Changing the Constitution is extremely difficult. And even then, there would be great disagreement over how to implement it at a nuts and bolts level. No one will want to change the Constitution if it means their side loses power. People are not that stupid. They know when a change results in them losing power. And in this case we are talking about a permanent loss of massive power, in the billions and trillions.

Def Canada. You can buy anything there legally pretty much

I did not read his report, I was just speaking generally about Erowid reports. There is always a chance that you will have a bad trip. Although I've almost never had one on 5-MeO-DMT in over 200 trips. But obviously this will vary from person to person. You shouldn't draw any conclusions from one guy's one bad trip.

Take test here: http://openpsychometrics.org/tests/LSRP.php Post results below. I scored: Primary: 1.3/5 -- (a lack of empathy for other people and tolerance for antisocial orientations) Secondary: 2/5 -- (rule breaking and a lack of effort towards socially rewarded behavior)

That's true. But then again, why would excellence ever be something that you get from being mainstream? The mainstream is not designed for excellence in anything, it is designed to be the lowest common denominator that scales to 100s of millions. Banging super-models is never going to scale, therefore that kind of advice will never be mainstream. Exactly. It's not just insane, it's impossible. But Andrew Tate's advice is even less scalable. Imagine if all the guys were recruits girls into web porn cam businesses and taking their passports. It's not like Tate or his fans give a damn about scalability. The only scalable advice is to stop playing videos, move to a bigger city, go socialize and date, and work on raising your value as a man by developing yourself. But this requires serious work. Few people are interested in that, they want some flashy shortcut.

1) It isn't there job. 2) There is an endless supply of self-help material available to appeal to every kind of person.

No. It's not that easy. The government should not be wasting it's time jumping on fringe and speculative online theories. That would make the government way to easy to manipulate for partisan gain. Which is exactly what this lab leak stuff is about. It has nothing to really do with public health or the like, it's about scoring political points. The FBI should be not engaged in that kind of childish crap. You guys are not actually serious about governance, you're just looking at this whole thing from an irresponsible personal perspective where you want to see some side win and validate your worldview. That is not how governance actually works. Which is why you keep misunderstanding mainstream, moderate government bureaucrats. They have serious work to do, the kind which you cannot even fathom. -

It's not embarrassing at all. The government and media is working perfectly in this case. Fringe theories which have the potential to be weaponized in partisan and political manner and harm millions of people with paranoia should not be mainstreamed and legitimized by government or big media. Those theories can surface on their own once they gather sufficient credibility through overwhelming accumulation of evidence. This case is a perfect example of why it's good to be conservative with your theories and epistemology. And by "conservative" I don't mean that right-wing populist culture-war trash. I mean truly conservative. Conservative means: You don't make a claim about reality unless you got overwhelming evidence for it. There was never any overwhelming solid evidence in the early days of a lab leak. It was all just speculation. The evidence is still weak 2 years later. The FBI is doing an excellent job, despite all the online fools crying about bias. -
You can find plenty of articles on major news sites about the problem with single men and their inability to date. Do they offer you an actual solution? Of course not. But that's not their job. It is not CNN's job to get your laid or turn you into a proper man. CNN's job is to report major breaking daily news. It is not a self-help channel. If you want to turn yourself into a strong man, all those resources are easily available online. No one is stopping you but you.

1) That is a very deep and serious systemic issue which is one of the hardest aspects of government to change. 2) It's a rather dry and technical topic which only wonks understand. It's not a culture war issue which riles up the reptilian brain. 3) Serious solutions to this issue require deep systems thinking which almost no voter is capable of. And not even many politicians. So even if they want to get money out of politics that's not enough, you need to actually have realistic plan of how you're going to do it. 4) Both parties are captured by the big money, so both sides have a lot of incentive to just look the other way on this topic. It's the elephant in the room which no one wants to eat because it doesn't taste good.

