That's simply a lack of nuance on your part. You and Adeptus are committing the classic pre/trans fallacy and then getting outraged at me over it. I have never claimed to be a messiah in some delusional pre-rational way people like Adetpus take that to mean. Does God speak through me? Of course! All my deepest insights come from God. Do I teach people how to awaken? Of course! In that sense you could say I am guru or a messiah, but you and Adeptus have no clue what this actually means. You take it as some narcisstic fundamentalist thing, but it isn't that. Anyone can become a guru or a messiah simply by awakening and having a calling to awaken others. If you don't carefully study this work, then it may seem that way to you. Yes, precisely because people like you and Adeptus get confused. The video was not about me, it was to help clear up confusion which naturally rises in this work. No, I have always spoke out and warned against cult behavior and ideology. This has been the core of my work from day 1. Actually I take criticism and feedback all the time. But not when it comes from trolls who are way out of their element. Before you troll me, first demonstrate a solid understanding of spirituality, nonduality, epistemology, metaphysics, and my work. I teach extremely advanced things which require nuance and tons of personal contemplation and direct experience to understand. My teachings are not some dumb right wing video that you just casually troll. It will take you 10 years of deep study to render a serious criticsim of me. Not that you couldn't. But you're so far from that. This may shock you, but I am a busy guy and I have better things to do than to defend my work against ignorant people. If I was in that business it would be a full time job. If you cannot fathom my work then that's not my problem. Many people will misinterpret my work because that is simply the nature of the ego mind. -

I am gonna start insta-banning people here who post any kind of "elites controlling the world" conspiracy theories. If you have such views you should leave here now. -

I am the Universe. Awakening is surrender to the universe. Yes, of course it is grooming me. You act like this is some outrageous egotistical claim when it is nothing unusual at all. I claim no special status for myself. The universe will groom you too if you do serious spiritual work. That's what spirituality is about. Yes, I have experienced telepathy. So what? Again, if you awaken deeply enough you will too. Well, if my work is so deeply misinterpreted then people who follow and understand my work are tempted to speak out and defend. This drama was started by Adeptus. He makes inflammatory videos and then acts surprised when people disagree with him. You reap what you sow. This is why I do not engage in such distractions and drama. I'm just a guy who makes self help videos. This work is not about me. -

Spiritual healing and paranormal powers are real things. I don't claim to have them, rather I was exploring and experimenting with how they work. That is all. Adeptus heard that and jumped all over it like a chlidish skeptic who has no clue how these things work. When I share my deepest insights from my psychedelic reaearch that is a raw reporting of things I have been experimenting with. My work is very experimental. If you wish to understand such things then do your own experiments. The denial and debunking of the paranormal is the delusion. I make no exceptions for myself when it comes to self-deception. Self-deception is always possible for all people, myself included. My work is about making people aware of the potential for self-deception. If you actually study my body of work you would know this has been a consistent theme throughout all my work. Nothing new here at all. When I say that it's possible to deceive oneself with psychedelics that does not mean everyone but me is deceived. It is just a pointing out of potential dangers and traps. Again, you are making this about me when it really has nothing to do with me. It's just general advice. If I warn you that you could kill someone with dynamite that does not mean I have killed someone with dynamite nor does it mean that you will necessarily kill someone with dynamite, nor does it mean that I could never kill someone with dynamite. All of those are wrong conclusions. -

@Blackhawk Look, dude, you are simply not ready for enlightenment. Go back and do basic self-help and enjoy your life. Forget about enlightenment. Enlightenment is not for you. -

This is a lesson for you about gaslighting. Lots of ignorant people will gaslight you in life. It is your job to stick to what you know is proper epistemology. A fear based, cynical epistemology cannot be proper. Be soveriegn. Respect your own authority. Honor your own wisdom. Do not let the paranoia of others worm into your mind. -

It works both ways. It is a mistake to think that only one causes the other. They are fundamentally entangled. -

Mind is not a problem per se. The problem is when mind is used improperly in a self-biased manner. Surviving as a human requires thought. That's exactly why you have thoughts. If they weren't an important part of survival you wouldn't have them. -
Dude, making a business around eating into your competitor's profit margins is a terrible business strategy because you just create a race to the bottom. And ironically it is this which leads to slave labor.

