Well, that happens to be true. Your objection is more based in pragmatism. That is what you imagine. You imagine the experience of my sleep, and your own, in order to convince yourself that life is real. If you weren't actively doing that you could not be human. All of that is baked into your notion of "being human".

Find something more important and exciting to be doing.

You are very young, so you got little experience as grist for the mill. Keep contemplating your values and they will get refined over time. This is not a thing you do only once. As you gain more life experience revisit the exercises in the course. Don't forget to start making "small bets". This is crucial for gaining the experience necessary as grist for the mill.

The truth is more twisted than you can stomach: sleep never happens. Right now you are consciousness imagining that you have ever slept. You never actually sleep, you only imagine so. The materialist argument is not convincing for even 1 minute if you just realize that all material objects are just appearances within consciousness. The end. No materialist can counter that. You cannot kill consciousness without killing materialism, because materialism is consciousness. But consciousness is not materialism.

You're in a delusional experience right now. All experiences are mediated by chemistry. The notion of "altering chemistry" is silly, since all chemistry is relative with one default chemistry. All experience is Absolute Truth. You are confusing the absolute truth of Being vs the relative truths of conceptual stuff. Falsehood only exists at the conceptual level. You are lost inside your own mind. All experience is equally real, but you are confused about what the experience is or represents. The experience of a flatearther is as real as any other experience, but the flat earth is a concept. "Delusion" is a relative notion. Those things are delusions relative to your arbitrary standards. You do not understand what you are talking about. EVERYTHING is a dream. Reality is completely imaginary and it does not exist in any form without imagination. You are trying to pick and choose between imaginary grounds for reality, and this will always fail since reality is groundless. You are simply failing to be skeptical about your own experience. You take it for granted that your conception of reality correct. But it isn't. You have misused skepticism as I have warned about many times.