Many of the people who post on Erowid are deeply immature, irresponsible degenerates. The bottom of human society and psychological health. Traumatized addicts with miserable lives and no metaphysical or spiritual foundation. They take huge doses in very irresponsible ways. Of course 5-MeO-DMT will terrorize them. You shouldn't take 5-MeO-DMT unless you enjoy having your entire reality deconstructed in 10 minutes. Most humans would not enjoy that. You have to be psychologically primed for it. I find most Erowid trip reports to be extremely misleading. If you think your trips will be as on Erowid, you're in for a surprise. It's best not to take anyone's trip reports too seriously. Just proceed with caution on your own and try small doses on yourself to see how the chemical actually makes you feel. If I listened to the trip reports found online, I would not have found many of the best chemicals I have found.

Hehe.... It's way more than pure practice. It is an entire worldview and not only that, it will actually prevent you from reaching the highest levels of Consciousness. You will not reach God-Consciousness via any kind of reductive system like Shinzen's. Consciousness is non-reducible. You cannot understand God by breaking your field of experience down into pieces and chunks as Shinzen attempts to do. This is the mistake of materialism all over again in the guise of Buddha's authority. Judge for yourself, but what I'm saying is that cessation has nothing to do with Awakening. Have as many cessations as you want, in the end you will still not understand God. Cessation != understanding. And nothing beats understanding. You should not trust any human. Seek the truth independently for yourself. Consider all these humans are just tricksters testing you with traps and games. Your job is to outwit them all, not to subscribe to any one. As soon as you stop thinking independently, you fail. - - - - I am working on a course that will once and for all explain how to reach God Consciousness and completely deconstruct Buddhism, Vedanta, nonduality, and absolutely all human spiritual teachings. Until you reach Alien God Consciousness, Insanity, and Infinite Kinds of Love, including Alien Love. And ultimately Omniscience. -

If you ever fully Awaken what you'll realize is that all these people were just trickster characters you created in order to really test your own capacity for seeking out the truth for yourself. It is actually much better to Awaken to Love on your own rather than be told the answer by Ralston or the like. If I am most charitable to Ralston, he told you Love isn't real just so you could discover otherwise. At least that's exactly what happened with me. -

I know. But that doesn't matter. You have to properly use your mind in the first place. This line of logic is nonsense: "Well, I tried a bit of psychedelics, and they didn't do much for me, therefore I know better than you." -
Fresh & Fit? Lol. I don't even consider that media. CNN runs articles about Incels.

Assuming you escape their brainwashing. That's a dangerous assumption though because it is subtle and clever. A guy like Yang actually thinks he understands Consciousness using those techniques. He's not stupid. But he fell in that trap. And so will you if you aren't careful. -
Leo Gura replied to Juan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Vipassana practice teaches good mindfulness skills. But that is not the same as understanding what Consciousness is or how it works. Mindfulness is NOT enough! Not anywhere close to enough. But you should skill exercise mindfulness. The more mindful you can be the better, all else being equal. But all is not equal. You have limited resources, and once you get embroiled in the Vipassana brainwashing, it will run you. Vipassana doesn't come for free. It has a huge cost! The cost of brainwashing you into their whole worldview. It is a religion. And no religion understands God. -

There is benefit to doing a gym session. Doesn't mean you know God. It all boils down to an issue of misdirection. There is so much misdirection within spirituality that you don't have enough years in your life to exhaust it all. So you must be extremely careful who you follow -- that is if you care about understanding Consciousness. -

It's deliciously ironic when men consider it masculine to blame women for eroding their masculinity. That's the most beta logic of all time: "I can't be a strong man because women have a voice."

It was regarded as such because it was spouted by reactionary right-wing nuts as part of their anti-vaxism and populism. Same as the Hunter Biden story. Do not act like these people were doing any serious truth-seeking. They were mostly making nationalist rants against China in order to backwards rationalize their not getting vaccinated. This is not honest truth-seeking, it's bad-faith partisanship. -

These people who get sucked into Vipassana are an embarrassment to Intelligence. Vipassana is just another cult humans have constructed to distract from Awakening. Buddhism is a con game. -
This topic has been covered a lot in the media if you actually consume broad media, and not just some one channel.

This. The issue is that conspiracy theorists are always jumping to conclusions and then exaggerting things to fuel their twisted worldview. Lab leak is a possibility and we still don't exactly know. But people act like their know everything and then further ascribe bad motives and reach for twisted conclusions.
