@Carl-Richard Lol, the stupidity of it!

I think this is a serious possibility and danger: Him or the likes of Ben Shapiro. Once Trump fades away, the biggest question will be: What form does conservatism take in America? In a post-Trump political world, I think a lot of right-wing celebrities and talk show hosts will start vying for the top role.

Looks like Trump is planning not to leave. This is a very dangerous situation.

That's not a scientist, that's an ideological idiot. The proper response to someone like that is silence. -
@Stovo It is actually the mainstream media which saved democracy by refusing to go along with Trump's lies and games. If mainstream media was taken over by partisan right-wing hacks, American democracy would be doomed. Which is why attacks on and conspiracy theories about the mainstream media are so harmful and devilish. Whatever faults and biases the mainstream media has, it still plays a crucial function in presenting factual information that democracy needs to stay afloat. Media is needed to accurately report who won the election.

No, it just makes you not a complete idiot. "There are two types of people: people who are complete idiots and people who are not complete idiots." — Slavoj Zizek This is a very powerful point.

This is known as the hard problem of consciousness or the mind/body problem. It's a classic philosophical problem that goes back at least 400 years. Not at all. Computers are made of consciousness already, since atoms are made of consciousness. Everything is always made of consciousness. The only question is, How is the consciousness behaving? And you can make it behave however you want. It wouldn't mean anything since the entire universe is self-aware and conscious at all times. -

How is that mocking? I simply stated the truth. -
Yes, it's gonna be very challenging marketing high-consciousness material because 99% of the population is low consciousness. If you want to do that, you need to build some kind of bridge or funnel which meets people at their low consciousness level and slowly exposes them to higher consciousness material over time. It's very challenging to start a high consciousness business as your first biz. You might want to start with a lower consciousness biz just to shore up your financial base, and then build on top of that. Definitely nobody will ever care about your life purpose. Your customers are completely selfish and will only care about the survival value your product/service offers them. Your life purpose is for you, not for them. You must invent a way to translate your LP into tangible value for your customers. In this way they will indirectly care about your LP via the value it gives them.

@Member You gotta become independent. Stop caring about normal. Normal is shite. You gotta really develop a strong trust in yourself without pinging off the approval of others. -

Yeah... I think you just have to upgrade your social circle to more conscious people. You can't talk about this stuff with stage Blue people and Orange people. You need stage Green+ This is an opportunity to make higher quality friends. Don't cast your pearls before swine -

@Member One thing you can bank on is this: all fear is illusion and falsehood. How could God fear itself? How could Infinite Love/Consciousness fear anything? Fear is definitely a feature of the ego-mind. -

I've actually seen this happen. The result can be surprising. The DMT can lessen their consciousness! Psychedelics are not guaranteed to work on everyone. People respond differently to them. Sometimes extremely differently. I've seen people not respond to DMT, or respond negatively. It's a lock and key system. There must be a proper fit between the two. If you give Sadhguru DMT, it might be counter-productive for him. -

I don't know exactly. Genetics certainly plays a huge role in determining your baseline neurotransmitter cocktail. If we knew how to edit genes, we might be able to increase your baseline consciousness by a factor of 1000x. -

@Sam Johnson There is a bell curve of spiritual capacity that humans have. From spiritual retards to gods. For example, I've met people who were born awakened and live multiple live simutaneously in parallel from birth. Stop assuming that other humans are like you. Their consciousness can be totally different than yours. An advanced yogi is gonna be in the top 1% of the spiritual bell curve with zero practice. And then he will add 1000s of hours of practice on top of that. So you, an average guy, have no hope of attaining his level naturally. It's like you think you can play basketball against Shaquiel O'Neil. -

@Corpus I don't understand what wisdom you think you are arguing. Take psychedelics, amazing awakenings will result. Simple. You are over-thinking things. Stop worrying about things which ain't a problem. If you are so worried about visuals, take 5-MeO-DMT. -

@AcaciaConfusa Look, dude, you ain't a one in a billion magical yogi. Stop assuming you will ever reach that kind of worldclass level. People like that are genetic freaks born with special hardware that you do not have. -

They are both very potent, just in different ways. I assume it would still have been very potent from the start. I don't really lose my body. Although that's gonna be dose dependent and the body is imaginary anyways so to me the body is not an obstacle. I meditate without a strict schedule, as I feel like. -
Leo Gura replied to Matt23's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Corpus First of all, 1000s of people can easily attest to the profoundness of DMT even with crazy high visuals. This is not some untested thing. Secondly, I've taken other psychedelics which have lots of visuals and the visuals do not obscure the profundity of the trip. You seem to be stuck on visuals for some reason when there's no reason to be. Visuals don't obscure a trip any more than they obscure meditation. -
Leo Gura replied to Matt23's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Even if you get lots of visuals it does not contradict meditation. The visuals are not the most significant part, the expanded consciousness is. Visuals + expanded consciousness will be more profound and insightful than any meditation. Especially on DMT. The insight on DMT is second to none and will knock your socks off no matter how much you've meditated. DMT is like God ejaculating his seed all over your face from a firehose until you drown. -
@Lauritz Bewer Try proving to a donkey that you are human.
