  1. A key part of spiritual work is learning to accept certain things which cannot and should not be changed. Surrender, acceptance, and letting go are key tools for this issue.
  2. Coding your own website these days is not a good idea unless you need something very unique and specific. There are tons of platforms available that make it easy to make sites with little coding knowledge. But if I was developing a serious custom site from scratch I would use HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. This is a classic stack that's proven to work very well unless you need something enterprise-level.
  3. Where is the fun in stopping psychosis?
  4. It will not solve any practical problems. Dispose of that fantasy as soon as you can. If you have a specific, practical life problem, solve it directly, rather than hoping that spirituality will solve it for you somehow, some day, automagically.
  5. All of my spiritual experience has lead me to conclude that Buddhism is bullshit. But you judge for yourself.
  6. Welcome to life, where most people are dissatisfied with their looks and cannot change it. The notion that you ought to be satisfied with your looks is childish and overly-entitled. You have no such right. You should be thankful that you were not born a crippled bald midget ogre. When you really understand this, you will feel a lot better and get on with life.
  7. There is a big difference between proper and improper use of rationality. Rationality is a good thing when properly used. But it is badly abused in our culture and the academic and scientific communities.
  8. 1) Very few Buddhists or spiritual teachers are actually monks. 2) Being a monk is a very rare thing that is not suitable for 99% of humans. Which is why less than 1% of humans are monks. 3) Yes, monks have zero ambition. That's key to being a monk. You are basically deciding to throw your whole life away in order to attain meditative states. This is not necessarily a good thing. You have to want that.
  9. My site is complex and required a lot of custom code. You don't need that for now. Wordpress is a great platform that I use for some of my backend. I used to be a web developer, so I have a lot of web coding experience that most people don't have.
  10. Sometimes it's hard to say, but I believe that it helped me a lot early on.
  11. It kicks in within 3 minutes. At the 4 minute mark it feels like you are in a new reality, although the room still looks the same. The shift in consciousness is so dramatic that you start to feel sick and nauseous. It feels like you are no longer yourself but some kind of higher-dimensional being.
  12. DMSA is clinically provem very effective. But if you misuse it, you will harm yourself. So follow the proper protocol I shared with you.
  13. Women need to supplement iron. This isn't necessarily a diet issue. Easy fix.
  14. The horseshoe theory is true not at the level of content, but at the level of structure. Both the extreme right and left are dogmatic, judgmental, ideological, demonizing, impractical, arrogant, unwilling to compromise, and fundamentally misunderstands the other side.
  15. Sorry, but stop being shallow.
  16. I have not read that many books in total. It's just not necessary. In fact it will become counter-productive. You can't actualize that much theory. If you could I would be doing it.
  17. How would it have played out any differently?
  18. There is some rise in labor unions lately, but I doubt it will ever reach the old levels. A lot of industries aren't so suitable to unions, or people just don't want to unionize.
  19. I don't really see that ever happening. People's jobs are far too specialized and segmented these days. Workers do not act like one giant flock of sheep. Hollywood writers are all on strike right now for higher pay. That's about as widespread a strike as there will realistically be. Every industry will not strike at once. This stuff is too complex for such simplistic action.
  20. 600 psychology books is just overkill. If you need to read that many books to figure out how to live a good life, there's something very wrong with you Remember the 80/20 principle: 20% of those books will get you 80% of your results
  21. Haha, what a load of self-serving horseshit. If you criticize Hitler you don't love him.
  22. They can, but Orange corporate culture demands cutting every corner. Every manager and executive is paid huge money to cut every corner.
