In practice quieting the mind is necessary when a tool like psychedelics isn't available. But of course there is no absolute reason why a quiet mind is necessary for God-realization. That's not how business works. Business is not a function of time or hours worked, it's a function creativity and value generated. If you generate enough value you can make six figures within a year. But if you don't generate enough value you can work for 30 years and still be broke. There are never any guarantees in business.
