Nothing surprising about it. The one common thread between all those things is profound group-think and self-bias. -

@Reignforest You are engaging in nonsense. -

What have you been smoking? No society has ever been even close to Turquoise and won't be for 100s of more years. -

I don't know enough about him to say. He certainly played Trump for a fool and the North Koreans are very clever with their nuclear strategy. -

That's like saying a fish is primarily attracted to a lure.

It's a bad situation either way. But from America's POV it seems like funding the war is the best move as long as Ukrianians still want to keep fighting. Trump is a buffoon. The only thing he should be negotiating is his own prison sentence. -

@rnd Of course there is a lot of self-bias on the war from the American side. They can't help themselves. The bias is just part of the American group-think. They don't know how to think neutrally on this issue, nor does it pay for them to do so. -

Don't tell girls you're nice. Tell them you're a scumbag. When it comes to girls, everything is the opposite of what you think.

Cause he's a selfish nationalist. Not everything is. Russia accepts plenty of "Western" stuff. Just not the whole neoliberal worldview. I said Putin is strong. But like all strongmen, he's also weak. That's the paradox of strongmen. If he was truly strong he wouldn't have had a mutiny to begin with and he wouldn't be so paranoid that he sits 30ft away from everybody. -
@Bobby_2021 Wait till you reach the Alien Mind stage. Now that's magical.

Sure, a bit. But the US is a grand master at that. -
That is tricky. But also, how do you know when to listen to your thoughts and when not to listen? That's just as tricky.
