  1. Trying to locate it in space is an error. It is neither outward nor inward, here nor there, because it is everywhere.
  2. Well.... there is no skull. Where you imagine my skull is, is Infinity. If you look carefully, you don't actually have a head. You have Infinity instead
  3. In my deepest awakenings I've realized that even perspective does not exist. There is only one perspective: YOU. Which is not a perspective since this notion only makes sense there is 2 or more perspectives. "Perspective" is ultimately a dualistic notion that too must collapse. When the notion of perspective collapses, you're left with the Absolute.
  4. Except scientists do not agree. Go read some Daniel Dennett, who wrote an entire book denying consciousness.
  5. You assume a difference between one and two. Sit in the silent recognition that all difference is imaginary and relative. Sit in the emptiness of that. And don't ask whether this emptiness is one or two, since that would a re-creation of your original delusion. At this point you must fully exit the mind. Stop thinking about it. Leave the mind behind.
  6. It all depends. The emptiness could be similar, but they are not guaranteed to realize the same facets of it. One might recognize the Love facet. Another might recognize the no-self facet, and many more possibilities exist. It is not safe to assume that two people taking the same dose of LSD will realize the same things. Although of course there will tend to be much overlap if you take a large enough sample of people. Ground 0 is ground 0 of course. But there are an infinite number of higher levels of consciousness of that ground. For example, you can be conscious of Infinity. And then you can be 1000x more conscious of Infinity than that. And if you became conscious enough of it, it would kill you.
  7. Ya'll should closely study and contemplate the notion of Anekantavada: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anekantavada
  8. Ultimately it's even more twisted than you presently imagine. There is no Ralston's reality nor Leo's reality, there is only your reality, by which I mean my reality
  9. Look, words are always gonna break down when you try to go this deep. The ultimate answer is to sit and shut up and be conscious. Infinity cannot ever be made sense of or explained. It will NEVER make sense to the logical mind. If it does, you fucked up.
  10. Same difference. And what is absolute consciousness grounded in?
  11. There is no foundation! It is groundless. However you imagine reality is how it is, for you, now. Until you imagine it otherwise.
  12. Except there are an infinite number of degrees of infinity
  13. That's the delicious paradox of it! Reality is perspectival. In a sense, for an atheist, God literally does not exist. Any question about a higher order reality will either happen within my reality, or his.
  14. Of course capitalism corrupts academia too. When academics are poor and underpaid, they are easy to seduce to the dark side. Many of the best academics quit and went to work in the private sector because the pay is much better.
  15. No, it goes deeper than just ideas or beliefs. In his reality Truth isn't Love. In mine, it is.
  16. Yes you can. Your thinking on this is too simplistic. For example, Ralston and I disagree on the nature of Love. This is as pure an isness disagreement as could be. There are many facets to isness. So disagreement is very much possible, and it has always taken place in all spiritual schools. This duality between isness and interpretation will not hold. Your interpretations construct isness at some level, and vice versa.
  17. If only it were so simple. You certainly can disagree about isness. Which is exactly what people do, even if they are awake. You have this naive view that life can be lived without interpretation, as if you are just a pure neutral observer. But this is not so. Our survival as humans is completely entangled with many epistemic and metaphysical beliefs, assumptions, and interpretations which you are hardly conscious of. So you can't avoid them. What you call isness isn't really isness, it's still wrapped in layers of interpretation and assumption. And you live in a society where communication needs to happen for survival to take place and where people have different POV which must be negotiated and reconciled somehow -- otherwise we kill each other. If only life were so easy that once you awaken all interpretations and assumptions stop. But they don't!
  18. My rebuttal of John Mackey: https://www.actualized.org/insights/conscious-capitalism-bs
  19. Like I say, the nature of reality is perspectival and absolutely relative. It would mean absolute relativity. Reality is completely imaginary. It is however you imagine it and people will imagine it differently. You are still stuck assuming "other" and wanting to validate the Absolute against "other". This cannot work, since other is imaginary. You're trying to ground reality in something, but reality is groundless.
  20. Of course, I speak from experience. Although I've never gone full-Conner. Never go full-Connor It's totally to be expected. Self-deception does not end with awakening, it takes on an even higher dimension. That can't be explained to you. There are levels of consciousness which cannot be proven or talked about. You will either access them personally for yourself, or you won't, and will forever remain clueless about them. Of course. This is to be expected. Serious self-honesty and commitment to truth is required. Beyond just the pursuit of awakenings. You have to be really strict with yourself about your own fantasies and biases. Like I said in my self-deception series, no one is ever immune from self-deception. Not enlightened masters, and not even me. You are always doing the best you can, with no guarantees of perfection. Yes, that's the nature of Consciousness, you cannot validate it through 2nd hand sources. Absolute Truth cannot be disproven nor can be validated through social means as you desire it to be. That's why it doesn't really matter what anyone says. You must become conscious of it for yourself. You are never going to get humans to agree about things. The only one who is capable of understanding the deepest layers of reality, is YOU. No one else but you. The mistake you're making is you're trying to ping off some other source of authority. You want some "other" to reassure you that you have not lost your mind. But this is impossible, since all others are your own mind. You see? God has no other whom he could ask, since God is ONE. This is not a bug, it's a feature.
  21. Not everything is written.
  22. I have not. Likely so. Although I kinda doubt he wants my guidance.
  23. That is another problem. Psychedelics must be used properly to get their benefits and power. Taking a massive dose of LSD -- as he did (1000ug) -- is not a valid way to use psychedelics for consciousness work. Yeah, 1000ug of LSD will do nothing but freak you out and make you never do psychedelics again. Daniel Ingram made the same mistake with his over-dose on Ayahausca.
