Part 4:

Not happening. Dark mode requires a front-end redesign of the whole site.

Of course you should not take her claims of being the best in the world seriously. But the potential problems with Teal must be considered relative to the other alternatives. It is improper to evaluate Teal without considering who else might be helping these suffering and traumatized people. For example, I would rather have Teal help a suicidal person vs the suicidal person having no help at all (which is very common) or going to some psych ward where they are pumped full of drugs and told that spirituality is just a mental disorder.

If you become fully conscious the entire universe will disappear forever. You will exist as a pure abstraction, as a singularity of undifferentiated Oneness. This is your true nature. Having a life is just something you do to avoid Pure Infinity. You would call it death, but actually it's Infinity. -
Yeah, well, you should understand why I cannot take that seriously. What matters is truth and helping people. Not what normies are comfortable with.

To be fair, many therapists and psychologists, although they are regulated, have no clue how to help traumatized people and have no clue about important spiritual concepts. So as you consider the people Teal hurts, also consider the people that mainstream psychology and medicine hurts. Just because some treatment aligns with regulations does not mean it is helping people. You also have to consider how many people go to therapists and still end up killing themselves.

Contemplation plays a huge role in figuring out life. It's a core spiritual practice when done properly. The point of a map is to get you to your destination. -
Negative motivation will always be inferior because as soon as you don't have pain in your life your motivation will drop to zero. You need to be motivated by some inspiring, constructive, creative vision. Not by avoidance of pain. You won't create anything great by merely avoiding pain. All you'll get that way is mediocrity. The point of escaping wage slavery is to then use that freedom to create something amazing.

Just focus on a sensation for 10 seconds. Then switch to another. Don't overthink it. -
Yeah, it's very fucked up, assuming it's true. But that's what's in question according to videos above. I don't really like trying to adjudicate this shit. It's too much she said, he said. A bunch of human drama distracting from awakening. It's also not clear how functional she is. She talks about all sorts of mental disorders, suicide, etc. If she truly was abused in the manner she claims, I expect her to be dysfunctional even after lots of spiritual work. And that would explain why she choose to live in this communal way where everyone has to serve and protect her emotionally. If she had to spend a year living alone, would she try to kill herself? That's my hunch at this point. Which would be very problematic.

And this: Very damning if even half of this is true.

Some good info in this video. Not sure how true this guy's stories are. But if they are true then it's very damning for Teal.

That's good to hear but that's not really by design.

That's what the manual spiritual practices are for. Less talking, less thinking, less fretting, more spiritual practice. -
No, because you do in the right context (loud club with a dance floor) and you are very calibrated about it. You never force yourself on her. If she gives you a bad look, you let her go. You make strong eye contact with her and you watch how receptive she is to you. If she is not receptive you let her go. Once you get good at it, it comes off very smooth and cool.

I just want to eat the crispy chicken skin without the chicken meat. Hehe

The problem with listening to others talk about Teal is that many of them were very damaged people before they met her and so their take on Teal could be very distorted by their own minds and failure to understand. Of course their perspective should be considered, but it cannot just be trusted as the unvarnished truth. And you must balance that out against the thousands of people who say she saved their lives.

Not my area of focus. Teal is not your average gal. We have very different focuses. My focus is on understanding reality, her focus is on helping seriously traumatized and suffering people. Her work is very needed. You should not expect my work to offer you that kind of healing. My work assumes you are relatively trauma-free. Plenty of you guys here with lots of emotional baggage, depression, disorders, etc could use her work. Actualized.org is not going to teach you everything you need. I have a certain bias and focus. You should round out my teachings with experts in other areas. Dealing with traumatized people is not my wheelhouse. It's important you guys understand this and don't expect everything from me. Regardless of any culty stuff, I admire and respect Teal's core work. She is helping way more people than she is hurting. And nobody else is gonna help them.

If you don't respect shrooms they will skull fuck you. This was their little warning to you. You are playing with dynamite.

No emergency room or doctor is going to fix that.
-
This is a pretty poor understanding of Teal's work and intentions. Not impressed. They are doing a lot of projection.
-
Those links don't play for me. Teal did say she was married 5 fucking times. Makes you wonder...

So it just sounds like you need to socialize more and make more higher quality friends. There is a billion people in India. How impossible could it be? Try looking for more spiritual people in spirituality oriented places.
