  1. Thanks! Here Daniel Ingram talks about intense meditation techniques like Fire Kasina. To remove that boundary you either need psychedelics or intense concentration/meditation practice. Kriya yoga could also work. There's just no way around hardcore practices because that boundary is very serious and deep. If it could easily dissolve then everyone would be mystic and no one would be a materialist. So it has to be hard and rare.
  2. Because their worldview makes it impossible for them to realize God.
  3. Your eagerness here is disturbing.
  4. Basically this. Yes, they are a cheat code for increasing consciousness. It is more than just precieving different things.
  5. No On the homepage there is a Login link in the top right corner.
  6. I don't think history bears this out. Jews lived in the Middle East historically without much animosity.
  7. Not so much killed as kicked out of Palestine. You make it sounds like Arabs just wanna kill Jews. Nope. They just want their farmland back. This is not a conflict against Jews, it is conflict over land that Jews decided to grab for themselves.
  8. Any hardcore spiritual practice will have this risk: meditation, self-inquiry, philosophy, psychedelics, long retreats. There is no such thing as risk-free serious spirituality. One time when I was doing Sadhguru's yoga technique I became so dizzy I tripped, fell backwards and almost cracked my skull.
  9. Because the goal here is to help people grow, not to depress them into cynicism and nihilism. Plenty of people who follow my work are in fragile states. Heaping negativity on them is not good for them. I'm not going to do stuff that hurts peoples' development.
  10. It's challenging emotionally to integrate it all, but worth the effort as it makes your worldview more realistic.
  11. I'm excited for you guys to start reading them. Some real gems on that list.
  12. I gots that thumbnail saved up for a new video on Love
  13. You want to be kind but very firm and clear on your values and ambitions. Ambitious, decisive, strong, but kind and loving. That's the ideal. The problem is when you act kind as meekness, as lack of confidence, as compromising with foolishness, as having no will of your own, as wanting others to like you, as a way of manipulating them to be kind back to you. You can be strong but kind, conscious, and loving.
  14. At this time nothing has increased. But in the months to come I plan to increase it a bit.
  15. If he had serious intelligence he would say you are God.
  16. The child may die, but society will go on. Society is larger than any one guy, or even any group of guys.
  17. And if a man with the highest IQ told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?
  18. Nisagardatta told you the technique. Now just do it. There is no secret teaching here.
  19. I don't understand. When did this start happening for you? I think everyone else is seeing the videos. Some videos may be region locked by YouTube. That's out of my control. Tell him that I can't restore it right now because the email service on the server is broken. I have to fix the email service first. Once I fix it then I will fix his account. Should take me a few days.
  20. Look. Just like always, humanity will bumble through this mess and come out the other side. It's like raising a child. He's gonna be messy but it will work out.
  21. You don't need any guru. No guru will do the work for you. There is nothing simpler than sitting and being conscious of yourself. There's no complex method. You just need to sit and focus for weeks on end. People don't want to do the work so they look for ways to complicate it with gurus. A guru is like a gym trainer. You don't need a gym trainer. You can just go to the gym and use common sense. The gym is not rocket science. And your gym trainer is not going to make your pushups any easier. Lazy, spoiled people hire gym trainers.
