Yeah, but even I was a bit shocked by how poorly they handled the logistics of the withdrawal. Leaving all that military equipment to the Taliban is so wasteful. -
It's important to realize that ideas stand on their own merits regardless of whose mouth they come out of. An idea's validity does not depend on the speaker. If Hitler told you that God is Love, that is irrelevant to whether or not God is Love. Stop getting hung up on the personality of the speaker/author. It does not matter. What matters is the ideas.

I would just be more conscious of the biases inherent in pickup culture. The principles and techniques are good. The culture is ridiculously toxic, immature, and self-biased. Dis-aggregating the two can be challenging.

@Flyboy You are imagining reality. This is not a concept. You are arguing over nothing. -

Sounds like devilry -

Well, survival is devilry. It's not possible to survive without murdering something. Of course devilry is part of God. -
I was born again by pickup. Later I was unborn by God's Love.

I do have some bad habits from my pickup days. Pickup forces one to be hyper pragmatic and brutal. And then it takes years to unwire that. Pickup also wires in certain biases that later need to be unwried, but that takes deliberate effort. These are the biggest downsides of pickup. It's like growing up in The Church of Vagina.

That's precisely because your survival values the iphone so much higher. All value is survival and bias. You are not getting how deep survival and bias goes. Your survival runs so deep that most things are not even a choice because if you chose them you'd be dead. Death is your ultimate bias that spawns all the other biases. If you want to see what unbias looks like, study a rock. The rock has no biases. The rock makes no choices. The rock does not do art and it does not like blue more than anything else. Why? Because it isn't surviving. -

Imagination is not hard to understand. Look at your body right now. It is imaginary. It's so simple. Every physical object you see is imaginary. You are dreaming. You are hallucinating the physical. Look man, you cannot stay alive without manipulation. Life is constant manipulation to stay alive. Even if you are fully enlightened. When I speak down about manipluation the point is that you do a lot of excessive manipulation which could be dropped or changed into a higher quality manipulation. You are not ever going to stop manipulating. But you can improve how you manipulate. You can make your manipulations very conscious, intelligent, loving, and artful. -

Imagination is not a concept at all. It is all direct experience. There is no cessation in your direct experience. This is obviously the case right now. It's not a concept, it's Absolute Truth, which is of course tautological and unassailable. That's a feature, not a bug. You are experiencing imagination and consciousness in this very moment. Nothing conceptual about it. God and consciousness are everything. You are God dreaming up that you are not God. Ego has nothing to do with it. Notice that you are conscious right now, yet you try to deny consciousness. This is silly. I didn't say that. I just said to be skeptical of Buddhists. They are not as woke as they appear to be. It's hard to say. I would have to interview them really deeply. I have done so only with Shinzen, and my best guess is that he is not. Ralston is deeply mistaken about Love. As I awaken more I tend to see fewer and fewer teachers as fully God-realized. The things they teach simply do not align with my own highest realizations. And I will always side with my own realizations over any teachers words. I recommend you do the same. You will not find God thru anyone's words. -

Science cannot grasp that the world is a hallucination because science itself is a part of the world, which means science is a hallucination. You are hallucinating science. Get that. -
I would give him more credit than that. He was asking some good questions.

I release videos to tell you to take back your authority, which you guys stubbornly refuse to do. The only proper way to answer existential questions is directly, alone, by yourself. -

God can act dumb. But that is not its highest capacity. You can crawl on your belly to the grocery store. But you can also walk. The point is to realize you've been crawling on your belly your whole life. -
Leo Gura replied to tuckerwphotography's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But that ego of yours does not have an infinite IQ. It does dumb things all the time. And the more ego you have the more dumb things you do. A) Suffering is already a bias. It is the mother of all biases. B) Preferences and choices cause suffering. The whole point of making a choice is to minimize suffering, otherwise no choice would be necessary. Making choices is all about survival. That certainly is a bias. And the only reason any organism is attracted to or repelled by anything is survival of one kind or another. Survival is not dumb. It's an incredibly sophisticated and subtle thing. Even the colors you like make a difference to your survival. Colors tell you what you should and shouldn't eat, what can kill you, who to have sex with, etc. -

@Stovo The problem here is that you expect to rely on some authoritative answer, like from me. But you cannot know whether my answer is actually true because I could be wrong or lying. So the only solution is for you to discover Truth for yourself. What is actually True? -
Point noted. We def don't want that.

Stop living from fear.

Devilry is blinder. -
But you won't get the hippie fumes.

Locking this because OP is not open to changing his position on this matter.

Yes, you are right. I will try to set a better example. I have been guilty of vulgarities. We do shut down toxic Red Pill and Black Pill threads here. And we will continue to do that. We also want to make this place more appealing for women and I haven't done the best job of that in the past. I will try to be less biased on that.

I think the continuous nature of things is just a consequence of infinity. An infinite thing tends to be continuous since it is infinitely sub-divisible.
