It's tricky. A lot of those kind of stories are get-rich-quick gimmicks. However, I am an example of someone who got rich quick. I went from making zero to making 6 figures income within about 6-12 months. There is some validity to this field, however there is a lot of trash and gimmickry. I would say 20% of the field is legit, and 80% is marketing BS. You have to be really good at sorting through it and finding the golden nuggets. Most people who try it fail, but some really smart, hardworking, and creative people will succeed. In general I would avoid any product or service which is structured like a pyramid scheme, where the seller of the product teaches you how to get rich by teaching other people how to get rich. That is crap. You want to listen to serious business people whose business is not selling you on get-rich-quick pipe dreams. Try to listen to real business people who do real business. Your goal should be to build a real business, not some gimmicky cash grab or grift. If you want solid business advice I suggest the courses of Eben Pagan. You can search for other teachers like him. Dan Kennedy is also really solid. They can teach you the foundations of marketing and sales.

AI is clearly gonna happen in the future. So there's no use worrying about it. Rather just make the best of your life. How is worrying about AI gonna help you? The nice thing about doing your passion is that it is its own reward. If you make great music, people will still consume it. Don't forget, most musicians make their money from touring and doing live shows. You could have said 50 years ago that all musicians would be out of business because CDs and radio was invented. However, musicians are making billions doing live performances. Why do people pay $200 for a ticket to see a musician when they could just stream the song for free on YouTube? There is more to life than just pure mechanical efficiency. Especially in the arts. People want a connection with their favorite artists.

There is no clear line. Which is why it's difficult. You just have to use common sense. Again, notice how you sneak in this fear about the Holocaust happening again and you say it in the context of DeSantis. It's like, on the one hand you say you're not doing that, but also you are doing it. The reason I'm not worried that DeSantis will be a true fascist is because American institution, culture, society, and courts are too developed to allow that in practice. Basically the way you know that we're not going to have another Holocaust is because America has developed beyond such things. I just don't see that DeSantis would be much worse than Trump, George W Bush, or Reagan. Of course I still don't like the policies of either of them. Do their policies hurt and even kill some people? Yes. But is this some Nazi-level movement that will bring the country to its knees? No. How do you explain psychological research which shows that if you leave kids with gender dysphoria alone until they turn 18, 80% of them will grow out of it?