That was Charlie, not Ben. Doing podcasts and interviews is not what my work is about. I do that only as a side-show. But I know you guys like it. I won't be doing many of them. But you're in for a treat at the end of this month because I will be doing a serious, long interview with Curt Jaimungal on his TOE YT channel. You are not going to get a deeper interview than that anywhere, so if that doesn't satisfy you, nothing will.

@Mesopotamian What you ought to mean is simply high-quality education. In which case I would agree and support that. We need huge investments in high quality education all over the world. But at home. Our education system is shit. But it's not gonna happen, so don't hold your breath. -

This is a mistake in thinking. Improvement does not require negative motivation. You can love yourself and also love the process of growing yourself. Not because something is wrong, but because you just love growing and creating. You don't have to hate a thing to improve it. -

Be careful what you wish for. Brainwashing is not consciousness nor development, and it creates evil. -

@AdeptusPsychonautica It is amusing that you took my lastest dangers of psychedelics video as my acknowledging any delusion on my part. I said no such thing. All my spiritual and existential claims still stand. The delusional one is you who is so lost on your own stories and projections about my work that you read into my video something connected to you. This is ego 101. I don't make reactionary videos like you. I know this will sound crazy to you, but some people on YT are actually too busy making original content to care about what some reactionary is raving about. If you actually bothered to study my full body of work you would know that I have warned about the dangers of psychedelics from day 1. See my video: How To Use Psychedelics For Personal Develop. The reason for this latest video was to lay further safety guidelines for when I reveal the powerful new psychedelic I discovered. You got this silly idea that somehow I have not be safety conscious about psychedelics or spirituality, as if you have some monopoly on safety. But in fact the public record shows that I have always been extremely careful and responsible and urged safe of my audience. Just because you overlooked that to feed your cult leader narrative is not my problem. That's just bad reporting from you, as your vision has been clouded by your YT ego. I have never claimed to be a messiah. All I have claimed is that I am God and you are too. And of course that is the case. The only problem is that you aren't conscious of what you are. P.S. You have an unhealthy fixation with me. My work has nothing to do with me. If you were less focused on being a troll you might realize that. It is ironic that you rave about my delusions when your whole channel is an textbook of projection and ego-reaction. You are like a child throwing a tamper tantrum at the gates of Disneyland, too busy raving and whining to actually walk through the Gateless Gate. The reason I don't like corresponding with you is because I don't want to reward troll behavior and you show little interest in geuinely pursuing Truth. You are more interested in trolling for views or playing the psychonaut policeman. Play whatever games you want, I will just focus on doing my work, as I have for 8 years. My work speaks for itself, and so does yours. You deeply misunderstand spirituality, God, yourself, and the paranormal. Nothing more needs to be said. -

I think you are misunderstanding the Buddhist notion of suffering. What it basically means is that chasing material conditions and positive states is dissatisfying because they never last. This does not mean you cannot meditate on the feeling of satisfaction itself. In fact, doing so is how you escape suffering. Bliss and joy can be reached this way. Now, you can counter by saying that that bliss won't be permanent. Of course it won't. But I never said to get attached to permanent bliss. And it is still far better than what most people are doing, which is chasing dopamine hits. Think of it this way: in every moment you only have one of two options: you can either be satisified or dissatisfied. Which will you be? -

"Experience" is a metaphysically loaded, dualistic, materialistic, egoic notion. I have explained this plenty of times, especially in my episodes: What Is Perception? and What Is Truth? -
Leo Gura replied to wildflower's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You can realize what Truth is without reaching the highest levels of consciousness. Truth is not so hard to realize. You can do it with one solid trip if you set your intention and contemplate. -

Don't count on it. Your best bet is to address the illness at the material level, since it likely has a material cause. Consciousness can help you cope with and see past the illness if you are unable to cure it materially. Do not make the mistake of trying to solve material problems using spiritual methods. Consciousness is not going to cure your broken leg. For that you go to a doctor. -

Solution is simple: 1) Outlaw money in politics and lobbying. 2) Medicare For All & ban private health insurance. 3) Set price caps on drugs and/or have Fed manufacture generics.
