It doesn't necessarily have to be a fully actualized income stream. But you need to at least have a proof of concept. Have you even made one sale? If you can't even make 1 consistent sale per month, what do you got but a pipe-dream? There is not one way. There are many ways. Snoop around to find what works.

No. Imagine for moment that you gave birth to a baby not unconsciously, but consciously, by designing every part of its body using your mind. Well, that's what a creative person does with his life. Realize this: "baby" is a purely metaphysically-relative notion. Free yourself to create whatever you want by unshackling your mind.

Most humans don't have any sense of higher purpose. And you won't succeed in convincing them to pick one up. It's not part of their character structure. The big factor here is ambition. Most people simply aren't ambitious and you will never make them ambitious so stop trying. Either accept your ambitionless man or leave him and next time screen guys for ambition before sleeping with them. Ambition is a fundamental character trait of the mind. You're born with it or you're not. This is not an issue of confidence. It's an issue of ambition.

If you're already at an advanced level of consciousness and development, then you don't need it from the outside. But if you're not at that level of consciousness -- which 99.999% of people are not -- then you need love from others because you don't know how to access it otherwise.

@Axiomatic Apparently you've never seen a drunken douche-bro ruin a party.

@cle103 To quit a job you need a reliable, proven method of getting money from your work. Do not just quit your job hoping that things will work out. They won't. You must prove a reliable income stream. THEN you can quit your job. When it comes to income, you must be pragmatic as a motherfucker. No fantasies and wishful thinking. Where is your income?

Then what you call "the apocalypse" -- LOL -- has been here for the last 10,000 years. What you or Shunya call the apocalypse is simply the default human condition. Humans are not really in need of healthy conscious communities because they are themselves unconscious like animals and they have created exactly the kind of community that they are willing to tolerate. If you put the average American in Shunya's community, he will balk and piss all over it and leave. The average American wants Trump not Shunya. The average Americans wants beer and porn and Game of Thrones. Not a spiritual community. "The apocalypse" -- this current society -- IS what us humans have created because that's what the majority of us want and tolerate. Stop blaming some evil others for it. If you could not create a great community now, don't fool yourself into thinking you will be able to create one in the forest somewhere. Whatever community you create will precisely reflect your level of unconsciousness and selfishness. It's easy for Shunya to create an elite spiritual community when he excludes 99.9999% of all of mankind from it. The real challenge is how to create a spiritual community that includes the millions of MAGA morons who will call you a pedophile as soon as you tell them anything they don't want to hear.

@Lyubov It's not a requirement in some absolute sense. It's a systemic feature of current civilization. In 1000 years everything will change. But you are living now, not then.
-
You should realize most things in society do not scale across all of society. For example, if everyone became a plumber, civilization would die out. But that does not mean there's anything wrong with you pursuing a lucrative plumbing career. Society requires lots of specialized roles that are not meant to scale. We don't need 100% entrepreneurs. That would be as stupid as trying to get 100% plumbers or dentists.

Not bold at all. Just common sense. Civilization is built on wage slavery and unconsciousness. Why do you think so few people care about enlightenment? It's not some accident. It's absolutely central to civilization's survival.
-
Lol Of course! Escaping wage slavery or being a millionaire cannot scale across the whole society by definition. Do not confuse my biz advice for national economic policy. My biz advice is geared towards the top 1% of mankind who actually care to be creative. My advice will never scale across the entire population. And neither will enlightenment. If everyone in society became enlightened civilization would collapse. But this is not a problem because less than 1% even care about enlightenment. Likewise, less than 1% even care about starting a biz, let alone willing to do the necessary work. None of this makes my biz advice dysfunctional, as you say. It's super functional and helps advance mankind of you do it right. My biz advice does not contradict starting a co-op. And my advice is not about maximizing profits. I do not give stage Orange biz advice. But nor does my biz advice fit your utopian Green socialist ideals, since that is nonesense which does not work in the real world. It is you who is actually tainting the creative process by trying to inject politics into it. My biz advice is apolitical. You should also understand that we live within a certain system (capitalism) and you must work within this system, not your fantasies. You can try to change the system, but until that is actualized you're still operating within the old system, and there's no way to escape that.

Sorry, I know this isn't exactly high-brow of me, but hey, sometimes there's value in showing how delusionally wrong a YT pundit is. One of the problems with conservative pundits is how often they are wrong and how easily they get away with it and just continue acting as though it's all good. There needs to be accounting for one's bad predictions and takes because that's ultimately how we adjudicate between worse and better worldviews. Conservatives are masters at avoiding this empirical accounting because it rarely favors their worldview.

This is actually very untrue. On the absolute scale most consumer goods get cheaper all the time. If you spend 10% of your income to buy a car today, you will get a product that is 10x better than your daddy would get if he spent 10% of his income on a car back in the 80's. Certain things like real estate are an exception. Although even when buying a house, the house you get today will be 10x better than a house built in the 1960's. Today's middle class live better than yesterday's royalty. Yet it's never good enough. Basically, if you earn low six figures these days, you can live like a king. -
This is about as "evil" as Orange gets: If you read his book you will also notice that he started out as a stage Blue straight-laced Protestant. Then went toxic Orange. Now evolved into Green.

For the same reason that if I said I only want to fuck super-models, you would get triggered and a pointless debate would ensue.

If there's nothing left then you won't mind if I lock this thread. -
What's going on is unconsciousness and self-bias. And I'm sick of moderating these pointless gender debates that lead to no raising of consciousness or deeper understanding.
-
Do not turn these threads into blind justifications of your survival biases, or I will lock them down. Ya'll really struggle to discuss gender dynamics without getting all personal and egotistical about it. Self-reflect before you post your self-biased BS here. This goes for men and women here. You are both guilty of it in your own ways.

Steam is as pure as water gets. But if you dip it in the bottom....

Laying that foundation of bullshit deep, eh? Jking

Depends on what you're cooking. If it's stuff like soup, definately don't use tap. But even stuff like boiling rice, pasta, potatos, it's pretty dumb to do that for 20 years using tap. Fixing your health will cost thousands. Good R/O system costs $300. They have countertop R/O systems with no drilling.
-
If you expect me to help you defend your biases, you've come to the wrong place.

Lol Conversation over. Firing some missiles is the norm and does not at all compare to what Bush and the Neo-Cons did. Clinton nor Obama would have invaded Iraq.
