I haven mulling over our no-sourcing policy. Should we allow some degree of sourcing for psychedelics since their legality varies from country to country and region to region? I don't really like the idea that discussion of sourcing should be prohibited when some of these substances/chemicals are legal around the world and we have a global audience. This is just a discussion. No promises yet.

A game is only fun if it's challenging. As soon as you have God-mode inside a game, the whole game is spoiled and becomes meaningless. If you could snap your fingers and get anything you wish, life would lose all meaning and reward. Maya exists to keep you entertained. -

It's not random at all. "Random" is just what humans call a thing they don't comprehend. -
People who I see posting in a blatantly biased, partisan, or gaslighty way will have their accounts downgraded to lose access to the Politics subforum. If you notice people behaving in this way, report them to me for possible downgrade. Our standards for political discussion on this forum entail non-partisanship and at least a modicum of non-bias. This is not Reddit or Twitter. If you wish to engage in partisan battles this forum is not for you. There is no "both-sides" to this news story.

You are so shamelessly partisan that you don't deserve to be able to post on this subforum any more.

Yeah, well, telling people not to consume energy doesn't work. -
Don't use a canon to kill a mosquito. Our political situation is clear without any psychedelics.

Yes, there will be challenges. But everything mankind destroys can be recreated and made even better. We are going to terraform the entire planet anyways so its a moot point. -

I'm the one who recommended him to you. Just understand the limits. -
No, waste of a contemplation.

Of course Yes, someone has to sit down and actually invent some useful technology. That's what I suggest you do rather than stewing in doom porn. The time you spend crying about climate change could be invested in actually generating clean energy. -

There is unlimited energy on this planet. The only question is how to grab it. Fundamentally, worrying about energy is silly. -

All their predictions are suspect because they cannot predict what technology will be developed in the next 50 years. Making predictions that far out is a fool's errand. -

The only thing it chooses is Love, and the rest is the just details that come tautologically from Love's unfoldment. -
Dude, the girl making your coffee is hardly doing it willingly. With that said, prostitution definitely fucks up a girl's whole mind. But then again, the only reason a girl begins prostitution is because her mind is already fucked up.

@Someone here The only solution is to learn to socialize. Stop procrastinating and making excuses. Just do what needs to be done and you will quickly start to feel better.

Obviously has some degree of spiritual insight. That was never in question. The question is, what degree? -
Not good for your lungs.

You cannot rely on any numerical dose anyone gives you. You just have to test what doses feel right for you. You first dose was too low and your second dose was too high. So somewhere in between is your ideal dose. As you cope with and process all your personal psychological baggage and fear, you will be able to handle larger doses and trip deeper without freaking out. For now, since you've just started, keep your doses moderate because you have a lot of baggage to process yet.

And I got no problem with that. I know he understands their power. I wasn't really speaking to him, I was speaking to people here who are misunderstanding what he said. Actually I think he is. And I got no problem with him. Nate's whole channel is doom porn in a sense. The human race is not going extinct. This is absurd to worry about. The problem is that people who take his channel too seriously are going to become paranoid about nothing.
