Americans who think Dems or progressives are far left have no understanding of political science or global political history. They are just consuming right wing news. No far left party has ever held office in America.

I did that on purpose due to the danger of people getting seduced into false love. The symmetry becomes the trap. We need to emphasize truth because that's what keeps us out of self-deception. Then you can have real love. I am forcing you to eat your vegetables before you get dessert. Because I know the child wants dessert first. I've thought a lot about this issue. It's not just some bias I'm acting out unconsciously.

When tyranny and corruption hold power, political violence becomes the norm. This was expected. There is a reasonable chance Trump will be shot within the next few years because people will be furious over his corruption. Trump literally defends child rapists. You really think that won't have consequences? Fascists don't need to do assassinations when they hold power and intend to keep it by any means. When democracy ceases to work, violence becomes the only outlet. That is fascism in effect.

Feelings can contain lots of truth. Feelings are also a tool of survival. The same is true of thoughts. People use thoughts for falsehood all the time. But thoughts can carry truth.
