  1. Love it. The hardest part of doing something is starting to do it. This method gives you practice on starting things, but it lacks intimidation. Great idea!
  2. Great suggestions, @phizzuela . I especially like the "meditation breaks." @bazera , one thing that has helped me is to avoid reading in bed when I'm tired. Reading is relaxing, so when you're half laying down in a cozy bed, you'll start to dip into sleep. I like to read sitting up in a chair, or on the couch. I keep the room dimly lit so that it quiets my mind enough to prepare me for bed, but it doesn't knock me out. Let know if that helps!
  3. Okay, I understand. Goals are really just attempts to influence the moment, but they may or may not succeed. Sometimes we feel like we have control of the moment, but we really do not. Thanks Jeff!
  4. Jeff, I love that response. Here's a few extra upvotes. However, I want to hear more about this "you can't control the outcome of anything," claim. I don't understand. When a moment presents itself, we can take action to influence that moment, therefore we obviously have some control. Care to elaborate?
  5. I think you need to ask yourself one question...why do you want to put on more mass? For confidence? That's a bad reason. Just find out how to be more confident. For masculinity? That's also a bad reason. Just find out how to be more masculine. Is it for the ability to knock people out? Okay, that's a way cooler reason, but it's not good for anybody. Just don't beat people up. If you're already healthy, getting "big" gets you nowhere. Nonetheless, if you still think you need to get big...I have the perfect diet for you:
  6. Absolutely. It's important to take responsibility for everything that happens to you, especially if you have some control over it. I've been doing this lately, and find that it's a strong emotional weight to carry. It's still worth it. Empowering.
  7. Can you elaborate on that quote a little bit? I'm having trouble applying it to my life. What if it's a situation that I would NEVER choose? If I get fired, I can treat it like I quit. That totally makes sense. But, what if my best friend dies? Why would I ever choose that?
