Woke people can be anti-vax. Anti-vax has two poles: the right-wing regressive pole and the left-wing progressive pole. I know plenty of spiritual people who are very anti-vax because they are so into holistic health. Of course they are deluded. But for different reasons than the MAGA people.

In practice this is true. Most of the time when you think you'll never come back, you do come back. On the other hand, all it takes is one time to screw yourself. It's good to have a healthy fear around taking large doses. Being fearless in this domain is not ideal because you will end up hurting yourself and regretting it.

For example, all these large tech companies have made billions by selling your private data which they effectively stole from the poplution without consent. It's very hard to make billions without cheating someone in the process.

Hippies qualify as woke. It just not commonly applied to them because woke is a new term and hippie is an old term so they are from different cultural generations. But when a hippe says "love one another and world peace", right-wingers would consider that woke.

Consciousness is a much more complex and richer thing than merely awareness. Although of course awareness is core to consciousness. To understand what consciousness is requires insane levels of awakening. Beyond nonduality and human spirituality. It couldn't be more profound. These so called enlightened people do not understand what consciousness is. Consciousness is a 1000 times more sophisticated than what Buddhists teach.

That is certainly an easy trap to fall into.

But think of it this way: if he was physically able to do it then his heart could not have been the limiting factor. If his heart was truly a limiting factor he simply would have failed. You cannot just grind your way through a bad heart. That is the fantasy. It's sorta funny, but if someone with a handicap succeeds, then by definition it was not a serious handicap. A serious handicap means you will fail no matter how hard you try.
