!

@Charlotte That was a huge emotional release you had that you were holding onto. It feels utterly expanding, and helps us connect with the deepest layer of Bliss that is behind all of existence. This state you experienced was temporary, but can be more easily achieved by you now. It’s like coming back after a 10 day meditation retreat: if we engage in our thoughts again, instead of remaining steadfast in our heart center we will return back to our original state. But with practice, we can always stay Heart-centered even when we feel uncomfortable emotionally, or with thoughts pulling at or awareness. That is our power, that no matter what, we can focus our awareness anywhere! In my experience, maybe in yours too, it’s often in emotional discomfort that the biggest past pains or hurts are released. When this emotion arises we can say to our Hearts or the place we feel the emotion(from our Hearts), “It’s okay. I know you were innocently hurt, and not seen for the beautiful light that you are and always have been in the past. I accept that I can’t change those facts, but right now, I instead offer you my entire Love, and will be with you now and forever until you are healed by my embrace. I’m sorry i wasn’t there for you before, i didn’t know the pain you were in, I will be now my love”. You are the Heart. You are this brilliant ball of white light that can heal any emotion or thought or person by holding space for it, and speaking to whatever it is as shown above. We are already perfect, everything that is other than that is here to be healed. We first need to heal ourselves by finding that deepest place within ourselves that is perfect deep with our Hearts, and staying there for as long as possible! Look at the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, Matt Kahn, Papaji, Lincoln Gergar, Meister Eckhart, and nisargadatta maharaj. These people have helped my mind see that the Heart is who we are, and that it has the power to heal everything and transmute all fears and doubts held in the chakras. Speak from your Heart, live from your heart, whatever arises, allow it to take you deeper into the Heart if you want to find peace or have ever wondered what life is, or how you are alive beyond all odds. Btw, I love what you are doing with the Therapist. It was a big break through. More to come, lots of tears and crying, and pain, and then joy again, each time you get stronger. I wish you the best with her, and with your own growing relationship with your Self. Being heart centered attracts more discomfort than usual for brief periods because it is healing the blockages in the chakras. The sun takes time to rise in the morning, and so does your ability to stay heart-centered, so take it slow and consistently like a tortoise. I tried to be the Rabbit at first... no doing that again ?
