I've watched a lot of knife videos now, and about 50% of them justified, but 50% are excessive. Most knife situations can be handled with a taser.

This is why we can't have nice things: These Nazis are getting emboldened.

The problem with such laws is that they are as pointless a banning alcohol or weed. People will not obey them because it just completely goes against human nature. You're basically criminalizing half the population.

Infinity is Intelligence, so of course it can grasp itself. You just can't do it using human finite intelligence. But you can using Infinite Intelligence. This is a common dogma and mistake I see with spiritual teachings. As if Intelligence is some mere egoic human property and not the cornerstone of God itself.

That's what I did and realistically what most people have to do. It's not pleasant though.

Blacklisting and shadow-banning is concerning and should be investigated. The problem is that blacklisting and shadow-banning will still happen under Elon Musk. He himself said that trolls & racists will get downranked in the algorithms. He is not going to be able to reinvent this wheel. But he will give right-wingers a sorts of things to cry about. The ranking algirthims of these companies where never about free speech, they were always skewed by financial motive. When you search Google, the results it serves up to you is all stuff that it thinks will benefit its users the most. It's not trying to be "fair".

To people who think that police can be replaced with social workers, this is the video for you. This is a schizophrenic guy in his own house. The cop is a true professional. Amazing:

Most of them have mental illness, or are on drugs, or are career criminals with a record of felonies, probation, and arrest warrants. Many of their lives suck so bad that they look forward to death. They have little to lose, nothing to live for. Many of them are at stage Red levels of development. These are the kids in school who always caused trouble and never listened to authority.

Many sardines come from the Baltic, which seems to be relatively clean. Sardines are one of the best fish you can eat, other than the low-quality oils that they are usually canned in (soybean). Look for higher quality sardines packaged in extra virgin olive oil or water. Baltic sardines can taste amazing. It's worth trying out many brands and finding your fave. They can taste quite different. Latvian Riga sardines are one of my fave taste-wise.

In practice you have to do these things to climb the ladder and succeed at work. That's the difference between a job and a career. If you had a career you would be willing to do these things.

Just ask yourself, "What job do I find meaningful?" And then fucking do it.

I know every well how corrupt the police can be. You don't understand police corruption until you've been to Russia. American police are saints relative to Russian police who will rape your girlfriend and kill your dog just for fun. Yes, dealing with monsters tends to make you a monster. This is well-known from classic psychology experiments on prison guards. They start to abuse their power. Which is why they require oversight. American police are pretty amazing when you consider them relative to other places on Earth. Things could be a lot worse. Corruption in America is very low relative to most places on Earth.

This is so stupid. As if police did not exist for 1000s of years before slavery. Slave-catching is not the origin of police. Every major city-state had police because there were violent criminals in every city that needed stopping. At the very least police are need to protect banks and wealthy shops & houses from robbery. If there was no police every bank and shop would be robbed. It has nothing to do with slavery. Yeah, but the point is that you never know which mundane traffic stop could turn into an axe-wielding maniac. "Should reduce crime" is a very distant and idealistic notion. When a kid with a gun is shooting up a Walmart, you don't have the luxury of talking about shoulds. The police are the last line of defense for all the failures in the social system. Our social systems are too imperfect so you will have lots of failure and they will come in unpredictable places. Improving education and social services requires decades. In the meantime you gotta protect innocent civilians. The reality is that if you send in social workers into many of these situations they will just be bullied and murdered. You cannot tell from the outset which situation will turn violent or not. Here's great example: In this video the police do a routine check-up on a guy who has mental illness and claims to be hearing voices. His mother asked the police to escort him to a hospital. The police were super nice and careful. But in the end he stabbed the cop in the neck with a hidden knife. The only reason the officer didn't die was because by fluke luck the doctor said the knife missed every major artery in his neck. If this was a social worker, he'd be stabbed to death in the face. This is a great example of how progressive idealism/utopianism just falls flat on its face. Progressives underestimate how vicious criminals can be. Police carry guns for good reason, not because they are trigger happy authoritarians. Here is another great example that illustrates why progressives are wrong about sending in social workers. In this case the girlfriend of a suicidal boyfriend went to a gas station to call the police on him. She told them that he needs a social worker to come help him. She specifically told them not to bring guns or the police. As she was making this call, the boyfriend drives up and shoots a female officer who was trying to help the girlfriend. Just imagine what this boyfriend would have done to an unarmed social worker. Progressives are so empathetic with criminals they do not understand how deranged and vile these people can be. Empathy and diplomacy will not save you from a drugged up psychopath. He will stab and rape you.

A human didn't write that.

He has higher potential for sex, but not higher potential for growth. The key mistake in your thinking is valuing sex above growth. No sex will ever feel as good as deep growth.
