  1. Because a country as large and powerful as Russia needs to be accommodated to some degree. Not all countries are equal. Large countries have more influence. Ukraine cannot behave however it pleases because it's not in a strong enough position to get away with it. Pissing off your neighbors is not a good survival strategy if you're a small country. It's just not worth expanding NATO if it causes so much threat in the minds of Russian leaders. That's counter-productive to world peace. When you make geopolitical strategy you have to think about how it threatens states around you and leads to escalation. For this same reason the US should not just continue to multiply its nuclear arsenal endlessly, because that will force Russia to do the same. That's what's happening with NATO. It's needless escalation for little benefit. It's not like NATO is weak unless Ukraine joins in. NATO is many times stronger than Russia already.
  2. Except this backfires when pushed too far. The paranoia for defense has turned into a threat to Russia and lead to this needless war. Putin is not unreasonable in asking for some breathing room around Russia's border. It's NATO who is unreasonable in wanting to expand without any limits. This is a solution in search of a problem.
  3. I see you have discovered teenage level political philosophy.
  4. I think it's a bad idea to let Ukraine into NATO. NATO expansion needs to just stop, otherwise it will provoke Putin needlessly. The purpose of NATO should not be expand as far as possible up to Russia's border. This is clearly a threatening move. NATO as a block is safe. They don't need to be paranoid.
  5. It's not really my thesis. Many whistleblowers have come out and said that governments have alien craft and bodies. This intel is highly classified and compartmentalized such that even many top official don't know about it.
  6. Sounds like you're falling for some scam.
  7. Makes no difference. You would still want to hold on to an anti-gravity flying craft even if you cannot reverse engineer it. Whether the technology is useful or not is really irrelevant. It would still be highly prized.
  8. This is very much in question. I don't see how Putin will let Ukraine enter NATO at this point. He fight it. From what I can tell, the only way there will be a peace settlement with Putin is if Ukraine agrees to be a neutral state and never enter NATO. Otherwise Putin will just continue the war and Ukraine will eventually run out of troops and supplies. For Ukraine to have a real chance of jointing NATO it would have had to win the war, which seems impossible at this point.
  9. Because if you don't hide it you lose control of the most powerful technology ever. If you owned a flying saucer you wouldn't want to give it away to anyone. And the best way to do that is to keep it hidden.
  10. Such stories are very common among mystic New Age types. However I've noticed many of them are also just delusional and live in their own mystical bubbles with no one challenging their BS. In any case, Sadhguru is not a normal human being. So using him as some sort of example of what mankind at large can do is deeply wrong.
  11. Lawyers are important. It's just that they can be loose with the truth.
  12. Hard to say. It's not just size but their brain might have entirely new organs in the head. I have read about alien brians which have 13 hemispheres rather than our 2. Who knows what spiritual powers that unlocks.
  13. @MysticalSnow If you take 1000 kids and put them through the most rigorous training you can imagine, virtually none of them will develop telepathic abilities. You are welcome to try it.
  14. I understand your point. It's not unreasonable. But Russia is clearly doing this in a bad-faith, underhanded, authoritarian, corrupt, and illegal way. Disrespecting the sovereignty of Ukrainians. Putin doesn't really care about what the people in Donbas think or want. He's just looking to gain geopolitical advantage and to sabotage Ukraine as a sovereign democratic state.
  15. It's hard to quantify it. I don't know all the ins and outs of the Israeli government. You'd need to create some kind of objective metrics to quantify it. Here's a starting point: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist_Democracy_Index
  16. Palestine is not part of the Israel government, so why would it fall under its democracy? Israel treats Palestine as a foreign terrorist state. Democracy does not apply outside one's boarder. At least not in today's world. Maybe in 500 years.
  17. Ramana was one of the most spiritual gifted humans on the planet. If he struggles to do it than it's a pipe dream, not a serious solution to mankind's issues. There is definitely potential in that. But even then there's gonna be some hard genetic ceiling. These kids are not gonna be shooting fireballs out their asses.
