  1. Dude, what? If you want a girl with a dick you are gay. The last thing a straight man wants on his girlfriend is a dick. That is not a little thing, that's a dealbreaker. Lol. If you negotiating about your gf having a dick, you ain't straight. Do whatever, but don't kid yourself.
  2. There can't be a one-size-fits-all answer on this issue. Some schizo people will benefit from psychedelics and some will go nuts. You won't predict which until you try it. Very small doses could be used to test the waters, but of course this is risky if she goes overboard with it. I would not want to be responsible for giving schizos psychedelics because you never know how bad it might get.
  3. @Athif M Yup, that's how it works. Good job.
  4. @Lazarus93 Bingo! That is proper Awakening! Exactly what I am trying to teach
  5. Hey, ya'll, I need your help! I want to create a comprehensive list of video examples of prototypical stage Yellow thinking. This is not meant to humiliate or demonize stage Yellow. It's meant to be an educational tool for people learning about Spiral Dynamics. So towards that end, scour Youtube and find all the videos you can which exhibit stage Yellow thinking. Try to find videos which are short and sweet. The more diversity we can display here, the better. Try to find examples from various cultures: Europe, Middle East, Asia, Indonesia, Japan, Russia, Africa, South America, etc. We will create a mega-thread like this for every stage in the Spiral, from Red to Turquoise. But here, let's just focus on Yellow. Each week I will start a new mega-thread topic for the next stage. Do not start a political debate in this thread! It is not our goal here to defend our personal political positions or to judge any stage, but simply to compile examples. Thanks for your help! I'm excited to see what kind of juicy stuff you dig up. Try to be selective with your choices. This can turn into a really cool list. Stage Yellow Values: Nuance & complexity Openmindedness Perspective Novel concepts & POVs Generating fresh insights Understanding Systems thinking Nonlinear dynamics Sustainability, long time frames Going meta Big picture vs technical analysis Holistic analysis Synthesis Connecting the dots Penetrating to the core of an issue Identifying & solving root problems A multi-disciplinary approach Mixing hard & soft sciences Creativity, outside-the-box solutions Ecology Responsible ways of being Studying models Spiral Dynamics Natural hierarchies Education, knowledge, research, reading Reading lots of diverse books Clean content, concentrated information Life-long learning Expertise, competence, experience Context, learning from history Developing skills to become an instrument for the greater whole Independent thinking Neutrality: Being objective/impartial Designing solutions for the entire Spiral Meeting people where they are at Building bridges Social engineering Ecological designs Reducing the suffering of living systems Pulling ideas from many sources Combining different ideas, models, theories Left-brained Vision & purpose, being a visionary Requisite variety, mental flexibility Self-actualization Paradox Uncertainty Responsibility, independence, autonomy Being a lone-wolf Stage Yellow Examples: Abraham Maslow, Eben Pagan, Fritjof Capra, Carl Sagan, quantum mechanics, fathers of quantum mechanics, David Bohm, Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Erwin Schrodinger, Arthur Eddington, Richard Feynman, Freeman Dyson, John Archibald Wheeler, Joseph Campbell, Erich Fromm, Clare Graves, Don Beck, Spiral Dynamics, Ilya Prigogine, chaos theory, cybernetics, biomimetics, NLP, Alfred Korzybski, the leading edge of academia, futurists, StarTrek humans & Vulcans, Prime Directive, sustainable living, ecology, eco cities, conflict resolution, Wikipedia, Buckminster Fuller
  6. Yes, we had server downtime yesterday.
  7. Nice! Gald to see you advancing your education.
  8. Eben Pagan, Dan Kennedy I've recommended them before. There are endless sources on those topics.
  9. It is both hillarous and stupid that Vitaly is a Trump supporter. Right on the nose. Clown recognizes clown. Man-child recognizes man-child.
  10. I didn't say she needs to be a genius philosopher. Just aligned in values. You have no idea how toxic Socrates marriage might have been. You are just assuming it was good.
  11. As a game it is decent. But turning it into a TV show is stupid. It just goes to show the creative bankrupcy and greed of Hollywood. They will find a way to turn Fruit Loops into a TV show. And the stupid masses will slurp it up like pigs at the trough. These are lazy money-grabs, not art.
  12. Yup. Good work.
  13. Prison should be his wake-up call. But he's in so deep, I doubt even that will change him. He doesn't know how to produce meaningful, quality content. That's too much work for him. So he specializes in scum content.
  14. Nope, I don't like Fallout as a narrative. It is too... something about it is off. The original Fallout 1 & 2 world is good. But the Bethesda version of it I don't like. Bethesda turned it into something plasticy, cheap, trite, overused, self-indulgent, lame. Bethesda Fallout has a certain stink to it. I do not like video games turned into cinema. It is never a good idea. Games are not cinema.
  15. Vitaly has made a 15-year-long career out of pranks and trolling people for clicks. Of course he is an immature jackass. Confronting him will not change that. Vitaly is what happens when your entire career is about making clickbait. He reminds me of those Jake Paul brothers.
  16. That is a guaranteed disaster. There cannot be a relationship when values are so misaligned. Your girl needs to be on your wavelength. If you are into self-actualization, you can't marry someone who isn't, regardless of how nice or sexy she is. Your core values need to align, otherwise it will not last. You need to screen women on values before you fall for them.
  17. Yes. Once I get warmed up and really into. But entering that flow doesn't always succeed. Sometimes I feel uninspired, exhausted, or distracted. No. You don't have to read anything. Reading can help, but it can also be a distraction. The utility of reading is learning techniques and learning about the many traps in this work. Without reading you are likely to fall into a serious trap and get stuck in it for years. For me there is no direct connection. I like game design just because it lets me be creative and imagine cool worlds that cannot exist in normal life. The most direct connection between design and philosophical work is that design is about thinking in a big picture, holistic way, and so it philosophical work. I have a designer's mind and I think like a designer. This is the common thread between game design and philosophy. A designer's mind must be very holistic because you need to take the entire product into account. A designer needs to see the game in its totality, not just in parts. A good game is designed top-down as one unified whole. Which is of course how God works. Thinking very big picture, like a film director, is a very good skill to develop. I have that kind of director's mindset. It is the mindset of an executive, a CEO -- where you are responsible for the entirety of a thing. To invent a game, you must be responsible for the entire thing. It's the mindset of founders.
  18. It is just traditionally how yoga is taught. Yoga is very conformist. You are not allowed to question or challenge the guru.
  19. If a man does not meet her needs, yes, she will replace him. But it is silly to expect otherwise. It is your job to know her needs and satisfy them within reason.
