He's awake in the classical sense, but that doesn't mean he explored the crazy things consciousness can do. Maybe he did, but I haven't really heard him talk about it. He kept it very simple. Being awake is not the same thing as exploring all the possibilities of consciousness. Meditation is not going to allow you to explore the most interesting aspects of consciousness. It's too basic and simple.

If you were fully conscious, you'd be complaining that things are too obvious and boring. You love the drama of being finite.

Ask her to tell you her life story, as she sees it from her POV, from scratch. And just listen to it without commentary. If she showed you love, communicate back to her that you received it, recognize it, and are thankful for it.

Realistically bro, just stop being cheap and buy her the drink. If you wanna be cheap then tell her you'll be splitting the bill. Both ways will work, but way #1 is classier. Especially if you sense that you'll see her again. Being too cheap is not a good look for a high-value man. You can try something a bit sneaky like: "I'm paying for drinks so you're giving me a back massage later." To get her more invested.
