  1. What Leo is saying is more nuanced than that. "As an epistemological position, solipsism holds that knowledge of anything outside one's own mind is unsure; the external world and other minds cannot be known and might not exist outside the mind. As a metaphysical position, solipsism goes further to the conclusion that the world and other minds do not exist." - Wiki on solipsism. It's more like saying, nobody exists not even you (ego), at least not in the long-term, besides awareness/God and God plays everybody, including everyone mind, almost like a puppeteer master. In addition, you have to understand that you are not separate from God, you are also God itself and so is everyone, but that means there is only one being and that being is you. The whole world is you playing with yourself. It's difficult to explain, but you'll know it when you see it. .... lol on a side note, Leo may need to make a video explaining the difference between solipsism and non duality. @anonymous I think you just need to find what Leo is pointing to with his language.
  2. USA. Home to various religions, ethnicities, and historically, the ground where native Americans went on vision quests. Ever read any Walt Whitman poems? (they're great and indirectly speak of higher conscious states). One of the most developed and open-minded countries. So much beauty can be had right here in the US, especially when you step away from cities. Some of this could be said about Canada too though
  3. "I am he As you are he As you are me And we are all together" How is the world not you? if it is literally coming out of you. but at the same time, you are the others.
  4. Mmm. I guess Brexit wasn't such a bad idea?
  5. Use whatever word you like. The only thing I said when I realized God is "Oh my God, oh my God" with my jaw open, acknowledging the extent of this realization.
  6. very vague questions. What kind of physical health issue? and one size fits all treatment is a narrow way to view health. True health encompasses various components such as mental, physical, diet, and spiritual health. Which can then be broken even further lol. I voted for physical fitness but what good is physical fitness if one has a poor diet, a tendency to be easily irritated, and severe anxiety about death.
  7. I wouldn't worry too much about whether what you're doing is spiritual or not. Notice how it just distracts you and creates conflict instead of just Being. I feel like whatever I do is what I need to do. Everything feels spiritual to me in those states.
  8. I can relate a bit and have felt like that before. Do it gradually and stop relying on them less and less. I agree with @Sahil Pandit.
  9. For me: I've usually just taken it in the morning and chilled home. I will meditate around the end or in the middle if there is a desire to do so. Also maybe some stretching as well to open up the body. This is assuming if I feel like it, cause I may just lay in my bed and go within or try to express to myself how I am feeling. But, I get insights no matter what I am doing because I feel so conscious about everything I'm doing. You can shower or take a walk just around the block and get profound insights and visions. I usually switch between self to no self perspectives even both at the same time, and contemplate extensively. Psychedelics literally showed me how to be. There's not really anything you need to do besides take it in my experience.
  10. Psychedelics* are already pretty damn profound. I think the insights one has on these substances has to do more with the person's journey and less to do with the substances. Although that notion could change if we're talking about 5-meo.
  11. Hello @alankrillin I am not denying that we share genetic traits to apes. I agree 100% and monkeys/gorillas are my favorite animals to see at the zoo. however as humans we are still radically different for various reasons. 1. I'll start by saying that hunting and eating meat played an important in our brain development, here is one link that support this hypothesis. https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2008/04/eating-meat-led-to-smaller-stomachs-bigger-brains/ https://geneticliteracyproject.org/2018/03/30/why-humans-started-eating-meat-critical-diet/ That's not to say that cooking foods or eating carbohydrates like potatoes were not factors, they were but hunting also played a key factor. 2. Im curious as to which ape you find we resemble the most? If we take for instance a gorilla, a gorilla has a different digestive system than a human, so I do not think its fair to compare our diets with the goal of reaching optimal health because we are built differently. "The primary difference of the digestive system between gorillas and humans is found in the gastrointestinal tract. Gorillas are herbivores so they need to be able to break down cellulose. Gorillas are known to be colon fermenters, which is defined as the anaerobic breakdown of organic compounds. Gorillas have large colons and the large intestine is filled with microbes (bacterial) and enzymes indigenous to the colon of the host, which destroy pathogenic microorganisms that are harmful to the host. Within gorillas it is believed that these bacteria serve the purpose of fermenting, detoxifying food, and breaking down cellulose (Stevens and Hume, 1995)." 3. Not to mention that Humans have cognitive and athletic abilities that is radically different than apes and vice versa. I am curious to see that UK cancer study you're talking about. I did not see it in this thread ; however I have yet to see a study that looks at healthy high quality meat and its effect on healthy people. When I say high quality meat, I mean grass fed, no antibiotics are used, pretty much the animals are eating their natural diet and humans are raising them in a healthy fashion. Processed meat has been linked to cancer and I avoid processed meat.
  12. Hobby musician here. A lot of artists have severe emotional issues. Thats why they are so in touch with their feelings probably and can express it in the fashion that they do. Music does have an effect, it has energy and you pick the energy you want to surround yourself with. So just be mindful of what music you listen, how it makes you feel, and what are you intentions with listening to artists. When I feel sad, I listen to sad music like Brand New or Radiohead. In one way it maintains my feelings, in another it makes me feel not alone in my feelings in the midst of daily social life. In another way I can just appreciate an artist's ability to express sadness or despair. Pair yourself with music that you need. It's a tool although we may not think about it like that, but its just an extension of how you feel. the beauty of music is in the eye of the beholder. sometimes Ill stay away from certain artists Six-nine because I find his music distasteful, excessively aggressive and negative. But Ill find system of a down to be genius and inspiring. So listen to artists from a genuine place and understand what they were trying to do with their work. ------ Don't be afraid to feel emotions or to suffer. It usually increases our empathy and connection to our fellow humans! When I think of Brian Wilson and the vulnerability he displayed in some of his songs like "Don't worry baby" or "You still believe in me", it strengthen my connection to others because I also recognize that feeling.
