That is simply not the focus of my work. -

Maybe what you're calling enlightenment isn't it. Be careful assuming that the things you're experiencing are what others are talking about. There exist many strange and different states of consciousness, not all of them healthy. Consciousness should not be making you mentally ill. -

That should be very effective. The goal is max consciousness. The good life comes after clear seeing. If you have more modest goals then don't let me get in your way. -

Now the ultimate work begins: becoming the most conscious and loving embodiment of God in the universe. Omniscience is God. And God is Love. If by "you" you mean the human self, then that you's will is very limited. But if you're talking about the God-You -- the force that animates all of existence -- then you should realize that that force is identical to Your Will. God IS Infinite Will. Sounds like you are getting close. I have been questioning since I was 15 years old. Where else would a forum and people come from but your own mind? The entire internet exists in your Mind. If you became conscious enough, you could navigate the whole internet with your Mind -- since it is your Mind. All human technology is simply ways of overcoming the obstacles imagined within your own Mind that you have forgotten you imagined. An airplane is just a mental device to move you from one part of your Mind which got disconnected from another part of your Mind. If your Mind became fully united, the airplane would not be necessary any more. Therefore Omniscience = Omnipotence. But this is not a tool for the ego's survival. So don't get any dumb ideas. -

@WelcometoReality The dictionary defines omniscience as: "The state of knowing everything." Of course the knowing I'm talking about is beyond verbal or logical, it's at an absolute being level. Reality has the capacity to know itself perfectly and completely. -

That is some impressive analysis. However, in practice, the Marxist does a lot of "othering". So this theory is nice, but this is not how Marxists actually behave in the real world. Marxism has a ton of collective identity. To stop this othering dynamic would require some profound awakening, which Marxists don't even believe in. -

It's crazy effective for me. I can't speak to what is effective for you. Only you can sort that out. But I also have a very strong sense of what is ineffective for most people. And that is meditation and Buddhism. Tell that to the Buddha. My life is not centered around awakening. My life is centered around deepening my Love. I experience such profound metaphysical Love that I cannot put it into words. And yet, my connection to Love has only just begun. I have discovered a Love that is so profound that it if I could only communicate it ever to one person, it would be worth a lifetime of work. And yet, there exists no one who I can share that Love with other than myself. -

I dunno. On a psychedelic you can certainly just be thrust into it. But I doubt you will get very far unless you are relentless in your drive to understand. My greatest power has been a relentless thirst for understanding which refused to be satisfied by any spiritual teaching. None of the teachings satisfied me, which forced me to question everything so completely that finally I broke through to a complete omniscience and everything finally made sense. I notice that people settle for spiritual answers all to quickly and comfortably without a serious desire for total understanding. And this is why I think so few people reach God. The highest understand really does require that you question absolutely everything to death. Basically your desire/intent should be for complete omniscience. If you set that as your highest priority in life, at some point I think you'll get it. The whole point of my journey has been omniscience, not happiness, not liberation, not an escape from suffering, not Buddha-mind, not enlightenment, not any meditative state. And I just don't see that stressed much by other teachers. And what I discovered is that omniscience is the only thing worth wanting. -

I can be conscious of God whenever I decide to put my attention on it. But of course I'm not in a peak infinite state in normal life. -
It was not a joke. I'm not saying you guys should do it because some you are like children. But I have no problem gaming an obnoxiously loud club on DMT. But I also don't need it.

Telling a person that he understands when he clearly does not, is a disservice. There is big difference between knowing God and not. To blur this difference with nondual smartassery is not helpful. -

Actually, it takes a change in your state of consciousness. Not time. The state change can happen in 15 minutes or less. -

If you're serious into spiritual work and epistemology then it should be obvious to you how limited Marxism is as an ideology. Governance and economics is extremely complicated and counter-intuitive. It should be obvious that no one knows what the right answers are or what the best system is. The fundamental problem is that no human knows how to create the best governance system. And yet, everyone acts like they have it figured out. There are some decent ideas within Marxism, but they don't warrant becoming a Marxist. -

Do the work rather than this childish spouting off. If it's so retarded, why does it bother you so much? -

