I see what you mean. I think there is value in seeing it as memes and also as structures of consciousness. The meme approach is nice in that it feels less linear and pre-desitined. With Wilber's stages they feel like this is the only way a human can evolve with no alternatives -- because this is how consciousness evolve. While memes feel like they could be different because there could be many different cultures and combinations of memes. So I actually feel Wilber's model is more linear and rigid.

Again, I would say it doesn't matter because Trump is just a scammer. Scammers are not relativists. They are just scammers. You give him too much credit. Relativism actually requires some intellectual work to see that people have validly differing perspectives. Trump does not give a fuck about any such work or anyone's perspective but his own. Wilber does not call Trump as Green. That's not what I said. The problem I see in Wilber's application is that it blames Green, over estimates America's development, and acts like we can skip over Green to Yellow. Wilber's work is excellent. His politics is not so great.

Wliber has a better model because he has personal experience with the highest stages. Beck was not developed enough himself to understand the higher stages.

I think you're conflating things. Green media is like TYT or David Pakman. Trump is not Green in his media use. Trump just opportunistically exploits the media like suckers. Trump's media use is toxic Orange and even Red. A Red psychopath would pollute the media with bullshit and use it to run a crypto grift or steal an election. I have noticed for a long time that Wilber has a strange application of SD to politics. He expect society to skip over Green to be Yellow. He wants more Yellow. He blames Green for being too mean. But he doesn't recognize that America has never reached solid Green as it's stuck in Orange-Blue and demonizes Green. Wilber expects America to go from Orange-Blue to Yellow because Green is too mean. This makes no sense. The proof of it is this regression towards fascism. Blaming Green for creating Trump is gaslighting.

Not quite the same thing. Musk's quest has a pretty unique purpose in his psyche. And also important is that it's a totally absurd and unnecessary plan. Mankind is not going to live on Mars. Musks needs that to be true to feel important. It's like if I said mankind will live in volcanos. This is not like being a surgeon. Human bodies are not going to function on Mars. People will go there and come back crippled or not at all.