  13. That's not fair. That kind of behavior is just that individual's way of expressing that kind of conscious shift. I don't think the euphoria invalidates the conscious lift. Often its done as a way to process it too. I'd be careful wanting to box how people should act or any expectations you have of people with enlightenment experiences.
  14. From a health perspective, eating meat/fish is fine and its good for you because it has vitamins that you need and cannot get from plants. From a spiritual perspective: life is eating life. Plants are life too, you are inevitably eating or killing life no matter where you go. Every moment is life and death. we have to at least agree on some subjective standards too or else we'll never reach a collective conclusion.. I've seen people here claim that meat is somehow unhealthy (with no links), that killing an animal is equal to killing a human being, and that we are comparable to chimps. none of which are true to me. And saying that eating meat is unnecessary, yet vegetarian and vegans are all recommended to take supplements? Many vegans experience iron and b12 deficiency. Vegans claim it is the ultimate diet that humans are meant to evolve to, yet I know people who are allergic to nuts, various fruits, or cannot eat raw vegetables. All of these individuals can drink milk, eat meat, butter, and cheese though. And someone compared strawberries to a cow. My dude, if you survived on only strawberries, you'd be hungry for that cow in less than a week.
  15. mmm... It's hard to explain, I know what you mean. I would say that the average person under estimates how truly and deeply happy and grateful they can be. Additionally, that they under estimate the kind of love and happiness they get with spirituality. Which only comes with high levels of consciousness experiences/states It's not that spiritual or even religious people force themselves to avoid common entertainment, it's that those forms of pleasures become shallow in comparison to a spiritual life. However, I can still enjoy a movie, food, and cooking.
  16. Is what you're suggesting typically known as Changa? I am interested in trying this method. Last summer I came across N-N DMT and used a Vapor Genie to vaporize, but found it hard to break through. Although it was still freaking intense the dose I did, felt like I was dying or collapsing. Perhaps I just needed to do more.
  17. Yep. I said my piece though, now Ima let it be.
  18. Humans are a unique species and hunting played an important evolutionary role. Your claim: "We don't have the bodies or abilities" to hunt and eat animals raw (without tools) - yet, we do our ability is our mind and capacity to build sharp weapons. Then we use our body to hunt. How is this not evidence that we can in fact hunt BETTER than any other creature on this entire planet. You say: NOT TRUE, we can absorb nutrition from RAW meat, milk, and fish and in fact we absorb more nutrition because cooking destroys nutrients. Isn't that why raw vegans are so insistent about going raw?. It also doesn't "easily" make you ill if you eat healthy animals from local farms, I also mentioned two human societies, one of which eat raw milk, meat, and blood without health issues. I felt you were implying that we cannot eat raw meat because it'll make us sick. I don't see anyone getting sick from sushi either. You say: My point was that suggesting that someone can be a bodybuilder on a vegan diet isn't even proven since those bodybuilders that vegans commonly name use steroids. You say: Supplements are synthetically made which is what kept me from going vegan. Only thing seaweed will provide is iodine. I noticed you skipped over all the other nutrients. You'd probably suggest to supplement the rest right? Here's another resource that says we Cannot get vitamin A from vegetables. https://empoweredsustenance.com/true-vitamin-a-foods/ Also dude, Humans are NOT gorillas. We process food differently. Not to mention that gorillas do eat bugs, so in other words, they eat other LIFE. https://ucdintegrativemedicine.com/2016/03/youre-not-cow-gorilla-dont-eat-like-one-either/#gs.nJs3aXdC
  19. Again bro you are wrong. It's okay, I was there, I bought into the vegan propaganda and said the same things you are saying, but the truth is human beings actually can and DO kill wild animals and eat them raw. Inuit and Massai people do this. Not to mention Tartare is a popular dish in parts of the world. Here are some alternative resources. https://www.wewant2live.com https://www.westonaprice.org Don't forget the supplements...
  20. That's not true at all. LOTS of people have tried vegan the "right" way and ended with poor health. you can find a bunch of videos of "ex-vegans" online who were vegans for 3+ years. Body builders on vegan diets use steroids. Although Simmnett nutrition looks good aesthetically speaking. Meat has vitamins you can't get fruit, veggies, nuts, or legumes such as B12, Vitamin A, creatine and more. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/7-nutrients-you-cant-get-from-plants
  21. Yes I eat meat because its healthy, natural, and necessary for MY optimal health.
  22. Hmm... I do not share these sentiments. I love to travel, dance, and party. However, I'm not like a party animal, I'm actually introverted, but I love to have get together with friends every once in a while and I party hardy (in reason, I still remember what happened yesterday.) I smoke and drink at the parties to in an unrestricted fashion (depending on the party and social context). Smoking and drinking could be a distraction... but it's also a great way for people in their 20s to loosen up and be more open in my experience.
