  1. Your visual field has infinite resolution. That means you can zoom into it forever. You can also zoom out of it forever. Infinity IS a totally closed system. It's just infinite in all directions. Infinity is so open that it's closed.
  2. Most people used to work 12-14 hours days, 6 days a week. Is it healthy? No. Depends on your definition of success. Even average people can become fairly successful simply through hard work and saving your money.
  3. Success requires serious work. Of course. Why do you think most people aren't successful? They are too lazy. But you don't have to work that much your whole life. Usually that much work is only required when you are starting a business. Once the business is stable you can work a lot less. Although if you want to be constantly innovative and creative, you must work hard. There is a big different between being successful/wealthy vs being innovative/creative. It's much easier to just be wealthy. Creativity is endless work.
  4. Happiness just isn't a factor for most humans. It takes a lot of develop to actually start to care about true happiness. Most people are barely paying their rent.
  5. Not as high as cost as a 4 day work week will be. Also, a 5 day work week does not cause rapid turn over. Humans used to work 12-14 hours days, 6 days a week.
  6. Realistically, at this stage of business evolution, companies should not care about worker burn out because they can just replace workers. Most employees can begrudgingly handle 40 hours per week. It makes for a shitty life, but most workers are complacent enough to tolerate it. And frankly, many of those workers would waste that time anyway on watching TV and scrolling through Instagram. At least this way they do something productive. We are not at a point where companies can be globally competitive with a 4 day work week. US has to compete with China, India, and the like. For a 4 day work week to work, everyone in the world has to adopt it. It's similar to a disarmament treaty. And 3rd world countries cannot afford that because they are still too poor.
  7. There's only one commandment: TRUTH/LOVE
  8. I'm well aware of the game. I'm just not interested in it. I'm not interested in most games.
  9. Yeah, in pickup we call that "state". Your question is how to build state, or get into state. Well, that's what all game is basically about. You build state by relaxing, having fun, and doing your approaches no matter what. It usually takes 10-20 approaches to hit state. You're not going to hit state every night. Some nights will just be shit. But you can get a lot better at it by developing your inner game and being very disciplined about approaching.
  10. @Holykael You are like a man who has fallen into a hole, and to spite God, has decided to dig it deeper and deeper. Or you could stop digging and climb out.
  11. Have some decency and don't spread toxic trash here.
  12. You basically need to listen the news and arguments from all sides and draw your own conclusions. There is no book which tells you what the right politics are. I have some good political books on my book list. Listening to lectures on history, gov, politics, and economics is also important to develop a solid understanding of how government works in general.
  13. There is no clear answer. You must ultimately just see how eating that stuff makes you feel. Learn to listen to your body.
  14. Move to a place that gives you an advantage. Location is key.
  15. Asking for great narrative from your games is like asking for great narrative from your porn. It's always gonna be 2nd rate. Naughty Dog games are a great example. The narrative is decent at best. Uncharted does not have any kind of amazing narrative. It's decent. But they put so much attention on it that the gameplay suffers. And this is the best case scenario. Most games do it much worse. The narrative of Indiana Jones is way better than Uncharted. I don't like that whole series. Never interested me. I don't like highly linear narrative games.