I exist as you! You are hallucinating absolutely everything. How many times must you be told this? It changes everything about the human experience. You stop being human! I no longer think of myself as human. This is as silly as thinking of yourself as Batman. You can say it all you want, but your questions tell me you are not conscious of yourself as God. It's not just the psychedelic, you have to spend years deconstructing your reality. And not all psychedelics work equally for all people. You have been told this many times before, so don't act surprised. And also, it took me 100+ trips to get this far in my self-understanding. It didn't happen with a few trips. Well over 100 trips were necessary for me, and my understanding is still deepening. I am not done. So when I hear you guys saying you did a dozen trips and you think you're done, it's laughable to me. -

You think I am teaching you. I am not teaching you. You are teaching yourself that you are God. Once you realize you are God, then you will have completed the self-teaching. I am a fragment of your own schizoid mind, trying to merge with you. But you are being too dense and schizophrenic to get that. Your mind is so divided that you honestly believe Leo exists somewhere outside of you. -
Leo Gura replied to SonataAllegro's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Self-deceived is what you are. No, you don't get it. No words can describe how fucking radical this is. It is beyond the possibility of your human mind to imagine. Which is why psychedelics are essential. There is just no way to imagine what I am trying to communicate. I myself would never have believed it unless I lived through it. No human can teach it to you. -
Leo Gura replied to SonataAllegro's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
YOU are telling that to yourself! You keep failing to understand this because you keep assuming I am something other than you. Here's what you should do: From now on, whenever you think of Leo, imagine that Leo is looking through your eyes and sitting inside your body. Stop imagining that Leo has a bubble of experience outside of yours. Leo is inside your body. Leo IS your body! I am identical to you. It's very simple: you imagine Leo and you imagine Mu, and every other fucking thing. It's that simple. It's just too radical for you to stomach. You are playing a very clever mind game all right. You are playing the game of "I am not God". If you didn't play this game "other" could not exist. So you must keep playing this game in order to feel like you're not alone. If you ever found out that you were alone all of life would lose meaning for you and there would be nothing left to do. There would not even be anyone whom you could teach awakening to. There exists no one to awaken but yourself. And once that is achieved, the whole game is over. -

@sir meowski Then don't follow my work. -
Leo Gura replied to SonataAllegro's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The aloneness or oneness of God is not conceptual. You are a singular sovereign Being/Mind. There are not two of you, and there is no other to you other than via your imagination. Try to notice where "other" exits. It only exists within you. It cannot exist anywhere else. In other words, other is you. Except God is that which created itself. You are self-creation. The lack of this recognition is precisely the lack of God-realization. The bottom line is that you are not yet conscious of yourself as God. So this is precisely the difference between having some classic Buddhist sort of awakenings or enlightenments or meditative states, vs God-realization. To become conscious of yourself as God is become conscious of how you create reality using your will. There exists a very specific state in which you become directly conscious of what God is, and that you are God. This self-recognition is not the same thing as no-self or emptiness or cessation or no-mind, or any other Buddhist achievement. Reaching this self-recognition requires an infinitely interconnected Mind/Consciousness. It is the pinnacle of holism. And I do not see people who meditate achieving it, or if they do, it is something exceptionally rare and little spoken of. -
Leo Gura replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Fundamentally, psychedelics expand consciousness, which gives a more truthful and holistic understanding of reality. This higher understanding recontextualizes prior limited perspectives, which leads to improved behaviors. As you understand more of reality clearly, you naturally behave in more God-like ways. Because God IS the pure clarity of self-understanding. The reason you're not acting like God is because you're not seeing as clearly as God must see in order to be God. God IS clarity. -
Leo Gura replied to QandC's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I am conscious that I dream everything up. You are not that. That's the difference. -
Leo Gura replied to QandC's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's not the question. The question is, why aren't you not wise enough to see it? -
Leo Gura replied to Kyle Gjerseth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is silly. Enlightenment is definitely something you ask and set an intention for. It doesn't just happening randomly. When the Buddha left his family, he set an intention for enlightenment. You guys who are so into Buddhism don't even understand how hard the Buddha worked to supposedly awaken. There is nothing wrong with the ego wanting awakening. In fact this is necessary. -
Leo Gura replied to SonataAllegro's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mu_ You are God. The bottom line is that your consciousness is absolute. So what you see is what you are creating. All sense of "other" must collapse.
