Like everyone else, his brain has been rotted by social media. No one is immune.

Nobody votes based on that. People vote based on vibe. Carter's vibe was too soft in a Cold War era. A) Many rich white people are socially liberal. B) They vote conservative simply because it serves their financial interests. It's not greed, it's self-bias. You vote for things that benefit you. C) But also, many rich people are still relatively socially conservative. Especially Boomers. Old people simply don't understand new things and don't feel comfortable with new things. Some Cold War Boomer is not gonna appreciate Marxism or some latest transgender queer social theory. A lot of this SJW culture is new. It didn't exist 30 years ago. You only learn it if you go to university in the 21st century. Even when I was university (2003-2007), very little of this SJW stuff was taught. I didn't encounter it in my university almost at all. -
@Twentyfirst Pat has been smoking that capitalism crack. Musk will be lucky if Twitter doesn't go bankrupt. Twitter ain't not Tesla or SpaceX. Twitter's business-model is just fundamentally bad. YouTube isn't worth anything like $1 trillion, and YT is way better monetized and managed than Twitter.

Jimmy Carter is the stereotypical example of feminine compassion and tender love. Conservatives cannot respect a man that "soft". That kind of approach does not resonate with their harsher survival style. -
But that is how all genuine learning works. There is a lot of trial and error and clumsiness. That doesn't mean learning isn't happening. If you are doing serious game your inner game will change a lot.

Except we do see exactly that. It's just that you're not appreciating the relativity of the situation. As I said, the conservatives in American are progressives relative to the Taliban. And that is because America is much more economically developed. If America had the development level of Afghanistan, Mitch McConnell would be passing laws prohibiting women from wearing skirts, and half the country would support it. -

Be careful counting your chickens before they hatch. Women are notoriously not to be relied on for timely sex.

I shopped at a Dollar store once. Bought a pack of fake Post-It notes. Figured it was a good deal. Opened the package. They were so bad I immediately threw the whole thing in the trash. Never again.

Generally speaking the mind ossifies and gets more closed with age. Hence more conservative. -
A direct count of popular votes would do that I think. Every vote would count. Maybe areas with a population below 10,000 can be given double votes to make sure their voice isn't drowned out by big cities. And maybe campaigning must be regulated so they campaign more evenly, not just targetting big cities. For example, for every urban rally you must also host a rural rally. And you must visit at least 20 different states. All sorts of clever regulations could help even things out.

The system needs to be sensitive to the agenda of rural voters, but not overly so. The US Senate is overly captive by the rural agenda. Since most people do not live in deep rural areas, that agenda should not run the show, but it should still be respresented. This is where a parlimentary sort of system is good. It is already the case that small states get less voting power, as they should. It's important to keep in mind where the economic output comes from. Areas that generate more economic value should have more voting power because they generate more tax revenue and play a bigger role in shaping world affairs.

Santa is real. I wear his hat for every Christmas episode. And this year I got a matching scarf. -

Def huge progress. But there is some truth in that you can't just coast on your past success, you must put in the work every night. You aren't just gonna get sex for showing up, you gotta work the room and hustle. But your game should get much better every 6 months.

What is up with all this sex cringe? I see a lot of cool gift ideas on Instagram. I bought my brother this thing: https://www.amazon.com/Intrism-Pro-Wooden-Puzzle-Labyrinth/dp/B016B9GN3Q

The whole point is to give large urban centers more power because they have more people and more economic and cultural relevance. There is no such thing as states with illegal voter turnout. This is nonsense. Yes, the more people show up to vote, the more representation they will get. That's otherwise known as democracy. I don't see how a direct popular vote can be won by a narrow region. If by "narrow region" is meant "all the major cities combined", then yes. But I wouldn't call that narrow, I'd call that broad. What's truly narrow is how all the rural rednecks vote in unison for right-wing buffoons. The redneck in Alsaka votes the same as the redneck in Florida. So you're not exactly getting some profound diversity there. The real question is, why should rural people get disportionate say in matters that involve global affairs? If you isolate yourself in a small town, your views will not be broad enough to properly handle global concerns, which is what going to Washington involves.

Of course. Why else? His Yellowness is marginal and spotty.
