  1. The converse is not automatically true. Just because you are a desperate and inept loner does not mean you are highly conscious or intelligent. Plenty of loners are less developed than social people.
  2. That's not the point. The point is, talking to and having friends hinders one from enlightenment. Have you never wondered why humans are so damn stupid? Hint: it isn't an accident. Show me a human with 100 friends and I'll show you a fool.
  3. Dude, it would still take years of design work and testing to create a game worth playing. No AI will just spit out a masterpiece game for you. Creating a great game takes something like 1000 man years of work. AI might cut that down by 90% at most. Directing the AI to create your vision of a game or film is the highest, purest form of artistry. Art is about creative vision, NOT drawing. I can use a printer to draw lines for me. The printer is not an artist. You might as well be upset at printers for stealing your job.
  4. This is wrong. It undermines nothing. Making art more accessible by making it less low-level is good for mankind. In the same way programming should not require assembly language. It's good that all assembly programmers become obsolete. It's a waste of human effort. We don't need to imagine. We have Google Translate. By your logic this undermines all the interpreters who worked for decades to master languages. But it is silly to hold the position that Google Translate is bad.
  5. Of course Saddam was a creature of his tribal culture. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Saddam's biography is actually deeply fascinating to read.
  6. Funny enough it is easier to ascend high with a mindless job than a highly intelligent and creative one. You could ascend pretty high as a janitor. Because you got nothing to think about or stress about and no one to talk to. It's socializing what really kills you. Socialization in like cancer for intelligence and consciousness. If you want to be intelligent, stop socializing. The more you socialize the dumber you will get, until you turn into Joe Rogan.
  7. Yes, that's the way to go about it. In the end, you consider various perspectives, test them out empirically, and see what produces the best results for the majority of people. There shouldn't be anything ideological about it. Really, politics should be turned into an empirical science to see what actually helps the most people. We can have opinions and theories about what is best, but they all need to be tested in the field.
  8. Yeah, but that was the whole point of Saddam. He used an iron fist to keep the bandits in checks. Then the bandits got loose. This was a very predictable and direct consequence of taking out Saddam. A country at the development level of Iraq requires some authoritarian to keep tribal warfare from consuming all of society. The fundamental issue is that there isn't really an Iraqi national identity, there are many smaller tribal identities so no unity is possible. Iraq has yet to evolve to the level of nationalism; it's at the tribal level. If every Iraqi agreed to surrender their tribal identity and all think of themselves as Iraqis, then they could live in peace, at least among themselves.
  9. @Flyboy Honestly though, what will it tell me that I don't already know?
  10. Not really. The most spiritual people are born that way. It's genetic.
  11. Have you ever had good memory, like as a child in school? Or was it always bad? Definitely look into heavy metal detox. It's not the only factor, but one of the tell-tale signs of heavy metal toxicity is poor memory. Mercury and lead especially cause memory problems and just overall bad cognitive performance. There are also supplements that improve memory. See my Best Supplements video for examples. This is incorrect. Intelligence is infinite therefore it is not computable. Humans mis-define what intelligence is. Intelligence is not IQ nor pure calculation speed, nor book-smarts. Intelligence is a fundamental feature of reality and consciousness. Wisdom comes from intelligence. Intelligence which isn't wise isn't very intelligent. Most people that society deems as intelligent are actually not very intelligent, they just seem intelligent from an even less intelligent person's POV. Real intelligence has an existential and spiritual dimension, otherwise it's just not very intelligent. You can't really be an intelligent materialist. Materialism is stupidity.
  12. @aurum This one's for you: The death of Socrates. "Friends, followers, and students encouraged Socrates to flee Athens, an action which the citizens expected; yet, on principle, Socrates refused to flout the law and escape his legal responsibility to Athens. Therefore, faithful to his teaching of civic obedience to the law, the 70-year-old Socrates executed his death sentence and drank the hemlock, as condemned at trial." Socrates last words as the poison moved through is body? "Crito, we owe a cock to Asklepios. Pay it and do not neglect it."
  13. One of my friends moved to Warsaw just for the girls. He lives in the city center in the best condo for $3k/mo and just approaches girls outside his building all week long. He says it's like paradise if you're into Eastern European girls. Just an example of what's possible.
  14. Just let it go and move on. Do not enter into confrontations with upset girls. Just talk to new ones. Some girls will be in bad moods and arguing with them never leads to anything good. I've had girls punch me or claw me. It happens.
  15. If this is true, then what are you worried about? In reality, even the world's best and most unique artists got their inspiration and style from somewhere. These AI show that creativity requires lots of input and recombination. Artists develop their styles and craft through imitating other artists. This is well known. All art copies itself. Picasso famously developed his unique style by taking motifs from African masks and elsewhere. Now I can take Picasso's style and throw it into an AI, blend it with something else, and get some cool new art. In the future these AI tools will become much more flexible, powerful, and diverse. Right now they are still far too limited. Really Adobe needs to buy out these AI start-ups and create a professional AI tool for artists which has infinite flexibility and power. Such a tool would be worth billions.
  16. This development is actually very similar to Youtube. YT made video broadcast accessible to all, not just a few. Is YT bad for traditional broadcasters who had exclusive positions? Yeah. Now they have to compete harder. And think about interpreters. What has Google Translate done to their decades of learning languages?
  17. Illustrators will still be needed for a decade to come and beyond. In the meantime you can also learn to leverage AI.
  18. There is nothing new about this. Monks and mystics have been turning towards asceticism and the hermit life since the dawn of civilization because the grind of daily surviving in a society is extremely distracting for spiritual consciousness. You are not going to be massively awake by living a normal social lifestyle with a 9-5 job.
  19. I would feel sorry for the girl.
