  1. All of Buddhism, its practices and its attainments, is a fantasy, a dream imagined in the mind of GOD. It is possible to awaken so deeply that you will realize how silly and imaginary Buddhism is, and enlightenment, and the insanely deep dogma behind it and all nondual teachings. No human teaching that I have ever encountered properly captures God-Realization. None of them. All of Buddhism is a dream and no Buddhist comprehends this, even though they think they do, they don't. It is yet another religion/cult invented by very ignorant humans.
  2. The practical benefits of awakening are rather subtle, like giving you a higher perspective on life. You will have a higher perspective on all your human problems like money, sex, relationships, family, business, education, health, politics, etc. But awakening will not obviate the need to take specific action on all those fronts. It's kind of like getting a good university education. It doesn't really solve anything concrete, but it does give you a great foundation from which to approach all problems and projects, so it certainly pays practical dividends for the rest of your life. But it's not as direct as a university education solving your money problems or career problems.
  3. Sure they exist. But they are totally different states of consciousness. There are so many totally different higher states of consciousness and awakening. The purest awakening has nothing negative or dysfunctional about it. You will not be regretting it or feeling negative. If you're feeling at all negative about awakening, rest assured that there exists something higher than whatever you got. Even within non-depresonalized/non-derealized awakening there are many different kinds, qualities, and degrees. And I'm not even sure depresonalization/derealization deserve to be called awakening. It's hard for me to say because I have never experienced those. Alls I know is there's nothing to be negative about. God is all upside.
  4. Keep the discussion classy. Stop the personal sniping.
  5. Great film. The Robert Carlyle character is epic.
  6. A key part of spiritual work is learning to accept certain things which cannot and should not be changed. Surrender, acceptance, and letting go are key tools for this issue.
  7. Coding your own website these days is not a good idea unless you need something very unique and specific. There are tons of platforms available that make it easy to make sites with little coding knowledge. But if I was developing a serious custom site from scratch I would use HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. This is a classic stack that's proven to work very well unless you need something enterprise-level.
  8. Where is the fun in stopping psychosis?
  9. It will not solve any practical problems. Dispose of that fantasy as soon as you can. If you have a specific, practical life problem, solve it directly, rather than hoping that spirituality will solve it for you somehow, some day, automagically.
  10. All of my spiritual experience has lead me to conclude that Buddhism is bullshit. But you judge for yourself.
  11. Welcome to life, where most people are dissatisfied with their looks and cannot change it. The notion that you ought to be satisfied with your looks is childish and overly-entitled. You have no such right. You should be thankful that you were not born a crippled bald midget ogre. When you really understand this, you will feel a lot better and get on with life.
  12. There is a big difference between proper and improper use of rationality. Rationality is a good thing when properly used. But it is badly abused in our culture and the academic and scientific communities.
  13. 1) Very few Buddhists or spiritual teachers are actually monks. 2) Being a monk is a very rare thing that is not suitable for 99% of humans. Which is why less than 1% of humans are monks. 3) Yes, monks have zero ambition. That's key to being a monk. You are basically deciding to throw your whole life away in order to attain meditative states. This is not necessarily a good thing. You have to want that.
  14. My site is complex and required a lot of custom code. You don't need that for now. Wordpress is a great platform that I use for some of my backend. I used to be a web developer, so I have a lot of web coding experience that most people don't have.
  15. Sometimes it's hard to say, but I believe that it helped me a lot early on.
  16. It kicks in within 3 minutes. At the 4 minute mark it feels like you are in a new reality, although the room still looks the same. The shift in consciousness is so dramatic that you start to feel sick and nauseous. It feels like you are no longer yourself but some kind of higher-dimensional being.
  17. DMSA is clinically provem very effective. But if you misuse it, you will harm yourself. So follow the proper protocol I shared with you.
  18. Women need to supplement iron. This isn't necessarily a diet issue. Easy fix.
  19. The horseshoe theory is true not at the level of content, but at the level of structure. Both the extreme right and left are dogmatic, judgmental, ideological, demonizing, impractical, arrogant, unwilling to compromise, and fundamentally misunderstands the other side.
  20. Sorry, but stop being shallow.
  21. I have not read that many books in total. It's just not necessary. In fact it will become counter-productive. You can't actualize that much theory. If you could I would be doing it.
  22. How would it have played out any differently?
