Are you literally laying in the dark for hours without sleep? or do you mean, you keep stimulating yourself with screen time and have a hard time, winding down to get into bed?

YES. Especially dabbing. It's almost insane how strong it can get. BUT, I find weed does not have as clear of a headspace as classical Psychedelics. -
could the USA afford NOT to? Think of the implication as we continue on this increasingly complex world. What will happen when we let the poorest behind? Do you think those individuals who don't receive help are going to go away? Just saw that someone posted this, exactly.

yeah weed is exactly like DMT. /s I don't really feel like this post is well thought out man.

I don't think so. A person must be balanced which can be done by anyone. -
There's too much that I want to do and I am not really certain or wired to just stick to 1-2 things.

@Lyubov Your behavior sounds healthy to me. And I believe you are justified in feeling hurt. How can a person trust their partner 100% if they cannot cry in front of them? At the end of the day, just own yourself. I have cried in front of my partner before and she actually saw it as a sign of trust, and it brought us closer together.

Psychedelics take you beyond the mind game. -

I understand. This is why I think it is okay, even healthy to create a balanced Ego structure grounded by/surrendered to a virtuous model. Over the years of self-actualizing, I have let go of old paradigms and conditioning, but found that it is easy to get sucked into corrupt paradigms of others because of relativism. Meaning, if I am everything and I am open to anything, and I don't maintain limits or conditions in which I believe is the 'right' way to live life, it is easy to get sucked in to the relative conditions of what is around you. For example, if I am nobody and am not attached to living a wholesome life, I may do something subjectively stupid to myself. I found a lot of value in recognizing relativism like alternative perspectives and empathy. However, I find that my life gained a lot more meaning when I adopted a virtuous paradigm. Much like Leo would say that while he is experimenting with psychedelics, he vows to never harm or do self-harm. This is important. Just as much as we need to kill our Ego to meet God, we are also in need if an Ego that is more aligned with the Love of God and contains less falsehood. I don't know how to explain the mechanism, but I think some Egos bring us closer to God. For example, God is an intelligent Being and yet I feel closer to God's truth when I adopt wisdom for my life. Ego is inherent part of reality at least if you are living in the world, and a wholesome and virtuous one, is arguably more valuable & peaceful, which is closer to God in my experience. That being said I fully agree with @OneHandClap. But to even know this requires wisdom through self-reflection which is more aligned with a virtuous way of living. TL:DR Adopting a healthy Ego/reality structure will bring more meaning to your life while on your spiritual path. -
@Thought Art I agree! @Emotionalmosquito I think if you want to an impact on a group, you have to bring up a topic, the majority of the people can relate to. Like after introductions, maybe complimenting someone's style, maybe make a respectful & thoughtful observation about someone based on their appearance. Then you could possibly bring up like a crazy/funny story about work and then have everyone share something wild that happened to them at work or in the city. That would be more appropriate and it would get people to like you because they would be able to see themselves in you. you gotta talk about *real* shit and relatable ideas otherwise people are not going to want engage, that would be more authentic. Get to the commonality of human life in 21st century. Read the room and follow up with feelings too. Tell short stories that are interesting, but definitely do not go on a tangent. Ask questions. I've been to gatherings where a person will talk for like 20 minutes straight about how much they like Eminem the rapper while not realizing people were slowly tuning out because he was not engaging other in the conversation, diversifying it, or asking questions. Just kept going on and on, not even allowing breaks for someone to pop in with an idea. Didn't even get self aware and say, "Oh man, I could talk about Eminem forever, ya'll probably a little bored, hey x, what kind of music do you like?" Socialization is truly an art and I am not perfect at it, but if you stay conscious you'll know how to construct it like an orchestra.

Bro, you sound kind of crazy and off the wall. Even as I guy, I would be like, wtf is this guy talking about and I may even assume you are drugs or drank too much. Most people I know would respond to your choice in conversation with distrust and hesitancy because its weird and about genitals and sex, which shows where your mind is. You are already a stranger to these people and then instead of being harmonious to the group, you are likely interrupting a friendly conversation with some weird occult theories. You have to build trust and even then, build up to such a weird & gross topic lol. You really need to see these responses as you being unlikable, so what you are talking about is not reeling people in as much as you think it is.

It really depends on what kind of Christian you are. I know Christians who appear to think, if its not in the Bible then its deceptive... (I'm in the US). I prefer to see the beauty of God in everything I see. But one verse that I find clarifies things for Christians, whether something is good or bad is Matthew 7:16-20 In my experience, Yoga brings peace and union with my body which I do good with. -

It sounds like you are discussing nihilism, like just a sense of meaninglessness that can accompany with some awakenings? It's impossible for us to know what is in each other's experience, but I have experienced that sense of nihilism and I did overcome it. It doesn't change that everything is made of the 'Void' or the one substance that is God or as Leo would put it - imagination, but it ultimately ended up improving my life because it turned everything into divinity. So I'll still slurp soup knowing that it is soup while at the same time it is made of consciousness. -

I feel like you are making a lot of assumptions about Leo and people's experience with psychedelics, then you cite some new age guy as a source of wisdom and truth? I don't know why you find his NDE testimony more credible than a testimony by Leo. Are you calling out Leo for not agreeing with this Thomas Benedict fellow? I'd much rather just do DMT and ask myself these questions. And I greatly appreciate Leo's wisdom to recognize that is how it has to be for each individual. -
SgtPepper replied to Leilani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leilani what exactly does Leo say that you don't like or goes against the teachings of Jesus? For example, if I take this verse : “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple." - Luke 14:26. It actually falls in line with what Leo says about seeking truth over life attachments. -
I prefer looking cleaned up and sharp: Shaved face - haircut with a fade. Get in shape and good fitting clothes. Wear jeans with nice tones or khakis. Clothes that look nice and are clean. Make sure they compliment each other. Don't be afraid of tucking in a shirt. Get some nice jewelry like a watch and a necklace of something you find meaningful. Clean up your eyebrows. stand up straight.

worth what exactly? more time and energy? better sex and orgasm? being stoic and virtuous? wanting to develop mastery in self-control? This answer depends on what you what from yourself.

Ideally, I'd wait until I trust the person 100%. If you are interested in getting married and having a monogamous long term relationship with someone who you will define as your life partner. Consider a future conversation you will have with your partner about your sexual history. I think the average man and woman will be happy feeling that their sexual experience is a very exclusive experience. so... you never respected her in the first place.

yeah and why stop there? go have sex with men, animals, and objects!!! Don't be biased!!! Seriously though, all I see is twisting spirituality to justify egoic desires.

because being selfish is going against who you are, so when you go against who you are, you suffer. -
That's just what some vegans are like. It's not extreme to think that way in their community. This is not holistically true. Humans take care of nature, care for animals, and some will even compromise their health for animals We care more about animals than animals would ever care about themselves or other animals. In other words, we are the most caring animals in my view.
