I didn't mean he was a newbie. He's not a newbie at all. But his audience is full of materialist, rationalist, scientist, skeptic types who think they understand the world. His interview style is not geared towards newbies at all. Which is both good and bad. We'll how folks react.

I enjoyed myself. I was hoping it would have more structure, but hey, you can't control such things. We had a crazy-sprawling back-and-forth. What I have come to realize is that it will never be possible to have the structure necessary to convince newbies via an interview. The structure is something only I can develop within my own videos. These topics are simply to complex and sprawling even for a 5 hour interview. We only covered 30% of the topics necessary to understand reality. Combinatorial explosion.

It was very all-over-the-place. Don't expect any kind of structure to it like my usual talks. It definitely won't convert any skeptics, but it was fun.

He is a healthy blend of Blue, Orange, Green. He suits America perfectly. Not extreme in any direction. Which of course pisses off the extremists on both sides.

Talk about yourself, all the petty small details that you would normally not tell anyone because you think they wouldn't care. Like this: "This morning I rolled out of bed late and stubbed my toe on the nightstand. Then I burnt my piece of toast and put some butter on it. The butter was from Wholefoods. Organic, grass fed butter, but this is a new brand I never tried before because they ran out of my other favorite brand. I think I like this new brand better, it has a better texture and better packaging...." And just keep going.

Why hang up anything at all? Do you apply this logic to self-help or business or marriage or science? Do you get married for a few days and hang up the phone? Do you do 1 year of science and hang up the phone? Do you read 1 book and hang up the phone? It's a dumb attitude. Nothing worthwhile in life should be approached that way. Maybe it applies to smoking meth, but certainly not psychedelics. Psychedelics are an important field to study and research. To tell people to not explore it deeply is like telling NASA: "Welp, you've been to the moon, so time to call it quits on space exploration."

The notion of gravity and causation... these are complex projections of the mind. When you see a stick fall that is not evidence of gravity, despite what most people would tell you. It's just a stick falling. There could a thousand reasons and models for how and why the stick falls. Or even none at all. OF COURSE there is the possibility of conflating truth with belief. That's what happens in 99.99% of cases. Strictly speaking, Truth is raw experience itself. Even to say, "I see a stick" is not Truth. That's already a conceptual construction on top of what is raw experience.

That is the problem. You're too attached and needy. The real solution is to be so busy doing important work that you don't really care about who texts you or doesn't. Notice how attached you're getting to such petty things as texts. You're allowing symbols on a screen to dictate your life! Contemplate the absurdity of it.
